The technician used no tools and only guessed that it needed Freon. He then gave me An Estimate of $700 to add Freon. He said that if that didn’t work he was willing to sell me a new unit for $5,000.
He then demanded the service call fee. He could clearly see my wife and three kids and knew that this was a desperate situation. This company clearly is out for the money and Srvice is not a part of what they offer. I suggest go elsewhere and do not ever call this company.

Joe is a life saver when your system goes down. He knows his stuff and takes care of your problem right away. What I like most about him is his professionalism and his honesty.

The wall furnace would not stay lit & called Kaplan for service. Joe promised Tuesday AM appointment, was a little behind schedule, but kept his word. A general contractor friend of mine recommended Kaplan Heating and Air Conditioning Repairs. So I gave them a call. Joe the person I talked to was very knowledgeable and knew right away my problem when I described it. They arrived on time, gave me a fair and reasonable quote and the job was completed in a timely manner. After Joe was done he walked me through every thing that he did. When he left the area where he worked it was clean and back to normal.
