Deonte Rollin performed the most thorough servicing of our lawn that we have ever seen!! He addressed all of our concerns, especially about the ‘clover’ and other weeds that are appearing on our TruGreen lawn !! He’s the best !! We love him !!

True Green lawn care service is worth every penny, if you love green carpet grass. It took us at least 4 visits to see our yard turn into a thick green grass carpet. We've been with Trugreen for over 2 years. Technicians are always professionals, very helpful and always on time. Today we had Taylor S. come by and do our service, when he was done he offered to bring in empty trash cans. Which Taylor S. did. Thank you for that and hope he is recognized by Truegreen lawn care service.

My TruGreen tech did an outstanding job today. Gino made sure everything was taken care of and was very thorough. My shrubs and plants are looking better with each passing day. Thanks!

Other than not giving me enough Warning of the appointment, he did a thorough job and efficient and covered all areas of the grass and left me a detailed description of what he did with each chemical

I had a free property evaluation with TruGreen, and I’m so glad I did! Jeff was incredibly patient, informative, and helpful throughout the entire visit. He took the time to explain everything in detail and answered all my questions without rushing. I truly felt heard and supported.
For the first time in a long time, I feel hopeful about the future of my yard. Jeff’s knowledge and care gave me confidence that TruGreen can help transform my outdoor space ( lawn , trees, and shrubs) into the dream yard I’ve always envisioned. I’m excited to get started and watch the progress unfold!
Thank you, TruGreen—and thank you, Jeff! -
Tree and shrub service is a joke. Tech stands 20-30 feet away and sprays and preys. They don’t look for infestations or problem plants to treat. I had them out twice and same thing. Now I have terrible aphid and mealybug infestation on my hibiscus.

Approximately a year ago, I had the pleasure of meeting a TruGreen representative named Robert Williams. He provided exceptional service and thoroughly assessed the condition of my yard. Despite the presence of Oxalis, dandelions, and various weeds, Mr. Williams assured me that TruGreen could not guarantee the complete removal of these weeds but promised a lush and vibrant lawn.
Prior to TruGreen's services, I had personally nurtured my yard from seedlings to its current state. However, I must acknowledge that the partnership with TruGreen has been instrumental in achieving the remarkable transformation of my lawn, making it the envy of my neighborhood.
It is important to emphasize that this partnership requires mutual effort. Mr. Williams meticulously explained that, in collaboration with TruGreen's expertise, I could unlock the true potential of my yard. This involves adhering to their instructions, ensuring proper watering schedules, and allowing the grass to grow to a height of 3.5 inches before mowing at a height of 3 inches. (tall fescue recommendation only)
As suggested by both Robert Williams and the technician who services my lawn, TruGreen is a thorough service, but it requires collaboration and adherence to their instructions. By following their guidance and maintaining a consistent watering and cutting schedule, you can achieve a lawn similar to mine. -
This company really needs to get its act together if it's going to survive regardless how long Trugreen has been around. I was very impressed by the service I received from the salesperso ln, Tristan from the Riverside location, however, the communication between the sales office and whomever schedules the technicians to come out for service along with what services are expected on the first visit is absolutely horrible. So much so that I canceled the entire service going forward because they botched everything up. Each time I reached out to Tristan with the exception of the day they unexpectedly showed up he claimed that he immediately would reach out and he would get it straightened out but I got call after call from the automated system and message after message just with inaccurate information from the dates book to the times book to what services we were going for. They thought it was appropriate to aerate and oversee the lawn on a day that was in the high eighties. It doesn't end there when the tech came out unexpectedly on Wednesday and I showed him my text messages and he was really transparent and told me that he's been working for the company since 2018 and he hears this more and more that the communication between the customer and the company is ridiculous. They can't get anything right. When I told him that I wasn't even scheduled for that but scheduled for a fertilization and weed spray for the very first visit he completely agreed with me. Ironically though I found it funny that he asked if he could still do the aeration and overseeding even when he agreed that it wasn't appropriate for the heat of the day. I was assured by Tristan that they wouldn't be doing the overseeding and aeration until November. We are in Southern California so you can understand why you don't do these types of services in 80° weather. They need to bridge the gap between the sales people and the people that actually take care of scheduling and providing the services. The app was no help at all. I found it's so annoying getting phone calls each day from them along with text messaging, all inaccurate even after I spoke to tristan. I have kept all my text messaging and I wrote an email to the email that appears in these response messaging. Of course I didn't expect to hear back from TruGreen but I wanted to make sure they had a clear understanding that I wanted the service canceled and I did not want to receive any sales calls or any more text messaging. I did call the 800 number which by the way is overseas and very difficult to understand the person you're speaking to. They assured me they would cancel it and gave me a reference number as they do not email or text a cancellation. Amazing that they'll harass you through emailing phone calling and messaging but yet when you try to cancel suddenly they have no means to let you know it's canceled. I don't even know if it's a legitimate cancellation number but I at least have my emails to the company and I deleted the app. My message is this. In order for this company to gain business they're going to have to fix their problems between sales and whoever does the scheduling and the service fulfillment. The app is useless they should put it to greater use by confirming dates times and what's provided. Like my husband said if they can't even get the first service right after all this back and forth that you had to do then we need to cancel them. The writing is on the wall. I read it the negative reviews and I even brought them up to the salesperson. I was hoping I wouldn't fall victim to the same encounter that so many have to tell but before it became more of an issue I canceled the whole service.
No need to say you're sorry, TruGreen and give me the review.com as I'm willing to guarantee not one person on this string has actually received an email back from that email address. That's just simply to pacify public, in my opinion. Do better TruGreen. -
If I could give zero stars, I would they came out to do a free estimate looked at my whole property never stated any issues other than we can fix your lawn. The first appointment came technician was able to come into my property perfectly fine and leave perfectly fine until I was scheduled for my second appointment it kept getting canceled and I called True Green to see what had happened. They reinstated my stuff and I was going to have another appointment Set until that appointment had got canceled as well. When I called to see why it keeps getting canceled. The manager stated that my property did not have a proper parking space when my property has a long driveway second, they also made an excuse that it is unsafe to back out from since I live on a main street, but I cannot control that the driver does not know how to pull out properly and safely so for that they declined my services. I think they should’ve all been told or raised a concern when the guy came out to do the initial walk-through of my property now I’m left to find another company. Do not go with True Green.

To say that I am extremely upset would be an understatement right now. I purchased a year's worth of service just last week with TruGreen, as my newly sodded lawn that I had installed two to three months ago has been having Brown patch pop up due to apparently excessive watering that I was told by the installer was needed for the first month in order to help the sod get established. I purchased two different fungicides to try and combat this, one of which got great reviews online and the other that was recommended to me by the installer of the grass. Neither have really helped keep the grass from continuing to get these Brown patch spots and I've been at a loss as to what to do. We also have post-emergent crabgrass that I believe was there prior to the new side being installed as it wasn't killed off by the installer before the installation happened, and that is also something that I'm unsure of how to combat. I contacted TruGreen and was told on the phone that you could assist with both Brown patch treatment and crabgrass control, but that it would take time. The technician that came out today basically flat out told me that's a lie. He does not spray fungicide or do anything that would help with brown patch and there's also nothing that can be done about post-emergent crabgrass and that "eventually in a couple years my grass will be entirely crabgrass" as there's nothing they can do to kill that without killing the entire lawn. Additionally, I didn't really feel like my predicament mattered all that much. The meeting with the technician today started with him telling me that I was not watering my lawn enough, and it took me like three or four tries before I could get a word in edgewise explaining why I cut back on the watering and what I've been trying to do (unsuccessfully balancing watering my yard enough to where it gets the water it needs without also overwatering it which is making the brown patch worse.) He also kept saying that I needed to go to home Depot and purchase a fungicide bottle that attaches to a hose sprayer and use that to control the fungicide. When I explained I used two other fungicides already (granules and then one that goes into a sprayer bottle) he told me neither of those will work and the one I was using in the sprayer bottle actually caused some of the brown patches he is seeing. "You killed your own lawn" is one of the phrases he used. When I explained I was told that was something that his company would help with which is the whole reason why I contacted them for service, he essentially said the people on the phone don't know what they're talking about, he doesn't know why they told me they would spray fungicide or help at all with brown patch, and that there's nothing he could do to help with that. I believe one of the phrases used was "they're sales people so they were trying to make a sale." When I mentioned the crabgrass again it was a "we can help during the Spring with pre-emergent crabgrass but once it's post-emergent there's nothing that will kill it other than Roundup which will also kill your lawn" and that there was nothing they could do. When I expressed my frustration at all of this, the response I got was "how do you think I feel? I've just been blindsided by this." By the end of the meeting with the technician I really wasn't saying much as there wasn't much else that could be said and I definitely didn't feel like he cared about my predicament all that much. There was no offer to test the soil, and the only thing that was offered involved him putting sulfur down to help the soil out (for the front yard) and then putting down fertilizer and whatever else in the small grassy area in the back. Nothing about helping with weed control outside of the grassy areas either (when I mentioned I needed that cleared up he said I should use Roundup on it.) If there are so many things I'm being told I should do myself, what exactly am I paying you for? I hope the supervisor that's supposed to call me back to go over all of this can help me out, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

I was a little skeptical about True Green, but I had a weed problem that was not going away and kept growing!
Literally by the second visit the weeds were gone, and the grass started growing again!!
I am a believer now! I’m in San Bernardino and it can get very hot and dry, my grass is very green right now and it’s growing so much that I have to cut it sometimes twice a week. -
My newly planted grass was looking a little sad at first, with too many patches and weak spots. TruGreen completely turned that around! After adjusting the watering and completing 4 out of the 5 visits, my lawn looks beautiful — dark green and healthy. Technician Robert Shaw explained everything I needed to do in a simple, easy-to-understand way.

No call or email from true green in over 6 months. Show up today out of the blue and aerate my lawn. No text. No call. No email. No confirmation. Completely unauthorized. Just so happens I recently put down grass seed and my lawn is still in the establishing stage. So not only did they perform unauthorized work, they ruined a perfectly good young lawn. Any somewhat trained professional would have seen the length and size of my grass blades and known it was not a good idea to be there. In addition the soil was very moist, but that did not leave Ricardo from leaving rut after rut after rut in a lawn I recently rented heavy equipment to level and grade. I called and was on hold for a very long time to receive the resolution “we will have someone call you in 24-48 hours” not only is the customer service poor at true green, they are not professionals. The work quality is sub par, the decision making is poor. Anyone that cares even slightly about what they do for work would not have ran heavy machinery over this lawn. I will never trust or recommend this company ever again. Huge disappointment that I didn’t even ask for. Shame on you guys

Very happy with my lawn, lawn looks well manicured, he took the time to edge around my sprinklers, which makes a huge differences, it saves my sprinklers from the mower. thank you.

This company only works through email or app. They do not respond to questions, they postpone services for no reason. Dont show up when scheduled. Dont mow to your request . Rush the job.
