Unfortunately, ruined my Dometic fridge by parking off level. Fortunately, found these guys on the Internet. Chris was incredibly helpful on the phone and I drove over to his workshop to buy a remanufactured unit which was then installed by Sal Hernandez a friend recommended by them. The experience can only described as excellent and thoroughly professional.

I needed a new cooling unit for our RV refrigerator and called numerous places. All quoted me ridiculous prices to replace it.
I found Cool Fun RV Cooling and spoke with the owner. Very nice guy!! He quoted $1800 for the cooling unit and installation. Our refrigerator is very large and is no easy task getting out.
We drove down to his shop and they started right away. 5 hours later we were on the road.
He also put in a new fan and a sensor at no additional charge.
I drove 10 hours to get to his shop and it was absolutely worth it. These guys really know the business of Rv refrigerators.
Two days after the install i received a followup text to make sure everything was going well with the refrigerator. Nobody does this these days and I really appreciated it.
I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a good, honest company to deal with!!

Cool fun repaired my RV refrigerator about 4 years ago. The repair was done on time quickly and for less than estimated Chris the owner totally wants to help the customer His whole thing is to do what his dad taught him and make the customer happy. My repaired refrigerator from 2005 is still working very well Chris did an excellent job. If I ever need an RV refrigerator repair I will be calling Chris. Thanks Chris you are a good guy! 👍 👍

Excellent customer service. When I was swapping out my old cooling unit for new I realized the last person had lost the baffle.. Chris sent me a used baffle to make my replacement seamless. Fridge is nice and cold. Great company!

Chris and Sal are professionals in their field of RV cooling units!!!
I just bought a Cooling unit from Cool Fun and had it shipped to me in Utah.
Both Chris and Sal took time out of their busy schedules to answer a few questions that I had about the unit.
Not only are they both experts when it comes to these cooling units but they also provided outstanding customer service which in today’s world, I find very rare.

Wow, that guy offer a huge service. Our Norcold 1200 stop fonctionning and we were looking for a cooling unit not to far.. we were in Mexico .. Chris work so hard to find a solution for us.. finally , not is fault, but it’s hard to send that in Mexico…
So he send it to friend having a house in Texas, we just install it , and at each step, just have to ask, and he was there to answer. A really good company and a super owner.thanks Chris for all your help and time in this

Had a great service experience, very quick and after replacing the cooling unit the fridge worked great.

They are totally inundated with order so you have to be patient on shipping and emails. I got my cooling unit in about a week and a half. Chris was great and responded to my questions. Cooling unit is exactly as described. Installation was not easy but watched a few videos and got it done. Fridge works as good as new now.

My 1210 Norcold stopped cooling and I found CoolFun online the price was right. Ana took a few days getting back to me but I guess that’s typical during there busy season. I got the unit and doing it my self was a night mare Ana gave me Chris and sals number and with some video chats between the both of them my refrigerator is working great. Thanks CoolFun

Passed on my info to a repair guy, who ended up helping me get the unit installed. Fit like a glove. Best experience ever. Great place to go.

I was nervous about ordering based on other reviews, but I'm glad I did. I was quoted $2000 by a local RV dealership for a new fridge, not including install. For just under $600 shipped, I decided to order a cooling unit since I have moderate to advanced mechanical skills. It only took just over a week to receive and the install only took a few hours and the fridge has never worked so good! Highly recommend them if you are looking to fix your camper fridge. It only takes moderate mechanical skills and the install video is step by step.

TL;DR- Chris (and team) are honest, knowlegible, helpful and their products work. I would order from them again.

I was refered to to Cool-Fun by another vendor when trying to order a replacement absorbtion unit for my trailer's fridge. The ordering/purchasing process was simple and the team at Cool-Fun was knowlegable and very helpful. Following my purchase, a mix up in the shipping labels and a miscommunication on their end, meant my package was not delivered. (1 stars at this point) However, when I reached out that night 7pm on Friday, Chris responded immediately and in person, investigated the issue, found a solution and was able to ship me a unit the next day. He checked in throughout the shipping process to let me know he was monitoring it, and when it arrived he was on call to provide excellent installation advice. Yes over all it wasn't the smoothest of my online ordering experiences. But the fact that Chris owned up to a mistake and hernestly did everything he could to resolve the issue, as quickly as he could, showed that he truly cares about his customers and making sure his company does right by them.

I bought a cooling unit for a Dometic fridge from Cool Fun RV. I did the installation, Now the Fridge works better the ever. I spoke to Chris, he is a great help. What a great guy Chris is/ If you have questions, that's the guy to call.

They stopped making refrigerators for RVs with an icemaker, so I was able to replace the cooling unit in my refrigerator. It was 1/3 the cost of a new refrigerator with no icemaker. The people at Cool Fun RV were very helpful in getting the correct part and helping me to fix my refrigerator. Really nice people.

A+ Customer Service. Chris went above and beyond helping me with the install of my unit.

Steller Customer service. I ordered a cooling unit from them because they had the best price, but the foam cut out did not perfectly match my fridge. They were very responsive to help me trouble shoot, even on off business hours. They quickly sent me out a new cooling unit that did fit. Then when later I had trouble because these unit have to be perfectly level to get started, they continued to do all they could to help. Good customer service goes a long way!

Great customer service, hands down! Was going to buy a new fridge, until I did some research to see if my original matching RV fridge can be fixed. Started looking at cooling units and found cool-fun’s website. They were half the price with warranty and saved me money from not buying a new fridge. I called an asked questions on how to take my old cooling unit out and replace with my new one. He walks you step by step from beginning to the end! I ordered a cooling unit for my fridge and installed it, but it did not work. I called cool- fun for ideas on what to check. They were very helpful, but I could not get the unit to work correctly. Chris offered to ship a complete refrigerator, instead of a replacement cooling unit, for the cost of shipping. They tested the refrigerator prior to shipping. The refrigerator arrived on a pallet, packaged very well to prevent any damage. I installed the refrigerator and it works beautifully! And it looks great! Talk about going above and behind to fix an issue. There customer service is to notch. Thanks Chris for fixing my refrigerator troubles!

My original Dometic fridge in our 1970 airstream bit the dust after 50 years. I called around and amazingly they had a cooling unit to match. It is probably 50 years old but never been out of the box! Amazing! Chris was as excited as I was and has stayed in contact through the process. And yes the fridge does work again and has a new life.

I bought a new cooling unit from Chris and it would not get cold. Chris called me multiple times and faced timed me to show me a unit in the shop and how to correctly install it. His customer service was the best I’ve seen. He went above and beyond. I highly recommend using this company and there products. The expertise was incredible!!!!
