I had an issue with my heat pump system not running properly. I called a few companies and no one ever responded. Tyler with mountain house answered the first time I called and set up an appointment for the following day. Tyler was very knowledgeable and presented me options for repair. Due to the age of the equipment I asked if Tyler replaces equipment like the heat pump I had and he does! I decided to move forward with a new efficient heat pump system for my home. Tyler’s install was very nice and my house was cleaner in the areas he worked than when he started. Highly recommend this company and Tyler to anyone with hvac needs!

I have a zoned heating system and I suspected that one or more of the 4 ducts leading to the living room had been compromised. I called 3 other HVAC servicers closer to home, 1 didn't return my call (I left a detail message of the issue), 1 (a major player in my area) didn't do this type of work, the third seemed to have difficulty understanding my problem. Finally, I Yelped and Mountain Home had 5 stars raving reviews. I called, the person I spoke with understood the issue and sent Tyler my way. He did a total check and confirmed that there had been a breach in the ducts but had me turn on the furnace to make sure that that was the only problem. The problem is now fixed, I don't know how their rates compare to the others but they did have the lowest service call charge of the two that I did speak to.

Fast response and excellent service. Tyler is extremely competent and assessed the problem quickly. He went out of his way on the same day to pick up the part and replace it. We highly recommend him.

My experience with Mountain House Mechanical was 5 stars from start to finish. Michaela promptly scheduled my appointment to meet with the owner, Tyler, to discuss purchasing a heat pump to replace my 26 year old furnace. Tyler discussed a few options and provided me with estimates the next day. Tyler is very professional while being genuinely nice. He is an excellent communicator and answered all of my questions and concerns. At the end of each day Tyler, and his assistant Ryan (also a very nice man), fastidiously cleaned up after themselves. Tyler took the time and effort to do a careful, skillful, and high quality installation. It's obvious that Tyler is a person of great integrity. He and Ryan did an amazing job installing the heat pump and air handler. I am so pleased with the outcome. We used to have issues with our downstairs being cold while the upstairs was too hot. Tyler was able to fix our duct system so that this is no longer an issue. They tested the heat/AC several times to make sure everything worked perfectly! I just can't say enough good things about Mountain House Mechanical. I give them the highest recommendation possible. Anyone who hires them will not be disappointed!

While he was out there, I had him quote me on replacing our gas furnace with heat pump system. The price was reasonable, and Tyler, so I went for it.

He serviced and cleaned my mini-split unit, explained its functionality clearly, and even took the time to educate my tenant on how to operate it efficiently. While he was here, I asked him to take a look at the main house heating unit, and he quickly discovered a wire that was rubbing against the fan…something that could’ve led to major problems if left unchecked. He repaired, cleaned, and inspected it thoroughly.
