We are new to Roseville and our realtor referred us to GR Home Renovation. They did an AWESOME job painting the inside of our home (bedrooms, hallway, entryway, living room, dining room, and laundry closet)!! They had to remove extensive wallpaper, prep, install base boards and paint and got it all done before we moved in!! We are so delighted with the finished product!!! Later, we had them come back to paint the Master bathroom which had wallpaper that needed to be removed. They did an awesome job! They also installed new flooring in the vanity area, installed a new vanity, lighting, and fixtures. What a tremendous difference!! I will definitely call them back when we are ready to remodel our kitchen down the road!!! -- Karen

I have worked with many contractors in the past and never have I rated anyone before because it was never worthwhile of my valuable time. So for me to be spending time putting in a word or two about GR Home Renovation is showing how much it’s worth for your consideration to hire them.

Alex, was the person who helped us from the get go. First impression of him is he is straightforward and knowledgeable. Underneath his serious facial expression, he has a humorous side to him. He doesn’t sweet talk and throw in any sales pitch but he tells you what we need that fits our budget. He delivers what he promises and timely on the completion date. He also didn’t chase us for a cent to start or throughout our project which goes to show that his business is so stable, he can afford to pay his efficient staff without financial constraints.

It was apparent that GR Home Renovation staff delivered high quality workmanship. They removed our outdated popcorn ceiling, removed and replaced the carpet to vinyl wood flooring, refurbished the kitchen cabinet, painted the entire interior of the house and single-handedly fixed a ginormous mirror closet door and everything was done to perfection in our house. Impressively, at the end of each day, when we went to see the progress, we would find the house meticulously tidy even though the project was not entirely completed.

We also changed the flooring. The impressive point to note here, aside from the fact that the flooring was put in perfectly, is that GR Home Renovation has its own showroom so it provided a one stop convenience for busy people like us.

Nick and Alex came to our house several times to walk through with us and made sure we were getting exactly what we wanted before the renovation started. From start to finish it took two months and they completely transformed our 70's looking house into a beautiful oasis. I love getting to come home everyday to a house that is just what we wanted. Omg they are the best!!! They saved me from a terrrrrrible kitchen fail by my previous contractor. Alex was so awesome! He came over the same day, assessed the damage and came up with a fair price and plan to fix it. Excellent customer service and the quality of work from every person involved was evident. It only took them 3 or 4 days to demo, paint cabinets, correct the hardware, and re-install an even better backsplash... the most beautiful & exact backsplash I’ve ever seen!!! I LOVE it. Black grout on white subway tiles. Superb.

Don't do business with this company!

Estimated appointment was scheduled within time range 1 h, nobody did not give a call that they are on the way and estimated eta. The estimate tech did not greet but started right away with complaints that they were calling me, and I'm not at home and he wanted to leave. I was in the backyard. I responded that it's their will to leave, I'm totally fine with it. I gave them other quotes about what we have got from competitors companies. The estimator aggressively made me informed their materials are not even going to cover with these costs and left. Ni greeting, no introduction, no good bye, no appropriate questions were asked, awful customer service.
Don't give a business to rude people, make them learn how to provide a good customer service first!

Alex and his team did an amazing job with our remodel and update of our home at Swallows Nest in Sacramento. We were in a time crunch and Alex did extremely high quality work in a short amount of time. He is worth the value price he charges for his work.

Two things stand out with Alex and his team:
1) They work as if our house was theirs. The quality really shows and it’s refreshing not having to ask for things to be fixed or redone. They went above and beyond with their workmanship in all aspects of their job.

2) His team picked up and cleaned up at the end of every workday. They vacuumed and swept up at the end of the day. Bonus points for making a “clean room” in the garage when they were sanding and painting cabinet doors.

We will definitely work with Alex and his team at GR Home Renovation in the future if we need them.

GR Home Renovation added an interior wall to our loft, relocated a fan, upgraded our lighting, and added a slider to our primary bedroom. They did excellent work and completed the job on schedule. They were responsive and kept us in the loop during the renovation. Russ and his team did a fantastic job and we would highly recommend them!

Alex and his team do amazing work! They installed vinyl plank flooring, removed my popcorn ceilings, painted the interior, painted my cabinets, installed door nobs and sink fixtures, and fixed a super old sliding door to now perfect quality. We used GR for both our bathroom remodels and had GREAT outcomes. Both bathrooms look amazing. Russ and Vlad were always timely responding and showing up. They were very careful in preventing any unnecessary mess inside the house. All the workers were extremely polite and hard working. The end product was exceptional, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable contractor with a great result.

We hired GR home renovation to add a bedroom, install French doors, and replace the flooring and baseboards throughout our 2000 sq/ft house. Overall, we were very happy with them and I would recommend them. Russ was super responsive and proactive in his communications, which in my experience is uncommon in the industry and very important when you’re a client. They performed all work as agreed upon and in a timely fashion. In general, we were happy with the quality of craftsmanship. My only complaint is that they could be more diligent in hiring quality subcontractors. They hired a subpar framer who did some sloppy work. He installed a new wall four inches out of place from where the blueprint specified and on top of that it was 5/8 inch out of plumb over 7 feet, which is beyond an acceptable level of error for professional framers. That said, it only created an aesthetic issue, nothing structural or functional. And to their credit, they acknowledged their fault and after some back and forth they agreed to provide me with a credit and make some remedial modifications that I was satisfied with. I used to work in the construction industry, and in my experience there are going to hiccups on any major project. What really matters is how professionally they are dealt with, and they pass that test in my view. In terms of pricing, they were right in line with my estimate and other bids I collected. I will be asking them to bid on a future kitchen renovation we’re planning because we were overall very satisfied with them.

GR Home Renovation did a fantastic job replacing our kitchen countertops and backsplash tile, and installing a cabinet and shelving for a reasonable price. Russ's team completed the project while we were on vacation and kept us updated. GR was thorough, professional, paid great attention to details, and was creative in making necessary adjustments. We were delighted to come back to the new kitchen we had agreed upon and envisioned, and highly recommend them.
