Tim / Molokai Electric responded quickly to my request for a quote on five light replacements as well as some dimmer switch replacements. Tim's estimate was great and he was out to complete the job the same afternoon.

After it was discovered that one of the light fixtures I had did not cover an old electrical hole in the wall, Tim explained my options. After I decided I wanted to get a different fixture, he waited for me to go get it so he could finish job.

I chose Molokai Electric off of SMUD's list of approved contractors. It must have been my lucky day! I messaged a number of others and, from some, never received a response. Others were more expensive, several about 50% higher. Tim and I came to an agreement and he got right after it. In less than a week, Tim got the required permit, gathered up the materials (actually, he probably had most of them!) and did the work. We couldn't be happier. They were quick and left me with an EV charger and everything cleaned up and buttoned up. I can't recommend them highly enough. It's nice to know I won't have to hunt in the future when I need an electrician.
