We finally decided to have our siding redone on our 1941 house. I had around 10 or so bids come and talk us about options and pricing. DL Designs came with a very competitive offer and sold us on James Hardie siding and new windows for our home. I initially wanted to go with insulated vinyl thinking about how much this project would cost. I am so glad we decided to go with DL Designs and the James Hardie siding as it came out 10 times better than expected and the service from DL Design's crew was 10/10.

DL Designs does things right. Our home is very old and and nothing is straight, but they managed to install our siding perfectly. The crews work very hard and have great attention to detail in the work they do. Each day after they were done working, they cleaned up and organized all of their tools and equipment in the backyard. The area was spotless after they left each day and I loved going out there each night to admire their work and check on progress. We have a dog as well so we really appreciated each and every nail and scrap wood being swept up each day so that he wouldn't get into anything he shouldn't.

Throughout the process I had a few ideas and questions to which working with their foreman Dmitri was a breeze. He was very knowledgeable, gave great advice, very skilled work, and was a pleasure to work with. I made changes along the way and wanted a couple things in different places (things I should have planned for in the beginning) and their response was no problem and made the changes.

I will also recommend this. Go with DL Designs for every part of the job, especially any structural or electrical work needed, very important. I decided to go with another electrician from a friend's referral and I regretted that quickly. They damaged the beautiful new siding and poorly installed some fixtures, but DL came back and fixed some of their mistakes making me feel a lot better.

Overall, I would recommend DL Designs to anyone in need of siding and I will work with them again. We couldn't be happier with the way our home turned out. The quality of service, product installation, and customer service from DL Designs is 10/10.

DL Design did a phenomenal job on our home remodel. They did new Hardie siding for us, new gutters, new sliding glass door, new front door, and a new garage door. I recently had a total re-do of the exterior of my 25 year old home. This included new windows, sliders, Hardie siding, soffit, lighting, doors, trim… the works. This was not anything I was familiar with so it was important that when I met with contractors, I understood the whole process, my choices and options, and of course the cost.

I went with DL Design Construction for several reasons: the owner himself came out to discuss the project with me, bringing abundant samples and leaving me with detailed figures for the work I wanted done, to which it was easy to add or subtract as the project evolved.

Afterwards he routinely visited the site to make sure I was happy with the progress. The office also kept in constant touch with me about the project, and responded to me quickly and in detail whenever I had a question or request.

The crew was absolutely wonderful. I saw it myself and had at least three neighbors come down and compliment them for how hard they worked, how careful they were, and how neat everything was left at the end of the day. They also communicated with me on a day-to-day basis, right down to what kind of new house numbers I wanted and where the doorbell should go.

Just replaced our siding and happy with the work. Guys came when they said they would, kept me updated, double checked their work, and answered all questions. A couple of communication hiccups but over all well done.

They even added a few requests I had. They were friendly and answered questions that I had. The inspector always signed off on the work without problems. DL Design Construction did a beautiful, detailed job with repairs to one wall on the back of our home. We had been having a siding leaking issue that was an unresolved mystery issue for over a year. DL was able to demo old siding, remove mold they found within the chimney, and reconstruct the outside of our home, including new insulation, and installing plywood, corrected flashings, sturdy James Hardie siding (comes with 30-year guarantee), and 4 new Simonton windows. DL provides a 10-year labor guarantee. Specifically, Vitaly and his team provided exemplary customer service. They were all very friendly and Vitaly went above and beyond, keeping us thoroughly informed throughout the whole process of repairing our back wall. In his explanations of his work, Vitaly used language without jargon so non-construction experts can understand the work performed and the materials used! The whole team was professional, respectful, and maintained a clean work environment for the weeks they were at our home. We can already feel how much better insulated our home is with the new windows/insulation and feel much more ready for the winter! For the quality of the work alone, we would recommend DL Design and Construction. Also, they did a very detailed clean-up job post-construction. I cannot even begin to say enough good things about this company.

We contacted DL Design Construction to get an estimate on having Hardie board siding installed. After meeting with DL Design and walking our property, we decided to add on new insulation, new fascia boards, new gutters, and soffits. The cost was amazingly reasonable for all of the products and installation that was needed.

The construction crew was AMAZING. They were always extremely professional. They involved us at every decision point and notified us immediately when they spotted a potential problem.

They provided us options when we had to make decisions - like replacing our back door due to rotting boards, replacing some beams that had old termite damage, and doing some electrical work that wasn't up to code; even to the nitty gritty items like the placement of our gutter downspouts and the paint colors for the existing structure that would not be covered by Hardie board. They also let us know an approximate cost for each of the decisions we made.

I also appreciated that they pointed out areas of concern on work that they don't do (interior work) and advised us (on a very high level) how urgent the repair would be.

They left our home SPOTLESS every night. Other than a few tools piled discretely in a corner, our house after hours never looked like a construction zone. And ALL of my plants survived! Previous construction on our home (not DL Design) left my plants trampled by workers.

They paid EXTREME care to detail (e.g. touch-up paint and final walk thru) and all of the work was done to the best quality I have ever seen by a construction crew.

They went above and beyond by offering to put up exterior items we (the homeowners) had taken down prior to construction (like our security screen doors) and one member of the team reinstalled our cat door for us (after I inquired if it could be done) for a VERY reasonable price considering what a beast that door was to install in the first place.

They were super considerate, especially when we asked to stop construction for one day so we could host a small backyard birthday party for my daughter which was planned well in advance of us deciding to do construction. Due to pandemic restrictions, moving the party wasn't an option and we considered canceling when they offered not only to postpone work for one day, but, despite being in the middle of the most turbulent part of the project, they cleaned up the house in such a way that it had to be inconvenient for them to move large items, just to move them back the next day.

The projected timeline provided at the time of signing the contract was right on target. And to show how amazing they all could be, the project was finished a week ahead of schedule. We are super sad to see this crew go and wish we could use them for all of our construction projects. Highly recommend.
