We cannot recommend Peak Electric highly enough! After our home insurance canceled us over our outdated Zinsco panel, we needed a reliable, skilled electrician to upgrade it and Peak Electric exceeded all expectations.

From the start, Ashley (the owner and lead electrician), and her colleagueVinny, were incredibly professional, hardworking, and meticulous in their work. They handled everything, including digging a trench, with great care and attention to detail. They treated our home like their own, ensuring quality work and leaving everything spotless.

Beyond the panel upgrade, we had them install an EVSE charger in our garage, repair hazardous exterior outlets, and run a dedicated panel and breaker for our new hot tub. No matter the job, they delivered top-tier workmanship and thoughtful service.

We’ve dealt with plenty of contractors before, many with questionable business practices alluded to in simple requests for quotes, or with outrageous prices, but Peak Electric was the complete opposite. They were transparent, fair, and incredibly accommodating with scheduling.

A huge shoutout to Natalie, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to coordinate inspections, communicate with SMUD (even before we officially hired them!), and secure all available rebates for us. I reached out to Peak Electric as well as two other electricians for a quote. One did not respond to me for a week and did not even bother to come for an inspection. The other, after inspecting my electrical needs, gave me a high quote that included performing an unnecessary task. Peak Electric responded quickly, inspected the necessary tasks, and provided me with an itemized, fair quote.

Ashley and her team arrived on time during the expected appointment window. They did a fantastic job installing two outlets in my house—one in the ceiling of my garage for the garage door motor and another in the hallway closet to house my internet modem and router. It was very clear that they had done this numerous times before because they immediately understood the best placement for both outlets. They completed the work in two hours and left everything clean.

Ashley reviewed the tasks they had completed with me. She also communicated some potential electrical issues she came across while installing the outlets that my home inspector had failed to mention. I also appreciate that Ashley and her team were able to help me with a couple of other tasks in my house free of charge, including changing a hard-to-reach, burnt-out light bulb and quickly installing a video doorbell camera in just minutes.

The garage door technician came in today and commented on Peak Electric's excellent placement of the garage outlet. I will definitely be reaching out to Peak Electric for future electrical work!

They did an amzing job with installing a sensor light in the under stairs closet and adding a few outlets. I recieved quotes from many electrical companies, but they were the only ones to make suggestions to have what I wanted in a more cost effective way. I would highly recommend them for any job!!!

Had issues with my breaker box one evening and reached out on yelp. Ashley responded quickly and was able to get to my house within 30 minutes. She quickly diagnosed the issue and throughly explained what was needed (a whole new box) and helped me with the homeowners insurance part.
