Just replaced our siding and happy with the work. Guys came when they said they would, kept me updated, double checked their work, and answered all questions. A couple of communication hiccups but over all well done.

Dmitry and his team were very professional. They started right away. They finished on time even with a few rain days stopping construction. Everything was straight and plumb. They even added a few requests I had. They were friendly and answered questions that I had. The inspector always signed off on the work without problems. They cleaned up very well when the job was completed. I was always able to communicate with them and they always got right back to me with the information that I had inquired on. The house looks like new. I am completely happy with their work and how the house looks. I would recommended DL Design Construction for all your exterior housing needs.

DL Design Construction did a beautiful, detailed job with repairs to one wall on the back of our home. We had been having a siding leaking issue that was an unresolved mystery issue for over a year. DL was able to demo old siding, remove mold they found within the chimney, and reconstruct the outside of our home, including new insulation, and installing plywood, corrected flashings, sturdy James Hardie siding (comes with 30-year guarantee), and 4 new Simonton windows. DL provides a 10-year labor guarantee. Specifically, Vitaly and his team provided exemplary customer service. They were all very friendly and Vitaly went above and beyond, keeping us thoroughly informed throughout the whole process of repairing our back wall. In his explanations of his work, Vitaly used language without jargon so non-construction experts can understand the work performed and the materials used! The whole team was professional, respectful, and maintained a clean work environment for the weeks they were at our home. We can already feel how much better insulated our home is with the new windows/insulation and feel much more ready for the winter! For the quality of the work alone, we would recommend DL Design and Construction. Also, they did a very detailed clean-up job post-construction. I cannot even begin to say enough good things about this company.

We contacted DL Design Construction to get an estimate on having Hardie board siding installed. After meeting with DL Design and walking our property, we decided to add on new insulation, new fascia boards, new gutters, and soffits. The cost was amazingly reasonable for all of the products and installation that was needed.

The construction crew was AMAZING. They were always extremely professional. They involved us at every decision point and notified us immediately when they spotted a potential problem.

They provided us options when we had to make decisions - like replacing our back door due to rotting boards, replacing some beams that had old termite damage, and doing some electrical work that wasn't up to code; even to the nitty gritty items like the placement of our gutter downspouts and the paint colors for the existing structure that would not be covered by Hardie board. They also let us know an approximate cost for each of the decisions we made.

I also appreciated that they pointed out areas of concern on work that they don't do (interior work) and advised us (on a very high level) how urgent the repair would be.

They left our home SPOTLESS every night. Other than a few tools piled discretely in a corner, our house after hours never looked like a construction zone. And ALL of my plants survived! Previous construction on our home (not DL Design) left my plants trampled by workers.

They paid EXTREME care to detail (e.g. touch-up paint and final walk thru) and all of the work was done to the best quality I have ever seen by a construction crew.

They went above and beyond by offering to put up exterior items we (the homeowners) had taken down prior to construction (like our security screen doors) and one member of the team reinstalled our cat door for us (after I inquired if it could be done) for a VERY reasonable price considering what a beast that door was to install in the first place.

They were super considerate, especially when we asked to stop construction for one day so we could host a small backyard birthday party for my daughter which was planned well in advance of us deciding to do construction. Due to pandemic restrictions, moving the party wasn't an option and we considered canceling when they offered not only to postpone work for one day, but, despite being in the middle of the most turbulent part of the project, they cleaned up the house in such a way that it had to be inconvenient for them to move large items, just to move them back the next day.

The projected timeline provided at the time of signing the contract was right on target. And to show how amazing they all could be, the project was finished a week ahead of schedule. We are super sad to see this crew go and wish we could use them for all of our construction projects. Highly recommend.

Last summer, we hired DL Design Construction to replace the siding on our house and it was the best decision we made.
A few other houses in our neighborhood had used them in the past so we knew we would get high quality work. Everyone on their crew was very helpful and knowledgeable -answering all of our questions thoroughly and honestly. On each day of work, the job site was cleaned up really well. We hired DL Design Construction to replace the original cracked wood siding on our 1953 house. After receiving a few quotes (one at almost double DL's with a 5 month lead time) I was convinced with DL Design's professionalism during the consultation and reasonable pricing. They completed the project in record time (3 days) and always cleaned up impeccably after each work day. All workers were very friendly and it was evident they had pride in their trade from their precision attention to detail. We hired DL Design Construction last year to completely renovate the exterior of our home with James Hardie siding, including windows, light fixtures, and all new electrical with an all new panel. Dimitry and his team exceeded our expectations so much so that we rehired them to build us not one, but two storage sheds. But did they really build us the storage sheds we wanted?

We had one previous storage shed. You know the one that everyone has. The so called Tuff Shed, in reality wasn’t so tuff. It was falling apart. It was seated on cinder blocks that weren’t stable or sturdy. There were gaps in between the doors and we wanted something more secure and airtight from dust and critters. Especially the smell. You know what i’m talking about if you’ve had one. We also wanted something more purposeful, and something that would have longevity. So we shopped around looking at Tuff Sheds from Home Depot & Lowes, but quickly realized that they were similar to what we all ready had just with a bit more bandages. We knew within a very short period of time these sheds were going to fail miserably from their design and cheap building material. So we picked up the phone and called Dimitry at DL Design who we TRUST.

After discussing our requests with Dimitry his team went to work. Heres a brief breakdown of the work they did: They tore down the old shed, poured two concrete pads including a walkway leading up to the shed (that we just love). They anchored the shed down to the strong concrete pad, which practically made it tornado proof. They built the frame with precision and excellent craftsmanship. Insulated it so i can store more temperature regulated items. They sheathed the frame with plywood on the exterior as well as the interior. Then wrapped it with a water barrier paper. They installed several windows to help control temperature and bring in natural lighting. They installed a sturdy door with lock and key, which helped secure it, as well as prevent dust and insects from entering in. Unlike the prefab ones that have gaps and fall apart due to water intrusion and warping from sunlight. They finished the inside & outside with the best siding material out on the market, the James Hardie fiber cement siding. They also painted it from inside and outside with high quality paint. And not to fail to mention they installed electrical with an interior ceiling light and 3 outlets. You thought I was done, but i’m not. They also installed 3 custom gutters to help direct water away from the structures.

With these two new “sheds” we can utilize this space for so many purposes such as a new office space or even a gym. We can store things in there that we could never store in any new prefab shed out there. Such as food as an extra pantry, clothing such a transferring winter wardrobe from summer wardrobe. Storing blankets, towels, bed sheets, and not worry about things smelling like it came out of a shed. We no longer need to worry about bugs or critters getting to our valuables or moving in underneath the crawlspace making a din, since the “shed” is sealed airtight from all around.

Why I love to hire DL Design Construction? Because Dimitry is a great contractor. He combines technical expertise with, honesty, effective communication, and strong organization to deliver on time and within budget. He provided me with all the details, he’s transparent, he provides written estimates, he managed subcontractors effectively, he’s keen on keeping the job site tidy. He works hard on maintaining clear communication throughout the project. I am so thankful to the work his team has done to our property. Their craftsmanship is excellent. With each board cut to precision, and every nail driven in the correct position. They have exceeded our expectations yet again. So did they really build us a “shed”? No, they built for us something that exceeded our expectations in every way.

Decided to replace the three layers of siding (redwood, plywood, vinyl) on my older home and DL Design Construction did an amazing job, far exceeding my expectations. They kept my property clean the entire time. My house received new siding, new paint, several sagging beams were replaced, new gutters and a new door installed.

After working many years in my profession with various contractors, I could see the quality work the crew did as they really paid attention to details and made sure the end product looked good and I was happy. Highly recommend this company. Had our 2 story home re-sided. Took 3 weeks of prep work before new siding could be installed. Our home was missing quite a bit of plywood which had to be done. Amazed at how much work had to be done first! Paul and his crew were wonderful. They cleaned up every single day before going home. This included our neighbors yard also. Every thing that had to be removed was put back in place. Some damage was done to 2 window screens and they replaced those with heavier screens. They put new lights up for us, installed a new front door and built a new door for the water heater. So glad we had them do the work!!

I am very impressed with the work DL Design did on the remodel to my halfplex and the front side for our adjoining neighbors. We chose them because they have done quality work for one of our friends and are affordable compared to other companies on the market. We had siding, insulation, weather barrier, and electrical wiring done on. The process was very smooth and the workers were very flexible with the constant changes and additions considering we had a newborn with crazy sleeping schedule. They respected our privacy and our wishes in order to make me and my newborn comfortable and uninterrupted. These guys, especially leads Paul and Dimetri 2, were among some of the best contractors we've hired. We needed siding, electrical and window work. We got a couple of bids, and DL came in at the higher end. We chose them because some good friends gave them a very high recommendation. So glad we did. These were some of the kindest, most helpful guys that we've ever hired to work on our house.
