Had a great experience with the Regent5 team, they worked on a two month project for our new home and converted the house to a Smart Home wonderland with home automation wizardry. The lights in the house are all automated with lutron homework’s smart lighting keypads, beautiful lutron palladiom shades, new home theater system, audio music system update, Verkada surveillance cameras, gate controls and Savant software platform. They also updated our main house electrical panel to 400Amps.

Regent 5 helped us out when we really needed them. They are so knowledgeable and responsive. They came over last minute and fixed our whole AV system the day of a large party we were hosting and found some creative solutions to make sure our equipment ran smoothly the night of and beyond. We were very thankful for their expertise and flexibility.

I was in the market for an electrical company who was competent and capable of setting up a solar and battery based micro grid for my new home in Los Altos hills. My contractor and I interviewed many of the so called home automation and electrical experts in the Bay Area and they all failed to come up to site meetings or draw engineering diagrams to pull this off. I actually landed Regent5’s services by accident when my wife called them for a security and home theater installation makeover, with a savant smart home system. The sales team led by Cham, joined one of our construction meetings that day and educated my team with the micro grid setup and home automation. My contractor was immediately impressed by the Regent teams knowledge and insisted that we hire them as consultants in 2019 fall and winter. We had a few hiccups in November and December, but the team fine tuned the setup and everything works flawlessly now. Kudos to this team, very impressed with how skilled and knowledgeable they are.

We did a major upgrade to our older, existing AV system - and did a lot of homework before selecting Cham and Regent5. I noticed they are largest supplier of Savant Systems on the Peninsula, and as a result, i expected they would be able to handle my smart home automation and all the unanticipated (there always are some) that would arise. It turned out very well. I especially appreciated that Cham and team did not try to sell me the top of the line options and instead recommended I start with basic functionality and then add as needed. We are very pleased. Savant allows complete control from our iphones and the system is very reliable. I am a happy customer.

I can't recommend a business with more enthusiasm than I have for Regent5. Every step of our appointment and service installation was incredible and easy. Quick response, easy estimate process, professionalism and superlative service. I just moved here from Oregon, needed better wi-fi connection, network configuration and wire consolidation, TV service in 2 bedrooms, and connection for our Sonos sound bars. As an added bonus, Cham helped set up my Ring and solved billing and service issues I was having with Comcast. Awesome crew and follow up support. Regent5 is one of the best companies for smart home automation and related work including audio, video, camera, alarm systems, etc. They are experts in Savant, Lutron, and most other home automation technologies. While it may take a few days for Regent5 to get to your home IT IS WORTH IT. We had several problems to fix a replaced installed home studio and stereo system. 3, yes 3, other firms tried and failed. Regent got it in one visit and then came back to make sure it was working. Well done!

This review is LONG overdue. We initially used Regent5 for for a Home Theater Audio Video Installation and Design for our family room. We loved the experience so much that we extended a fantastic setup for the Master Bedroom. As projects often do, ours blossomed and Regent5 helped with our whole home smart automation with upgraded WiFi. We have been very pleased with our systems and especially pleased with the upgrades and maintenance they have assisted us with over the years. The techs are always knowledgeable, prompt, courteous and patient trying to explain in language and practice I can understand!! Very recently we had an unfortunate instance at our home and Regent5 responded immediately and are in the process of designing and installing a whole home security with video surveillance. Cham from Regent5 tries to explain to me the different options and my only response is "Whatever you think is best for our situation lets do that". The Regent5 team is incredible. I’m not the most tech-savvy person, so I love that I can rely on them for all of our AV needs. They helped us set up our WiFi WAP/TV/Cable/Apple TV/Sonos system across our entire home (indoor/outdoor). Anyone that has ever dealt with Sonos and Apple TV knows this is tricky. Their ongoing support is topnotch. They are very responsive via email or phone, they can troubleshoot remotely but also act with speed if I need them in-person. Again, I’m not tech savvy so their willingness to service in-person at the drop of a hat is really important to me! Overall, I’d highly recommend.

Techs from Regent5 installed a new (replacement) wall-mounted 77" TV and a powered subwoofer in our living room, as well as a new (replacement) 42" TV and soundbar in our bedroom. The installation was done very competently and efficiently, including updating software for the new equipment on our universal remote control.
