Calvin and his business have renewed my faith in quality, honest, and professional auto shops. I took our ageing van there for an oil change and to look into fixing the air conditioning. Overnight Calvin had changed the oil and done a thorough investigation of the AC system. Long story short, enough of the system was in critical shape that a full repair would likely cost more than the worth of the vehicle. I'm extremely appreciative of the honest diagnosis and highly recommend Howard Ave Radiator.

This is what car shop experience should be like - High quality work, respectful and friendly attitude, fair and reasonable pricing. I called this shop looking for a place that could service an older car’s AC system, and they didn’t disappoint! Bill answered the phone and let me know they’d be able to take a look and see if I had any issues. I dropped my car off the following day and they had it for only a few hours - they were able to completely test my system for leaks and recharge it, it had already been converted to a newer refrigerant by the previous owner (which I had no idea of). Bill was able to tell just by looking at the system that it had been converted! The work that was done was quick, high quality, and very well priced. My AC is blowing nice and cold, and the compressor doesn’t shut off randomly anymore. Thank you so much!

Called to have someone come evaluate my heater dampers. Technician arrived but told me he would have to check with his manager to assess the cost having electric dampers added to our ducts. I never heard back from them, even after two follow up calls. $99 down the drain. Technician who came was from Reliable Appliance Service. The address on the receipt is in southern CA, so not sure how Elite is connected to them. Still, a complete waste of time and money.
