Rheem water heater purchased from this outfit in March of 2019 is malfunctioning just 14 months later. I called them believing that the unit would still be under warranty and I was informed that the warranty on this $2,000.00 water heater was good for 12 months only. Furthermore, it would cost $400.00 to repair it.
I don't mean to imply that they are at fault, probably just a lemon.

After on and off heat waves, my old A/C wasn't cooling my house down like it used to. I ended up calling Bay Air HVAC to do the replacement. They were respectful the entire time and made sure to practice safety guidelines for COVID-19. It's been two weeks since then and we had another 100F heat wave during labor day weekend. My house stayed perfectly cool the entire weekend! I'm very satisfied with the new A/C and the work they did!

What I needed from BAY AIR HVAC Services, Inc. was to replace the floor furnace that heats the main rooms in my small home. My heater was so old that I wasn’t sure I’d find anyone who could do the job. Richard Aredo (owner) took one look at it, knew just the product required, and said he could have the new furnace in three days. He would widen the opening himself, without another contractor, and complete the installation in 2 to 3 hours; he’d installed one of these just last week. Not only was his estimate the most economical I’d gotten, Richard and his worker were the most efficient team I’d ever seen. They finished on time, though with a problem with a single regulator piece. Richard knows his products so well that he carries spare parts in his van, so he completed the job with just a short delay. The furnace fit perfectly and the house was spotless. I have total confidence in Richard Aredo!

These folks are great. We are in Quarantine at home with a broken/leaking water heater. It's frustrating! you start calling for service and nobody answer the phone due this coronavirus. I asked my sister if she knows somebody. She used Bay Air HVAC for a few of her needs and gave me their phone. I called them and the voice mail came on and said that they are closed, but leave the message and somebody will call back. So I did. A few minutes later I received a call back and I stated that I was referred. They said that were helping only to customers, but, they will book and come today later 2-4 pm. THEY CAME ON TIME and gave me and estimate with a senior discount and replaced the water heater within 3 hours. They saved me, my wife and 2 grandkids. I am very happy with the neat service done.

I called Bay Air HVAC Services and they were able to squeeze me into their schedule. I thought they would have to order the part and come another day like some repair companies do nowadays but their trucks are loaded with parts and they were able to do the repair on the spot! One month ago I had my heat pump (old) not working. I called 5 companies, after they look the unit, a few said the unit needs replacement because is too old. one company tried to repaired but couldn't. I asked ? how much the price will be for a new one. they said 9,500.00, 10k, 10,800 and even 15,000 for a high efficiency one.that was extremely too much for my budget. I used my options to call and ask my friends for a good referral. I was very lucky to do that. one of my friends highly recommendme BAY Air HVAC Services and to ask for Richard one of the senior techs in the company. I was feeling already better and made best hopes that they can repaired as my place was alway hot. I called them, they schedule an appointment for next day afternoon. I was anxious to the time to come through. Finally , they showed up. I got good impression with a beautiful truck with a sign company, 2 guys got out of truck wearing a uniform and looking clean (hard to see in this kind of industry). Richard introduced himself and gave me his company business card. I looked at it. and read this trustful words "Field Service specialist".
I felt confident that I was going to have good results. Richard ask me to show the units 'in attic and outside'. They asked me for 10 minutes to check and let me know what it has to be done. I mentioned them that I was a referral and want the unit to be repaired as possible. Richard the main tech was quick to diagnosis and after 8 minutes he told me the good news that can be repaired for 1,300.00 after 10 percent discount. without thinking , I said go ahead. They ordered the parts (special order) and come back 3 days later. in less than 2 hours the unit was working again until now. I am so happy! and feel lucky to find BAY AIR HVAC. definitely I will recommend Bay Air to people who needs good service and Knowledgeable techs. Also their office people were very patient and helpful in comparison to others or the worse answering machines. 5 stars are short for the whole service I got.

I have been working with Richard for last 4 years, whenever my clients have any HVAC questions or issues, he is the first one I call. He is always very responsive, on time, and find solution for the issue without breaking the bank. My client have a condo and the Heating system in on top of the building. To replace the unit, it would cost thousands of dollars. Richard found the parts, and was able to replace the interior instead of replacing the whole unit. Thanks again for all your help!

I was recommended by my neighbor so I called Bay Air HVAC for an estimate to replace a furnace. They came and were professional and knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I chose them and they were able to do the furnace replacement right then and there and kept everything clean and did good work. They also installed an air filter box free of charge so I can access the air filter much easier than before. I'm very happy with the service they provided!

I had two Carrier furnaces and a AC Carrier replaced. Not an easy job by any measure. Still, their team of technicians gave me a great discounted price for replacing the three HVAC units. They did great work and I will recommend them to my friends and family.

My 50 yr old heater stopped working. I called an HVAC company to see what is going wrong. A guy came and said, "your furnace is too old and huge." He mentioned that they don't work on these old units. He told to call somebody else. Finally, I called Bay Air HVAC services from San Carlos. They made an appointment for next day 2-4pm. 2 guys showed up on time. They looked professional and courteous. They looked at the unit and recommended me to replace it. Also, they gave me the estimate, in which it was within my budget. They gave me the schedule for 2 days after for a full day job. They came back and did what they had to do, cleaned the work area, tested the new unit, and showed me how to use it and become familiarized with it. They did an excellent job and my home gets warmed and makes comfortable for my whole family. Thank you guys!

We have worked with Richard and his team for over the last 5+ years. We have always been impressed by their work ethic, professionalism, fair prices and the quality of work performed. We have two AC units that manage the climate for our machine shop, when a unit is not working properly, it is imperative we are back up and running asap. Richard has always been very responsive, and is able to respond within 24 hours. Most recently, he gave us a heads up that one of our units would need to be replaced within the next two years, its this type of honesty, we very much appreciate.
