We called this company to fix a heating problem in the middle of the winter.

Their processes are long and inefficient (once the problem was identified, it took them 3 business day to just to send a quote).

Their communications were confusing and unclear, which caused delays and frustration on our family who was left without heating for an undefined period of time with no clear timeline.

I found their representatives on the phone rude and impacient, as they kept interrupting me when I was trying to ask questions.

I appreciated Omar's work ethic. He was very thorough and very professional. I would use Degree again only because of Omar. I was disappointed with the front office, I was quoted 165.00 for the work and my bill was 262.50. There needs to be more transparency regarding travel time from one job to the next. They don't tell you they charge for travel time upfront and then your bill is significantly more than they quoted over the phone.

Terrible initial call and follow up.
We scheduled an initial service call only to be called and harassed by the receptionist.
We choose our companies by service of all staff.
The process of scheduling and I tail contact was less than professional and I can only imagine what the service fills up would be like.

It would be nice to find a company where the staff understands the role each pint of constant plays.
This company apparently does not monitor its customer service reps that do Intake and as such they probably don’t realize how much business they miss.

We will find a better fit with a company that does.

The customer service I received was excellent from your technician . He was warm, polite and clearly skilled . My old heater gave us very bad news but he handled all the details of the potential for carbon monoxide poisoning incredibly well .

My question is how the billing is done and it is something they should be clear on the phone about because it was expensive.

Your technician could not have been more professional .

I reached out to Degree HVAC after the installation of a new HVAC system done by another contractor at my mom's home went very wrong. Before I even hired Degree, owner Rick Lazzarini generously spent an abundance of time with myself and the new asbestos contractor determining the best process to fix the situation we'd been left in. When it came time for the work to be done, the crew and Rick were incredibly communicative, thoughtful, delivering on every promise, prompt, professional, detail oriented, easy to work with, and highly skilled. From my first call in for service everything went smooth, polite, professional, knowledgeable people. I will use them always.

I called Degree on a Wednesday and scheduled an appointment for the following Monday (the earliest possibility, since it is a busy heating repair time of year). I got a call a few minutes later that an immediate slot had opened up due to a canceled appointment in a nearby location. Luckily, I was able to leave work and go home to meet the repair person 20 minutes later. Mano (the repair person) was already waiting for me. Mano was professional, efficient and friendly. It only took him 40 minutes to diagnose my furnace problem, crawl under my house and replace the ignitor. I was relieved that I didn't have to go without heat for the upcoming weekend and very satisfied with the work and prompt repair. The total repair bill was also reasonable. I'm a happy (and warm) camper.

The tech who came out did a fantastic job quickly and efficiently. He made sure all of the heat and A/C systems were communicating throughout the entire house. The issue I called him about was about warm circulating even after the heater was turned off. He quickly assessed the fan was left on and he switched it back to auto. I highly recommend Degree HVAC.

I called after reading some of the reviews of Degree HVAC and the history of the company. I needed help with determining the condition of water heater and other issues of our house in SF. I called and was immediately emailed an appointment date and it worked out. Then, Omar showed up and was professional, personable, answered my questions and was so pleasant. He was also incredibly knowledgeable and specific about the condition of the water heater, furnace, and whether or not we should have the ducts cleared. The majority of my decision was based on the website and ratings, review and A plus rating from the BBB. I rarely write these reviews and knew very quickly that this was a review I needed to post. I have used Degree HVAC for many years - they are fabulous! Even though they have grown substantially since I first engaged with them, I still feel "known" and well taken care of. Wonderful People; Wonderful Company. I would recommend them to anyone!

Same day appointment, incredibly experienced and kind tech named Omar and cold air blasting from every vent. Once again, Degree HVAC saves the day!

I've been a repeat customer of Degree HVAC, and they always come through for me. Due to a cancellation, Degree was able to send a technician to my home the same day that I called. Omar arrived during the designated window and got right to work. He diagnosed and replaced a failed part, keeping me informed along the way. He confirmed everything was operating properly, handled my payment easily, and was on his way. Excellent service!

They came to my house on short notice and diagnosed my furnace issue quickly. The service technician was very friendly and gave me detailed information about the problem. The only downside is that it took them 3 days to give me a quote for a new furnace and I had to go with someone else for the replacement.

Mano was great. He made certain to know what we wanted him to do and he efficiently got everything done, keeping the cost as low as possible. And we appreciated how he would wear covers on his shoes any time he was in the house. This was our second experience with Degree HVAC and the second time we were very happy with their performance.

These folks are responsive, professional and reliable. We had a non-emergency problem and were given an appointment a few days from our call. The next days, I received a call telling me their tech was in our area with time to pay a house call to assess our problem. The tech was highly experienced, thorough, courteous and solved our problem on the spot.

They did a fine job - had to come back with the right filter but got it done quickly!

HVAC has a very high standard of work and has highly skilled employees. They have recently installed a new Furnace and HW heater in my house. Both were completed in one day. The Furnace also required a new return duct under the house (big job). They provided the on site personnel with a dedicated supply and disposal person so they could remain focused on the installation and not have to run around looking for parts or disposing of the old ducting, etc.

They have been easy to work with and I have been impressed with their skill and work ethic. They checked their work as they went and made sure that all necessary tasks were successfully completed. Last they made sure that all necessary testing was done and final cleanup was completed.

They made sure the job was completed properly, no short cuts or inferior parts were used.

This HVAC company makes everything easy from start to finish. Scheduling is a breeze, and everyone I’ve interacted with has been friendly, professional, and easy to work with. The technicians are knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to answer all my questions. They not only fix the issue but also offer helpful suggestions to keep things running smoothly. It's rare to find a team this reliable and customer-focused!

Excessive charges. I would not recommend, they are very expensive. They had done work at my house in the past with my credit card present. Came back to do a new thermostat which was not present so returned and then charged me $600 to install the thermostat. They left after 10 minutes, and took 30 minutes to install the thermostat, so like $1000/hr charge?
