Careless driver on his cell phone slams into my car, my complaint to management resulted in her admission, the driver blamed me as cutting him off his lane (I was stopped completely in traffic) this company hires people with no morals or no sense of safety or accountability, the Manager Raquel was short and didnt want to listen about the workers bad judgement.

Why allow people like this work or come near your home?

I paid for an inspection and recommendations to repair any issues. I even met their technician and explained that I need a estimate to use towards possibly buying a property. They did the inspection and told me the issues but they refused to give me an estimate to repair. When I asked they said they couldn't give me an estimate because they didn't have the manpower to complete the job. After I asked them just for a soft estimate And that I wouldn't hope them to the job, they said they would need to have someone come back to do have another paid inspection to do the estimate. I found this to be very dishonest and I wasn't happy with the service I received in the end. I can't in good faith recommend this place.

Rick at Degree HVAC has always been super responsive and helpful. All of the employees that have come to my home have been respectful and knowledgeable. After installing my HVAC, they happily came back to optimize it to my needs. They were very kind about explaining things in a manner I could understand. I am very happy with the speed and professionalism of their service.

I have used Degree for many years to maintain and repair our boiler (home radiant heater). Their employees are always knowledgeable and do a good job of keeping the system working perfectly. The only negative is that they want to charge "travel time." I don't think I should have to pay for them to drive from miles away to my house. What if there is a two hour traffic jam, then I'm paying for them to sit in traffic? So I always have to arrange for them to come first thing in the morning thus avoiding travel time. For my other heater needs I use another company that does not charge travel time.

We had a furnace fail during the coldest week of 2025 - their tech CPU board had a short, their team found the part and it was repaired in less than a week. Given the crush of orders like mine - I was thrilled, impressed, and appreciative of their quick response and timely repair. Absolutely will recommend in the future.

I needed a check up and filter change for our 2 year old system. Getting an appointment was easy, the lady at the office was friendly and competent. Price was 220 dollars for 1 hour, the minimum, which was plenty of time for the job asked, and I agreed. The tech spent 30 min at our house, checked the system ( everything ok ), than told me, he does not have the filter ( we have a regular carrier system ) and has to come back. OK. But after talking to the office, I learned, they would charge another hour ( at 220 dollars ) and the price of the filter ( 150 dollars ), just to change it. I said no, checked online and did it myself. I spent 27 dollars for the filter, and it took me 15 minutes to change it, with absolutely no experience. That's 370 dollars vs 30 ( it's not my fault they did not have a common filter on the truck ). Will lock for somebody else next time ...

Didn't diagnose issue right and try to upsell right away. Wouldn't suggest this place to anyone.

Under NO circumstance should ANYONE use this service. They do not stand by their service and the owner is downright crazy.

I called this company at 3 pm, after not getting a call back from another company. My washer was repaired, at a reasonable price, by 6:15 pm. I would recommend this company to my friends.

They answer personally and came right away. Did a great job repairing our furnace and it works better than it ever has since we moved into the house. Highly recommend them.

I work in property management and I rely on Bay Air HVAC. I am never let down. They have rescued us when other vendors have not been able to complete work. They are fast, responsive and reasonable with pricing.

I called this company requesting someone come out to check out my AC. Matthew said Richard would be out between 1-3. I took the afternoon off work. At 3:00, he still hasn’t arrived. Matthew calls me, says he’s running behind, will arrive at 4:30. Needless to say, he never showed up or called. I called Gladys, cancelled my request, said I can find another company more reliable who wants my business.

Seems like they are trying to overcharge for everything. "$95 is only a house call and to 'look' at the A/C"... Though the office said it is to diagnose the problem (which they didn't), so I refused to pay more than what the office said. To add a C-wire they quoted $500 (the system worked just fine without for many years, so not sure why they wanted to add)... Not a customer friendly business, would not recommend.

Technician came promptly and found that the A/C need 2 small parts (Capacitor and booster), said that the complete repair would cost $ 440, but he did not have all the parts with him. He then checked on his truck and found the 2 parts and replaced so that the A/C was working well. He then wrote up a bill charging for the 2 parts $ 248 and for the labor $ 300, making a total bill of $ 550. He stayed at our house less than one hour, and I found that the 2 parts cost in retail store $ 30.
Complete fraud -- will never call this firm again.

Our heating system stopped working in February and Bay Air charged us $150 to do the diagnostics and consequently charged us another $500 to fix the problem. The unit worked for a month and stopped working again and they refused to come and address the problem even though their invoice grantees the work for 60 days. we are reporting them to consumer protection.

These folks seem to charge > 1000% markup.

I had the same experience as one of the other reviewers. They came and had a look, and told me that I needed to replace my inducer motor. Without even needing to consult a catalog, they quoted $1080, and gave me a $100 discount. When I asked why it was so expensive, they told me that it was about $500 for the part and $500 for labor because it was very labor intensive. They told me they would have to come back the next day because it is a very old model and they didn't have the part, but then they realized that they did indeed have the part in the truck and could do it right away.

They took the inducer assembly down and started to replace the motor. While they were doing that, I googled around and saw that the motor costs about $35 online, and the whole inducer assembly about $175 (they were charging me $500 to put the motor into that assembly). I watched what they were doing, and there was at most 30 minutes of work (except that one of the screws was jammed so they couldn't get the assembly apart). I confronted them with the prices they had found and they put my hardware back in place and left with only the cost of the service fee. They also completely changed the cost breakdown after I confronted them with the online price.

I really felt like they were out to milk me. At this point I'm not even confident that the parts needed changing. They might do good work prompt work, but their labor and parts rates are through the roof.

They came the same day after calling for service. They were very professional, friendly, communicative, and worked quickly & neatly. After discussing further work, they returned the following day and completed the project at the price quoted. I would highly recommend Bay Air HVAC Services!
