We had hired a handy man to change out some lights and we were taught a lesson if you have an electrical job to be done have a licensed Electrician to do the job. Julian was sent to us by Steve Carter Electric and was efficient and professional. He diagnosed the problem right away and fixed it properly. We strongly recommend Steve Carter Electric for any type of electrical needs.

We had a critical injury due to work done by Steve Carter Electric. They charged us nearly $1,000 for work to install just 3 outdoor lights with faulty wiring. The work was done while we were out of town. When we returned home, someone was electrocuted by the exposed wires left in the open. No one from Steve Electric has returned our multiple phone calls and we wish they would just call us to resolve the complaint. Very disappointing to be treated this way by someone in our own community.

This is the second time I call Steve Carter Electric. Barbara was very pleasant and helped coordinate the visit. The electricians were also very pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. They repaired the lights that were not working in the house. My husband and I were pleased with their work.

Such a great customer service experience. My elderly mom moved into a new place this week and on the first night a few of the lights turned off and she had no power her first night. We reset the circuit breakers - but on the second night same thing happened - her lights turned off randomly. I called a few companies and they were all booked until after Christmas. Barbara moved heaven and earth to accommodate us and got a crew out to fix the problem in the same day. Barbara and the crew that came to fix the issue both exceeded our expectations and really gave us the best customer experience. Thank you!

If I could give more stars, I would. Everyone in their office and crew are friendly, responsive, timely, efficient and highly skilled. Prices are very competitive. They are honest, trustworthy and dependable. They have informed me of more cost effective options that I never would have considered. I've used them multiple times for a variety of jobs. They have added extra safety measures since COVID and always come to the job with masks. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Highly highly recommend.

For the past 6 years, whenever I need any electrical work done, Steve Carter Electric is the company I rely on. Steve and his entire team take pride in making sure the job is done right. Easy to schedule, the crew shows up on time and does a first class job. So nice to do business with a company that does exactly what they say they will do, and charges fairly for that work.

We've been wanting to put a ceiling fan and light in our den but no power in the ceiling and no attic space to work in. We were putting the work off as estimates ranged from $650 (we already had the fan) or "$59.00 to come out and tell you how much", or "..it depends, I won't know till I get there". Found Steve Carter Electric and called and left a message. I figured with C 19, it would be a while. I heard from Steve within an hour, sent him couple of photos and by the end of the day (actually faster than promised) I had an itemized estimate, which was almost a couple of hundred dollars below the lowest quote we had to date. Steve was polite and professional on the phone.

I accepted the quote by return email and soon Barbara, Steve's wife, called to see what would be a convenient time for an appointment. Again, very nice and pleasant to speak with. Unfortunately so rare anymore in the world of automatic operators and dialing extensions to speak to another machine.

Gary and Cory showed up and from the start I knew we were in good hands. They were clean (wore masks for C19 protection), knew what they were doing and explain everything that needed to be done. They chose an option that minimized the areas where wall and ceiling had to be opened up, even though that option was most time consuming. The job was done perfectly and they cleaned up after themselves very well. Left saying that someone from the office would contact us about payment. I really value that old fashion trust and relationship builder. Like living in a small town again. Barbara called a bit later and we settled up over the phone. My wife and I were so pleased we asked for an estimate on another electrical project on our outside deck. We had the numbers back in couple of hours and will have it done in the near future. I would not go anywhere else for all my electrical needs. They also do outdoor landscaping lighting, I have a feeling we will be seeing them again and again before the summer.

Just had two 8 Foot LED lights installed in our garage. Company is very professional - responsive, excellent communication, on time, efficient, and resulting in one happy customer. Would use again and whole heartedly recommend Steve Carter Electric.

Just moved to a house in San Clemente - needed a lot of work. Hired this company after reading a money-mailer ad. Very responsive, professional, courteous. Cleaned up well. Wonderful to work with. Flexible on handling many small changes in what we wanted. Excellent at suggesting things to consider that we were not aware of. Found and fixed several problems related to GFI outlets, loose junction boxes, etc. Really great experience.

I had four light switches not working. Electricians arrived early (which was very nice), both were polite, efficient, and professional. One light switch was repaired, and one light fixture was re-seated. The other two fixtures need replacing, which I can do in the next few weeks. I am very pleased with Steve Carter Electric and will use and recommend in the future.

Needed several electrical projects done around the house, came out and did a free inspection to give me a quote. Got quote and approved it and set up repair day but then they were able to get to me earlier. Got all work done correctly in one day with no problems. Office staff and electrician who did the work were all nice to deal with and professional. 1st time I’ve used an electrician after being in my condo for about 25 years and very pleased.

Wow! We are so happy with the work Steve Carter has done for us. Our team today was Johnny, Ken and Bob. We needed two ceiling fans installed (where none previously existed). They did a great job! I love my ceiling fans! We also had two LED recessed lights added to my very dark laundry room. What an improvement! An additional job they completed for us is the outdoor fountain timer. It has not worked since we moved in a few months ago and originally installed not to code, with exposed wires and such. They fixed it in no time. It's so nice to hear the fountain!

We were in a tight schedule to relocate some outlets and conduits. Steve and his team were available within a few days after I called. They're not the cheapest but I couldn't wait, and their prices are not the highest either. The quality of work completed by Charles was very high, and he was a pleasure to work with.
