Steve Carter Electric is clearly an outstanding company committed to providing exceptional service. The owner, Steve, took great care and time in providing us with a thorough initial
walk-through and very fair estimate for the replacement of a bathroom fan and various switches, as well as installation of a new smoke and CO detectors and new vanity lighting and ceiling fans. His wife, Barbara, is absolutely wonderful to work with in terms of scheduling, flexibility, and overall communication. The electrician, Calvin, and his assistant, Jeremy, arrived on time, worked with great care and obvious knowledge, finished the jobs in a timely manner, and even demonstrated concern for keeping our cat as calm as possible by not prolonging the testing of the new smoke detectors any more than necessary, which was much appreciated! Without question, we would hire Steve Carter Electric again for any future electrical needs in our home.

We had recessed lights in the entrance area and the dining room and we wanted chandeliers in their place. Calvin and Steve did a great job installing both fixtures. They were careful to cover my table and floors with padded tarps to protect them. They also wore shoe covers and face masks. They did and awesome job! Barbara the office manager was very helpful in walking me through the invoice/pay email. We highly recommend Steve Carter Electric!

A technician from Steve Carter Electric came out to our property to help troubleshoot a few issues with switches and outlets. Brent was on time/early and very professional. Price and rates were worth the quality of work. 10/10 would recommend.

When it was time to do more work, I didn’t think of anyone else and immediately called Barbara with Steve Carter Electric to discuss and potentially schedule the work. We wanted to clean up and update some wiring in the patio as well as install a j box for a ceiling fan. It wasn’t urgent so I thought I would call to get it on the books. Not only were they able to schedule within 24 hours but they were on time, professional and overall did a great job…again! Julian was very pleasant to work with and he listened to our needs. Needed an emergency repair as I was going out of town right before a holiday and didn't want to have the fear of an electrical fire hanging over my head. (Many of the electricians I called were actually closed for a 2-week period over the holidays). I called Steve Carter electric at noon and by 2:00 p.m. had a technician waiting at my house. The job was more complicated than I anticipated but within 2 hours the job was completed. Very organized and professional! Highly recommended!

After receiving an obscene quote to wire up 8 outlets on my newly installed cook islands, I called Steve Carter Electric. It was a rush as we were trying to complete this work before the tile was installed & I only gave SCE one day to turn this around.

Barbara was great and worked with me to get me on the schedule the next day on a time and materials quote. She said they would be there at 10:00

I received a call at 9:45, Julian was on his way and arrived at 10:00 and got straight to work. The electrical work was straightforward but the locations were tricky and required a bit of flexibility.

Work was completed professionally and Julian demonstrated that everything was working properly.

Regarding the pictures, this is one of the cook islands and yes, a grown man did crawl into that space to wire the electric

foreman Rocky did an excellent job on our fourth project with Steve. Carter were out of town. Contractors didn’t know who to trust Steve Carter came in whether it was hourly or flat rate and continues to be the exception to the rule. I can refer him to my clients without any funny business

I needed light fixture replaced in a very hard to reach area. No problem for Steve! He called when he said he would. He showed up promptly as scheduled. He did an awesome job! So happy with the results.
