I’m highly impressed with the attention to detail with Julio at Cutting Edge Restoration. Not only has this company helped me, I’ve also watched this company help many of my friends. If you own a plumbing company in San Diego this is a GREAT company that helps plumbers with customers that have Flood & Water Damage. I own a company called Strictly Plumbers and I highly recommend Cutting Edge Restoration.

Cutting Edge Restoration is an outstanding company to work with. They worked closely with our insurance company, USAA, to provide timely and superior service, and ensured our home was restored after we had a flood that affected 4 rooms.

Having a water leak is probably one of the worst headaches that homeowners experience, and Cutting Edge make the work of cleaning up the mess and rebuilding what was ruined as painless as such an unpleasant process can be. Everyone we worked with was friendly and professional, and the costs are reasonable and fair. If I have the misfortune of this episode repeating, I will certainly call them.

I had some flooding in my crawlspace that needed to be cleaned before the plumber could access my problem. The plumbing company suggested Cutting Edge to do the clean up. I am very happy they did. Sleiman and his assistant were at my house early and jumped into the clean up right away. It was obvious from the start that Sleiman was extremely experienced and know what he was doing. After keeping me informed throughout the the entire process he provided pictures and a clear explanation of my situation. The results were above and beyond my expectations and I would definitely recommend Cutting Edge to perform this type of work, especially Sleiman.

My wife and I experienced a large plumbing issue in our home. We were referred to Cutting Edge Restoration and we are so glad we were. Sleiman was professional and took so much time explaining what he was going to do or had done. He went out of his way to make sure we understood what was happening and that our concerns were addressed. I would absolutely refer or reuse Cutting Edge Restoration!

On September 2, 2023, a rare tropical storm brought 10 hours of rain to our house in San Diego and exposed a previously unknown roof leak. The water that came through this roof leak flooded our Master Bedroom, as well as coming through the ceiling and walls in the Master Bathroom, Laundry Room, Hallway, and under the floorboards into the Living Room through the hallway.

I routinely see Cutting Edge Restoration trucks and vans traveling along the I-15, and remembering that they advertised mold & mildew mitigation as well as restoration from water damage (my primary concern as water was pouring through my ceiling on a Friday afternoon after 5 pm), I gave them a call. I wish I could remember the name of the nice lady who took my call. She was genuinely concerned about what was going on to include the fact that my wife has severe asthma & respiratory issues, took down my information, and eased my mind as she let us know that help was on the way.

During the mitigation phase, Travis came out to assess the water damage. He was very professional, friendly, and easy to talk to during this troubling time. He used equipment to measure where the water came through the ceiling, walls, floorboards, our bathroom vanity, etc. to determine where he would need to start mitigiation and what he would need to do it. As he deployed multiple blowers and de-humidifiers that night, we knew that we were going to be able to sleep well knowing that he had a least contained the water damage. Travis came back the next day, and a few times after that checking equipment, checking on the progress of the mitigation, and providing us with our next steps.

During the reconstruction phase, Larry, did an excellent job of communicating via text and phone daily while scheduling the repairs, coordinating supplies, and taking our input for what was needed during the restoration; often at night and after normal working hours to ensure we were taken care of. He was very responsive and answered all the questions we had. He even provided an industrial grade air purifier to remove all of the dust & construction particles from the air because our older children were still living in the unaffected bedrooms in the house (and because the kitchen was completely unaffected, we couldn't cover them under "Loss of Use;" so they had to keep living in the house with all of the reconstruction going on). Also, during this phase, our insurance initially low-balled us severely, was dragging their feet with their approval process as additional water damage that could not be seen until you opened up the walls, ceiling, and floor was identified in a supplemental repair estimate sent back through our insurance. Daniel & Larry did an excellent job of keeping up with the communication with them, always answered all my questions with a friendly and positive manner, and patiently worked with the insurance company for 3 months until all issues were worked through with the insurance company and a final approval to begin work was finally completed. It should be noted that all issues that were initially identified by our insurance company with Cutting Edge Restoration's estimate were all found to be correct by Cutting Edge. Our insurance company even disputed their finding of our carpet being "premium" quality, which later bore out as premium carpet through a lab test!
I also want to mention that their floor guys were outstanding!

I hope we never experience another loss from water, or any other related event where we’ll need them, but if we do, then we know who to call. If any of our friends have a water/mold/mildew, fire, or weather related event that damages their home, we're going to give them Cutting Edge Restoration's number.

Just prior to Thanksgiving, I noticed a leak in the ceiling of our garage. At the advice of our plumber I called Cutting Edge Restoration to perform a leak detection service. The day after the holiday, the company sent Sleiman, a mitigation manager, to assess the situation . He quickly detected the cause of the problem and moved quickly to get someone on site to remedy the situation. I am sure this was no easy task, given that it was the Friday after the holiday.

My whole experience with Cutting Edge has been terrific. Geness, who works in customer service/dispatch, was extremely helpful and on top of things. Jose, the project manager, and his team completed the job in a timely manner and did so with quality. I can honestly say that things were put back together in better shape than they were prior to the leak. Finally, I need to also thank Anna for being on top of the reconstruction process. All members of the team were easy to work with, pleasant, and professional.

Although I hope that I never have to go through such a situation again, if I am ever faced with a situation in need of restoration, I will not hesitate to call Cutting Edge. Thank you Cutting Edge for making a difficult situation manageable.

I had a mold issue due to a leak near my laundry area. Drew, my Point of Contact (POC) from Cutting Edge, came out with Plumbing Tree to help with the mold issue. (Plumbing Tree to fix the laundry line, but Cutting Edge for the mold) Drew ended up discovering moisture in not just the wall closest to the laundry unit, but also a few of the surrounding walls. Immediately, he brought in a dehumidifier to start the drying process, without having secured my business. I checked with HOA's mold mitigation team, which came in at a lower price. I passed the quote to Drew, who quickly realized that the dehumidifier had dried up a lot of the moisture. With this new info, Cutting Edge actually came in under the other team, so I decided to go with Drew & Cutting Edge. Throughout the whole process, Drew kept me up-to-date on what was happening. He and his crew were able to accommodate the tight schedule and even left up the zip-walls for the reconstruction crew.

Cutting Edge Restoration was amazing! They were recommended by a plumber that came take a look at a pipe that was leaking from our water heater. Their technician Andrew Rivers "Drew" was amazing! Professional and know what he is doing! Explained everything that needs to be done to restore our damage walls.

Cutting Edge Restoration is the real deal! I had an issue with my place, and these guys were on it. What blew me away was how honest they were about what needed fixing. The guy took his time, checked everything out, and could've easily charged me for stuff I didn't need. But nope, he was straight-up honest.

I really appreciated that. In an industry where some folks try to pull a fast one on you, it was refreshing to have someone who just wanted to fix what actually needed fixing. It's like a breath of fresh air.

I'm definitely sticking with Cutting Edge Restoration for any future problems. When you find honest folks like them, you stick with them. Can't recommend them enough – if you've got an issue, these are the guys to call. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

We recently had a leak from our upstairs bathroom that showed in a water mark in our downstairs ceiling. I called Primo Plumbing and Mike referred me to Cutting Edge to have the area checked for water damage. He explained the area may need to be dried out to avoid a mold problem. He stated he has been working with Cutting Edge for several years and they were very good. I called Cutting Edge and made an appointment for that day. The tech, Sleiman Chacra, arrived right on time and the entire experience that day was great. He was very professional and very thorough. He took the time to show me where our leak was and we found we were lucky enough to learn we caught this leak before it could do any damage to the ceiling other than a single small hole. Sleiman prepped the ceiling and called Mike at Primo to tell him the ceiling was open and ready. Sleiman was meticulous about 'tenting' the area to avoid dust and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. He was honest with me about pricing which was reasonable given the work would have to be done by someone. It was refreshing to deal with someone who enjoys their job and takes pride in it. I will use Cutting Edge for any further Restoration services and will happily refer them to anyone who asks. They are coming tomorrow to close up the hole in the ceiling and get us back to 'normal'. Thank you Cutting Edge.
I also have to compliment Geness. She answered my call for the follow-up repairs and was very pleasant and took personal responsibility for making sure someone got right back with me. She obviously takes pride in her work and only further sold me on this company.

Our upstairs toilet leaked overnight into the downstairs bathroom. We called a plumber to detect the source of the leak. He told us to contact Cutting Edge Restoration. Drew arrived within the hour. He was knowledgeable, thoughtful, and easy to work with. Drew was punctual and continued to check on the work until the problem was resolved. I will definitely recommend Cutting Edge Restoration company.

This business is definitely one of the most dishonest ones I have dealt with in a very long time. At first they were very nice and friendly, reassured me that what they do INS covers (turns out it doesn't), charged me high fees for two different jobs in May 2023: one for water Mitigation and other for Reconstruction. They work as two separate entities but I am convinced they work together, overcharge uninformed people and share the profit. Their agreement is also very savvy, and you don't expect the worst to happen. After the work was all done and paid for, they sent me a new bill for over $1,900 - 8 months later! At first I thought it was a bill with late fees since they didn't cash my check for months (in May 2024!). I addressed it with them but they are still very aggressive asking for a payment that I was charged months after the job was done. I am not paying for it. Filing a complaint and leaving reviews so people don't get scammed by Cutting Edge Restoration.

I am so thankful to have found Cutting Edge for my kitchen restoration! I had a flooded disaster and the process has been wonderful with them. Alfonzo, my technician, was very personable and professional and I felt comfortable and confident with him there. Geness kept me updated on the process every step of the way and worked with my insurance to make sure I didn’t have to do a thing. I even had a drip coming from a pipe and they had a plumber come to check it out within 15 minutes. They know what they’re doing and I can’t recommend them enough!

I had the unfortunate luck of having to going through a couple water related repairs (copper pipe leak) in span of a year. I was recommended Cutting Edge Restoration by our plumber and so thankful they did. In each instance, the crew was very professional, on-time, communicated well and often.

During the mitigation phase, Sleiman and Junior came out to assess the water damage. They were very friendly and easy to talk to making this what would be a stressful situation, a whole lot easier and giving me piece of mind.

During the reconstruction phase, Luis, did an excellent job of communicating via text and phone of scheduling the repairs. He was very responsive and answered all the questions I had. Also, during this phase, my insurance was being a bit slow with their approval process. Edie did an excellent job of keeping up with the communication with them and always answered all my questions with a friendly and positive manner.

I wouldn’t hesitate one bit to recommend them to family and friends! I hope I never have to go through another water related event where I’ll need them, but if I do, then I know I’ll be taken care of. Thank you Cutting Edge Restoration!

Our roof was leaking and Cutting Edge Restoration came out and recommended an asbestos test first. When we were done with that, they cut a hole in our ceiling and contained the hole perfectly so we could identify the leak's origin and fix our roof. Customer service and follow up is excellent with this company. And more importantly, their quality of work is above and beyond what my wife and I could have ever expected. So glad we chose to do our project with them!

After having our master bathroom flood due to our clogged sewer line backing-up, the plumbing co. we called for help recommended Cutting Edge Restoration and we're very glad they did. The mitigation mgr (Daniel) was professional and explained the process thoroughly, working with our home owners insurance adjuster. Tom handled the restoration process for the bathroom floor and we could not be happier with the final results. The work crew was professional and hard-working, they did a wonderful job installing the new flooring and baseboards, painting, and even fixed a loose towel rack which wasn't part of their job list. And they cleaned-up thoroughly when the work was complete. We'd also like to thank Rayna at the Cutting Edge office for her help and professionalism, she was courteous and very nice to work with.

Cutting Edge Restoration did a wonderful job rebuilding my bathroom after an extensive leak from the bathroom on the floor above. They quoted a reasonable price, gave me an estimated timeline that they stuck too, other than minor supply chain issues not caused by them. The workmen were profession and kept the work surrounds as neat as possible. Work was done within the budget and I have been using the bathroom, including a large fertile shower and could not be happier. If you use this company you will not regret it.

Jr and his team were extremely patient and very helpful. They were always reachable and we communicated very well. They listened to all my needs and gave me a lot of good advice. All their workers were very friendly and completed each job professionally. Cutting Edge is a wonderful restoration company.
