We have done a lot of remodeling over the years on different houses and properties but this experience with Designs 4 You has been among the best we have ever had.

Our current project was a four bathroom remodel including a master bathroom which required complete demolition to the studs, resizing windows, and a complete re-imagining of the interior and exterior space.

I attribute the success of our project primarily to Adaya, our project manager. She was not the first to bid for the project but she was definitely the last. She immediately grasped not only what we were hoping for but also exactly what needed to done. It did not take long to know we were in good hands.

After that, she took care of everything, which eliminated much of the stress of a big remodel. She connected us to a great designer (Hila Designs) who provided us with the perfect design and finish recommendations. The whole process was quick and enjoyable.

Construction phase is never easy but Adaya’s team was amazing, especially Eddie who oversaw the hard work. We valued his input on every aspect of the project.

Five stars for Designs 4 You but if you are lucky enough to get Adaya, Hila, and Eddie on your project you will not be disappointed.

I decided to redo my backyard. It was fine, but the existing retaining wall had water damage, and there was a shed that I wasn't getting any use out of. The artificial turf was also not the greatest quality, and got really hot in the summer. Olivia and Dorian were my project managers, and after some communication issues, Olivia was great about keeping me updated. The project included demolition, regrading such that water drained correctly, ground compaction for hardscape, excavating for the new retaining walls, new walls, paver install, turf install, and DG install. I even got lights to install into the retaining wall for added benefit at night. All in all, the work got done well and was reasonably priced. Olivia was great to bounce ideas off of and had an eye for style that matched strongly with my own. She was able to help me with a design based on my vague requirement that it be simple and easy to maintain. Overall, I'm happy with my new yard, and the process overall. She even gave me some ideas and tips for future projects when I talked to her about what I would like to get done. Even if it wasn't with Designs4You, she had recommendations on products I could try or ways I could space out the work so it wasn't overwhelming. Only thing I would change is making sure communication was crisp throughout the process to avoid any possible misunderstanding, especially if the project managers are juggling a lot of jobs.

The backyard of our 1950's home was in desparate need of an update. Our original retaining wall had seen better days. Our fence needed replacing and in some areas it was just chain link. We also had an outdoor shed that needed a complete gut to make it into a usable part of the yard. We had very specific ideas of what we wanted. The team at Designs 4 You headed by Seth and Liam were able to take our ideas and turn them into a reality. Henry, the project foreman managed multiple crews who specialized in the various aspects of our project. We are beyond happy with the finished result. We could not have done it without this incredible team.

I'm giving a 5 Star review to Designs 4 You for thier superb work, great quality and communiccation in completing our backyard project! We had a 30 year old brick and white porcelin tile barbecue island and a 20 year old gazebo. The dated step up platform was an eye sore as well. Roni and Liam, project managers, Henry, the foreman and the entire team transformed our backyard to our dream bbackyard.😍 The pavers, concrete island and matching retaining wall stucco color is a game changer! The iisland has two GFi outlets installed to perfectiion!! The team arrived every morning ready to work and cleaned up every afternoon before they left! Roni and Liam constantly checked on the job daily. I can not forget to mention the ease of the association process, payments, the city permit, receipts, and all of the administrative work that happened behind the scenes!!! Daniela, YOU ROCK!! Thank you for taking care of ALL of the paperwork and making our lives easy! You are too kind❤️

Designs 4 You exceeded our expectations with a complete backyard remodel that transformed our outdoor space beautifully. From start to finish, the team was professional, efficient, and attentive to our needs. We’re so happy with how our backyard turned out! The lighting completely transformed the space, it feels warm, inviting, and gives the yard a modern, resort-like vibe. The way the lights highlight the plants and cast shadows on the fence looks amazing at night.

Alex with Red's Gardening is a great young guy who really cares about what he's doing. I found him to be reliable, detail oriented, and reasonably priced. He's also easy going and professional. Unlike most of everyone else, Alex knows some select secrets about plants and is always researching and improving his game to offer clients more of a boutique experience.

I was recently fortunate enough to have Alex trim our massive, out of control, severely neglected split leaf Philodendron, and he was truly amazing. I have to admit, I was quite embarrassed at how bad we let it overgrow, but Alex was incredibly kind, professional and made sure to ask what we wanted to accomplish with the trim and even spent extra time giving us tips on how to care for it in the future. It’s obvious that Alex has a true passion for gardening and is eager to share his knowledge with others. Also, he works really fast while also providing attention to detail in his work! We were super impressed with Alex’s expertise and genuine love for gardening, I can’t recommend Red’s Gardening Co. enough!

Leigh and her company were wonderful to work with start to finish. She came highly recommended by my father-in-law, where she transformed his La Jolla backyard. We used her company for a full backyard landscape design and build. She stayed in our budget, over exceeded our design expectations and I can honestly say we have the best looking backyard on our street. We also had Leigh and her team do a clean up of our backyard/front yard on our rental property. Replace plants, remulch, etc. Again- everything looked fantastic, she got it done in a day and her prices were more than fair.
Look no further and put your trust in this company, they will not disappoint.

Leigh Watson has a fully staffed landscaping team. Leigh was very knowledgeable about native plants and landscaping and made my backyard beautiful with all my requests fulfilled. Her team got my huge rain barrel connected to an irrigation hose, planted 70 native species plants, installed flagstone, installed a gravel path all in three days. The price was reasonable and I will be able to get the California turf replacement rebate as well. Couldn’t be happier.

I highly recommend L. Watson Design & Co. Our house sits atop a slope that is quite steep in places and we were having problems with mud and debris washing onto the neighbors' patio below. The owner, Leigh, worked up a plan consisting of native plantings and terracing with drainage. The price was reasonable and we found Leigh and her crew to be knowledgeable, skilled, professional, and responsive. The job was completed within the expected time frame and they did everything they could to be responsive and unobtrusive during the work. It was quite a big job but they clearly knew what they were doing and we're very happy with the result. We are so glad to have found this company. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Do NOT hire this company for any work, for personal or professional properties. This company caused severe damage to my windshield months ago during a landscaping job and has repeatedly ignored my requests for resolution. If your property means anything to you, and you don’t want to pay hundreds dollars for repairs for damage they cause, I would hire elsewhere.

After 2 years with working with other contractors, Dan found the source of the leaks in my ADU and was able to resolve the issue. He and his team had to perform the work on my neighbor’s property and she was happy with how respectful they were of her yard. They completed the work sooner than the estimate. Overall great job! Also kudos to Francisco and h his team.

Everything from meeting with Dave Eaton to discuss the job and having Thomas and his crew completing it in four days was professional and easy. I was so impressed with how prompt, diligent and meticulous the work was completed by the crew. The finished product is beautiful and amazing! I would highly recommend this company. You would be hiring skilled, competent and talented workers. As a bonus, they are also extremely nice.
