I have worked with Laurence Kolb Electric for years. Laurence has always been thorough and accurate and has been able to take care of my home electrical needs and provide additional guidance beyond repairs.

HONEST AND HELPFUL. I called about a damaged wire inside an interior wall. I think that 99.99% of all electrical contractors would have immediately set up an appointment for a visit by an electrician. Instead, Electricians San Diego asked me very specific questions and also had me text them a picture of the wires. We spent at least 10 minutes on the phone. They clearly described the issue and told me I could easily fix it myself! A company that does not seem to want to gouge you and in fact takes time to help for free? Amazing. So even though I have not met them, I plan to use them for any electrical issue I may have.

After calling him for help with a power outage, he responded immediately, but couldn't come out due to his schedule. However, he provided consulting expertise on what to do despite not being on the clock. In fact, he followed up later to see how things worked out after recommending calling SDG&E to have them address the issue first. Called up Lawrence when I was doing some DIY and happened to blow out the power to my garage. He came over within a half hour of taking my call and I had to show him my "handiwork". Had a nice piece of humble pie. He fixed my mess, told me exactly what I did wrong and what actually caused the outage. After fixing the issue he gave me a few pro tips so I can replace the rest of my outlets without having the same issue again. Even offered to take any followup questions I may have over the phone. Definitely would hire them again and probably will when I blow up the next thing.
