I would recommend Laurence Kolb to anyone interested in having a perfect lighting/electrical experience. I found Laurence online and contacted him. We arranged a time when he could look over the lights I wanted to install. He was prompt and courteous. After choosing the fixtures I wanted, we found they wouldn't work for the situation I had with an older house/electrical, so we texted and spoke several times to make sure I could find what would work. I love my lights, but the best part was Laurence's straight forward explanations of what would work and why. No corners cut; expert. patient advice and counsel. I will request his help again when I'm ready for the next project.

My husband and I moved from L.A. to the San Diego area with worry that we wouldn't find the right electrician to work with us during our remodel. We looked up Electricians San Diego and feel so blessed we did as our house is a gorgeous piece of art work now that the lighting design has been fully implemented. THANK YOU! He not only did exactly what we wanted, he gave us many more ideas we never even thought of and it's amazing. We appreciate his attention to detail, expertise and also a funny sense of humor while we were going through a remodel, which is of course a major headache! We will be using Laurence for our guest house project coming up soon. Nice to now know a trustworthy local electrician close by...we also referred a friend to him for a quick job and they said he was was fast and to the point fixing whatever it was they had needed.

Laurence was extremely helpful, professional and prompt. Could not have asked for better help. Our kitchen outlets were out (including the fridge). Fixed very quickly which was a relief because we were concerned about our food going bad. Highly recommend!

Last week Manny, from Green Electric Solutions came out to check my two smoke detectors. He determined they needed to be replaced, and fortunately he had 2 new ones in his truck. He installed both in a short amount of time, they are working so I do not need to worry. Thanks Manny.

We hired this electrician company to help us repair our circuit breaker panel. Something had tripped and we weren't sure what was the matter because everything appeared normal but the power wasn't working. Green electric came out that very same day and helped us fix our issue, which turned out to be an electrical wiring issue. While they were there we also asked them to upgrade our electrical panel, because ours was severely outdated and we had safety concerns with using an old electrical panel. Before we hired green electric we called 4 other san diego electrician companies but green electric gave us the most affordable quote. We definitely plan on using this company again in the future!

From installing ceiling fans, lights and new outlets - both indoor and out - rewiring and most recently PROPERLY grounding my cable line, Green Electric is the go-to company for my house. They showed up on time, prepared to do the job right. I highly recommend him to anyone needing help with their electrical issues or projects.

I hired this company to upgrade my main circuit breaker panel coming into the house. The electrician replaced my old panel, but left a hole in my exterior wall because the new panel did not completely cover the old hole where the old panel was. He sealed around the panel with a sealant, but what good is that when there is over 12 inches completely exposed with a gap about an inch wide into my wall. To make matters worse, he installed a grounding rod in my cement in the back of my house about 10 feet from the panel in a walkway where someone could trip on the stake and potentially get hurt. In doing so, he broke a wire which was part of an electronic dog fence, which prevents my dog from escaping the back yard. I would not have been angry about this if he had simply told me so that the stake could be relocated. Instead, he heard the alarm which activated to alert me that the line had a break, and went in my garage and unplugged the main device to silence the alarm and did not tell me about it at all. I only discovered this after finding my dog running around the neighborhood and troubleshooting my electronic fence system. When I found it and plugged in back in, the loud alarm sounded and I was able to deduce what had occurred. When I called the company to complain and request that they relocate the grounding stake, they only dodged my request and told me that they had to have the technician contact me, which he never did.

I will never do business with this company again. It is not just the one technician who failed to show any concern for my interests, but the customer service, who blew off my complaints and repeatedly told me they could not do anything but contact the technician. These people will just take your money and not stand behind their product.

We had lighting issue. Contacted Green Electric Solutions which was very responsive. They were able to schedule for the same day. They came and saw that the entire light fixture is a mess, and suggested to replace it. They did a professional job and charged a fair price.

After reviewing all the comments from google (4.4 with 41 reviews) and yelp (4.5 with 73 reviews), I called Green Electric Solutions on this last Sunday afternoon (Oct. 6, 2019) due to our closet's two ceiling lights' ballast out and one cam light out (I have already tried to put brand new light bulbs but they do not work). Richard answered the phone right away and scheduled a technician (with Green Electric Solutions logo on the car) to visit us on Monday (Oct. 7, 2019) at 8:00. So far so good.

On Monday morning around 7:30, the office lady called me and said the technician will be arrived at 8:00. Wow! what a great company they are, can’t be go wrong, right?

At 8 o’clock the tech did not show up. I waited, and waited. Now the time is 8:15. Let me give the office a call to see where he is. The lady asked me to hold while she is calling the tech and told me he stuck on the traffic and will be arrived in another 20 minutes. Sure, I told my wife to wait and I left to work.

Around 8:40, finally the tech has arrived with his truck. My wife asked did you stuck on the traffic, No, he said his truck got broken down. (Not the traffic?)

Okay. My wife shown him where the lights are. Without ANY electrically diagnose, he spited out "$399 for each of the ceiling light and $499 for the cam light". He then went to the main panel (outside the house) and asked where the second panel is. My wife can’t remember. You know what he said? “I can look for it BUT I need to charge you.” My wife replied right away, “No, I don’t need you”.

I am so happy with the job and feel obligated to share my amazing experience with Green Electric Solutions. They were very professional and efficient. They followed up with me to make sure I'm satisfied and was very responsive to any question and concerns I had. I highly recommend this company and I will definitely hire them again for any electrical need I have.

I was so pleased with Green Electric Solutions! I had a frustrating attempt with another local company and decided to give GES a call. Within 2 hours of my call, the technician had responded, assessed and repaired the issue. Amazing customer service, too!

Joe worked on several electrical issues in my 1930s home and worked tirelessly to replace old wires, install a new circuit box with breaker switches, and replace old two-prong outlets inside. His contact with SDG&E was professional and timely, and it helped make the repairs less stressful to me. He was thorough in checking his work and returned to fix some funky wiring later on. I highly recommend this business!

Charged 150 dollars just to visit for an electrical issue. Technician, Christian, was in a bad mood, rude, condescending and arrogant. Did not inspect the house thoroughly. Spent two minutes looking at the breaker and assumed the issue was the breaker's age. A potential $1800 job to replace. Also offered quicker fixes that lacked any sort of warranty.

None of that would have resolved the issue. The issue ended up being something else entirely: Stairs light fixture, which had recently had bulbs replaced, had overly twisted wiring and ended up getting fried and tripping the breaker. There was also loose wiring in one switch that was found. If Christian spent just a bit longer investigating the house, he would have easily found this out. All in all, paid the same amount to fix it.

I'm a new home owner. I was in need of a good reliable electrician. A friend recommended Green Electric Solutions. The electrician showed and fixed my problem. I highly recommend Green Electric Solutions for all your electric needs. He was very professional and excellent customer service. I'm definitely calling them again for all my electricity needs. They beat their competitors price.

I am so glad I found an honest and reliable electrician in Green Electric Solutions.He figured out what was wrong with my electrical outlet so fast. The last electrician I had tested it but said he could not do anything because the garbage disposal was in the way. So he charged me $200 and it was still not working. I called Green Electric Solutions because they know how to remove a garbage disposal and would be able to access the electrical outlet. The electrician was able to get both outlets working in 15-20 minutes and he did not even need to remove the garbage disposal. I highly recommend him to my friends and thank him for doing such a great service!

We called Green to repair mysterious electrical problems related to the age of our 1961 house. Gonzalo and his fellow electrician, Ivan, gave us a diagnosis, options for the repair, and a fair flat rate. Because of the age and condition of the electrical system in our house, the repair required some trial-and-error, which we expected. Gonzalo responded promptly to continuing problems and persisted until they were resolved. He was available on his cell on evenings and weekends. He and Ivan were professional, courteous, and got the job done. We will use them again and recommend them to others.
