I was referred to Coastal by a friend for can lighting installation , drywall repair, paint..etc. in the kitchen. Jose was very responsive and gave me a good price. He and Sam demo'd the old ceiling fans and lights and Sam did the electrical. He did good work and was very polite. Then Jose followed up with the drywall repairs and paint. Jose did excellent work, was polite and communicative and cleaned up after the job. My dog even liked him which made it easier on everyone...and I like he's in the San Carlos area. I'll be using him again in the future.

Jose did a fabulous job on my commercial patio floor refresh!! After many years of paint inevitably chipping off the concrete, we did a grind of the surface to remove the paint, patching all the cracks and dips to even things out and my favorite part- the stain and seal!! It looks fresh while showing some character / history of the previous existing concrete. I am so pleasantly surprised by the stain!! I didn't know we could do that but he was inspired by another job he did recently. It is a warm sepia tone. I love the color and I am so happy not to deal with paint chipping ever again!! He always left the place clean and worked hours that accommodate my business.

We had a great experience with Groysman Construction on our extensive home addition.

The work was well-coordinated, with steady progress every day (even Saturdays) which resulted in the entire project being completed earlier than expected. Joe, the project manager, was very responsive, involved, and made the process much easier and was mindful of our experience living through the construction.

We are very pleased with the final result. The addition blends seamlessly with the original home and most people can’t even tell it was added. It truly transformed our space into a long-term home for us.

Very disappointed. I met with Boris Groysman for an on-site estimate for a time-sensitive home repair project. When we initially spoke, I was not told there would be a fee for the estimate. After I arrived and we were standing outside the property, he then informed me there would be a $500 estimate fee. Given my deadline and the urgency of the situation, I felt put in a difficult position and proceeded, but I believe that fee should have been clearly disclosed before scheduling the appointment.

I then spent approximately 2.5 hours walking him through the house and explaining the scope of the project. I was told I would receive the estimate by Wednesday (7 business days later). I later discovered that he had sent an email on Monday (5 days after our meeting), but it went to my junk folder. However, I had also left multiple follow-up voicemails and sent text messages that went unanswered.

Prior to our meeting, communication was very responsive, with multiple texts confirming the appointment. After the meeting, that level of communication stopped, and there was no follow-through or alternative offered, such as rescheduling or reconnecting after he was sick.

I understand that unexpected things come up, but the lack of upfront transparency regarding fees, combined with inconsistent communication and missed expectations, was disappointing. Based on my experience, I would not feel comfortable relying on this contractor for a time-sensitive project.

We recently purchased a house and contacted Groysman Construction for an extensive remodel. We wanted to repaint the house, redo the flooring, change the kitchen backsplash and tiling in both bathrooms and fireplace, add in cabinetry and floating shelves in the kitchen, and repaint the exterior of the house. Boris walked through the property with us, providing suggestions and quickly providing an estimate. We worked with Joe, who ensured that the project was done ahead of time (it took less than 1.5 months for everything) and provide us updates along the way. Everything was done exactly how we hoped and the pricing was exactly the same as the estimate. We really wanted to thank Lalo and Francisco for the tiling work throughout the house, it really came out great. I would highly recommend Groysman Construction to anyone thinking of a small or large home remodel.

These guys are THE BEST. A friend recommended them after we almost made an arrangement with another contractor and I am very thankful that we chose Groysman Construction company. Here is why:
1. They came to check on our damages (water related) in the same day I called them and arranged to start working in the next day to speed up the process.
2. Each worker who came in our home (there were 3 or 4 in total) was a professional in what they were doing, did work fast and with a high quality. Bonus: they were also very nice people.
3. Foreman (Igor) was constantly checking the progress and quality of work of each worker. He was always available via phone and ready to come by if we had any questions, agreed to do any additional needed work and gave us great advices in regards to material and other.
4. Whole project was done VERY fast and we were happy with the quality.

Hopefully no more accidents in out home but if anything happens I know who to call.

We had an excellent experience working with Boris and his team of professionals. Our house had a major slab leak and required an extensive amount of work to get it back to normal. Our project consisted of installing new kitchen cabinets and countertops, new flooring through the house, demo’ing and remodeling two bathrooms, etc. The team finished the project earlier than expected, and communication was clear and straightforward along the way. My family lived in the house throughout the demo and reconstruction; the team was very considerate and worked to minimize any disruption.

The project manager, Joe, was terrific. He communicated the process and schedule along the way. Carlos was a master of everything. His work in framing, dry wall, painting, everything was top notch. Silver was an artist in his use of tile. The showers as well as kitchen backsplash tile work, should be highlighted on an HGTV home improvement show. Everyone was incredibly polite, cleaned up every day, and treated our house like their own and us like their family. Boris had a great vision for our house from the start, and helped steer us to a design that we love. Boris is very responsive and clear in his communications – there were never any hidden costs or questions about the schedule or status of the work.

We had a great experience with Groysman Construction, and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone looking for a home remodel. I know there is an overwhelming number of contractors out there – look no further and choose Groysman Construction!

Groysman Construction did a fabulous job with my remodel. I had to re-do my entire kitchen after a water leak and Boris was amazing. He was always responsive, gave great suggestions and on point design feedback. His team was clean and professional and I never had to worry about anyone not showing up. He handled everything and it was as stress free as it could have been!

Groysman construction was amazing to work with for our home renovation. We added a master bath, redid an existing bathroom, put in all new flooring downstairs, new TV area, new storage cabinets, new sliding doors, painting, etc!
Throughout the entire project they were communicative, reliable, collaborative, and efficient. All of the different teams that were brought into our home to do the demo, plumbing, flooring, painting, etc were all very respectful and professional people. Since we didn’t move out during this work it was so important to us and we were never put out or felt uncomfortable.

Boris and his crew did an outstanding job with my bathroom renovation. It was professionally handled throughout. As issues (inevitably) came up, they were dealt with in a way that left me feeling confident that details were being paid attention to. In the end, the job was done to a high standard, and perhaps most importantly, we were almost exactly on budget. There was one small addition, cleared with me in advance. I’d recommend Boris and his crew, and I will use them in the future.

From the first meeting the Groysman Construction was serious about the project and start measuring everything and giving me an idea about the cost ( which for us was very important as we were going to fix EVERYTHING in our 1972 condo from the floor to the ceiling and the cost was important). We had multiple meetings with Igor and Andrew while we were finalizing the scope of work and the final estimate was pretty close to the original quotes. The only increases were due to the additional work we asked them to perform which was not originally budgeted.
TEAM: Groysman construction got a great team of talented people. We really enjoyed working with Andrew, Igor, and Alexander. Igor was working in the construction for decades, so I would feel very comfortable to knock my whole place out and build my it from the ground. Andrew is a designer and was helping us to design the kitchen and other things around the place ( such as turning the closet for water heater into a storage area, designing the laundry and bathroom, and many other things). Andrew always comes with a great idea and Igor makes it happen in the reality. Alexander was main execution contact and his work ethic is excellent. He made our place look pristine!
TIMING and COORDINATION: Igor was a project manager and he was scheduling everyone: painters, plumbers, demolishes, electricians and etc. Having a professional who knows the order in which all work needs to be done is a huge benefit and it allowed me and my husband to be hands off and only do a check ups to make sure everything goes smooth. We did have couple small hiccups, but Igor managed it well and we still finished everything on time. My advice to anyone whose project is more than just repainting the walls - let the professionals do the job. Yes, it would cost a bit extra but the results and all the stress you avoid along the way is well worth the cost.
SCOPE of WORK: Groysman Construction has been hired to demolish the whole place, replace the floors, remove texture from walls and ceiling, remove heating wires and add lightning across the whole place, completely rebuild the kitchen and the bathroom, replace the water heater, paint walls and ceiling, assemble closets, demolish several walls in order to rebuild the laundry and closets area, replace all doors, attach tracks for the curtains, install window sills, update the plumbing, replace range hood, tile the kitchen, install quartz counter top etc.
QUALITY of WORK: Let me say, unfortunately for myself and for other people, I am very demanding consumer. I always do everything in my life as close to perfect as possible and this is what I expect from other people. The work done by Groysman construction has exceeded my expectations. They turned our place into magic! Almost a year after the remodeling, our place looks as good as when they returned us the keys. I've heard so many horrible stories from my friends and coworkers about how bad their experiences were. It is such a relief that I do not have one of those stories to share with you. All I want to say is if you are looking for someone to complete your project - look no further, you will thank yourself many times for choosing Groysman Construction
PRICE: I shopped around prior to hiring Groysman construction and I believe that they have very reasonable prices for the quality of work they perform.
After all the work, time and money we put in our home, I hope we would not have to move for a while. If I move - I will choose Groysman construction over and over aging.
