I'm on a market for a pest company and came across this company via search. Went on their website filled out a contact form on Sunday and Monday came and nothing. I called them on Monday and spoke with some lady at the office and she said that my area technician will be calling me back at his next break. They must be really busy because 25 hours later he still didn't get his break and called me back. I'll stay away. Plenty of competition to go with. Thank you for letting me know how good you care for your costumers before I signed a contract.

My wife, daughter and I moved from University Heights to Torrey Highlands this past summer. Our house was inundated with ants, and there were a lot of spiders, too. Ants were coming in through the outlets and in all the bathrooms and sinks. My wife woke up one night with ants crawling all over her in bed. That was the last straw. R & D was fast and friendly: we never even knew they came. They only applied their formula outside the house, nothing inside. Since then, we have seen not one ant or spider in the house. Problem solved. They come back every other month. The price is reasonable and totally worth it.

Contacted this company to get rid of a rather impressive wasp nest inside our shed. The guy arrived when he said he would and did the necessary, with offer to do any required follow up free if the first spray didn’t do the job (it was a wet day). Contact was made via Facebook and communication via messenger. Quick, efficient and friendly service. Would recommend.

I was seeing scorpions and tried R&D about 5 years ago. They did a great and professional job so I fired Orkin and have not been disappointed. A couple of years ago, bees found their way into a house vent and they came, took care of the problem, and charged me a lot less than anyone else 'cause I was already a steady customer. We've been regular customers for 15 years. They keep the ants and spiders at bay -- no easy task for where we live -- and occasional other pests as well. We've never needed indoor service because they control it all from the outside. The service is outstanding (and they're nice guys!)

We live in Scripps Ranch next to a lot of open space and had major ant invasions every summer. I tried a range of insect sprays of the Home Depot variety - nothing seemed to stop them. We finally decided to get some professional help this spring. After some research we decided to try R&D. To cut to the chase - no more ants, spiders or any other insect pests. Their service and knowledge is 1st class. Dave came out on the first visit and went over every aspect of their service - what they are using, how they spray it etc. They are very environmentally conscious and aware of safety concerns - so they spray very focused and targeted - not one of those "bring a truck, blanket the place with chemicals and hope for the best" outfits. We have a lot of wildlife and also grow some vegetables - again, they deal with those special concerns very professionally. Bottom line: highly recommended!

We first used R&D 13yrs ago after we purchased our first home. We have since moved several times and they have moved with us. We trust our home to no one else, R&D offers great service and prompt attention to any need we may have. We have had a terrible ant problem in our La Jolla home for years. About two years ago, the infestation reached epic proportions. Every little food crumb or wrapper left out would turn into a black mound of writhing black ants within minutes and there were thick lines of ants moving through every room, and even dropping from the ceiling. Each morning, I would open the kitchen trash can and thousands of ants would be inside. I hired two different local companies over the course of a year and paid thousands of dollars for regular pest services. The problem only got worse and worse. I was literally feeling crazy, obsessed with cleaning and killing ants every moment I was in the house. I contacted R&D Pest Services a year ago and Dave came out that same day. He said he would fix our problem, and after identifying the type of ants we had (odorous house ants) and explaining how each ant needed to be treated differently, he did just that. Rather than just spraying, he left different kids of bait outside and in, searched tiny crawl spaces, climbed to the roof to locate nests - spent literally hours until he'd rooted out the last nest and solved the problem. Plus, he was always careful about reassuring us that our pets and kids would be safe throughout. I can honestly say Dave has single-handedly changed our lives for the better. Since these heroics took place, I've only seen a few scattered ants in the house once or twice, and Dave is always here within a day when I call. I've never written a review in my whole life, but my experience was so incredible, I felt I needed to share. If you a suffering with ants, just call these guys. They are like superheroe
