Jacob, Lupe and Ruiz did a GREAT job with my severely overgrown trees. The nearly trimmed these 5 trees, and are very nest and clean. BRAVO!

Very good attention to detail. Trimmed, fertilized, dealt with a difficult hedge. Been using them for years. Daniel is a pro and knows what he is doing while also having a nice non-pushy presence.

I have used Davey Tree for a number of years. I would like to give a shoutout to one of their employees. Her name is Candy. She services the trees on our property. She is knowledgeable, courteous, and super competent. I highly recommend Davey Tree services.

I’ve used Dave’s for my trees for many years . The service is always great and their knowledge about plants and trees is superior. This year Daniel and Brian did exceptional work on my Orchid and Pepper tree. I’ll call them again next year.

Davey has been my go to for tree planting and care since 2016. My loyalty has paid off dividends with large healthy trees providing years of beauty, shade and privacy for my property. I do yearly insect and fertilization treatments and for the last couple years, Candy has come out to provide this service. She is always on time, friendly, careful and VERY thorough with the services to make sure the proper attention is provided for each plant. I appreciate this opportunity to comment and to the powers that be at Davey, if you haven't done so already, I nominate Candy for a promotion/raise/recognition!

Patrick from Davey tree came out and did an excellent assessment of my yard and gave me a very reasonable quote. Daniel and Jacob showed up on time and did an excellent job of trimming exactly the way I requested and did a wonderful job cleaning up as well. Would highly recommend!

Knowledgeable, efficient, easy to schedule and punctual on the day. Did a great job and left the area clean. Good price for the quality of service. We’ve had this company do our annual tree trim for the last few years and have been impressed every time. This year, Ben provided the assessment/estimate and then Jacob and Dan did the actual work. Very pleased overall; couldn’t ask for more.

This company came on private property and cut down our agave bloom without talking to us first, claiming it was in the way of power lines. It is not, and we've been monitoring it, anticipating the amazing bloom that happens once in its lifetime. We've been waiting 15 years to see it bloom. Our whole family is extremely disappointed. I'll also include pictures of my neighbor's tree, which is actually in the power lines on the other side of the alley. Nothing is being done about that.
I wonder if this is an excuse to charge SDGE for an easy paycheck. In any case, no one should ever have come and cut this without talking to an actual person who lives here first. This is an example of rude business practice, bad planning, failure to communicate, and lack of community awareness.

I'm slow in reviewing the service I was given by Jacob and F. Villa on December 3rd of 2025. Both gentlemen were professional, worked hard and produced a beautiful result. I've used Davey
tree service in the past and have never been disappointed. Let me repeat, Jacob and F. Villa were outstanding.

Davey Tree was great helping me trim 4 big trees on my property. More than one company had told us they didn’t work on oak trees but Dan informed me that they had the expertise and experience and wouldn’t be a problem for them. They also left the turf cleaner than before they started. Thank you. Will use again in the future and highly recommend to anything thinking of tree needs.

David and Homer did a fantastic job in our yard! They were professional and efficient. Our trees look gorgeous! We will be calling them again for sure!

Today, I had 3 trees, and a bush plus overgrown rose hedge removed from the front and the back yard of my home. Jacob, Elicio, Jose, Sayas were awesome. They went too work on my Deodar Cedar tree that was huge, got almost all of it down. It was a super organized crew that worked together. Everything they did was in sync. All 4 men were friendly, checked in with me to see if I was happy with the progress made. I am beyond happy.

I met Ben and Dan at the recent Del Mar Home & Garden show. Very glad I stopped by to discuss a situation with one of our trees. Signed up to have someone take a look and let me know what their recommendation would be as the experts. Ben scheduled an appointment, was prompt in his arrival and helped answer questions not only about the tree in question but others on our property, too. He submitted a reasonably priced proposal and we scheduled an appointment for treatment. Today, Candy M. stopped by and treated our trees. She was prompt, courteous and efficient. I am hopeful that our trees will flourish and grateful to have found Davey. Thank you!

The quality is service from Davey is superb. An arborist evaluates your tree at no cost and agrees with owner on treatment. Davey team then follows up and follows the plan. The service is efficient and high quality - including clean-up. Shout out to Daniel and Sayas who recently trimmed my 70+ year old cedar.

Fantastic company. David, Jose and Pancho showed up on time, and immediately got to work. They performed their task quickly and efficiently. Our place is completely clean and were it not for the missing tree limbs, we would never know they were here.
Their equipment also seems quieter and more efficient than others we have observed.
We highly recommend Davey. Will only use them in the future.

I have been using Davey Tree for awhile now. I have been working with Patrick. He has provided very competitive pricing. They have a large group of knowledgeable employees. Recently my tree trimming was less than perfect. I spoke to Patrick. He assigned two new Technicians to come out and do my trimming. Danial and Brian showed up they showed up early. Jacob and Francisco Villa trimmed and shaped my Italian stone pine. It is a good size tree about 40 feet. My neighbor has a swimming pool and does not want branches hanging over the fence. I needed the tree to be balanced On my side. The pruning Was masterful. The tree looks beautiful. Both men have a very good eye. Their cleanup was great. They got all the Pineneedles and debris out of all the smaller plants that are everywhere. This was definitely a five star job. Thanks, fellas You’re great.

Our Positive experience with the Davey team started from the moment James answer the phone, he was very polite, kind and professional. He set an appointment for us to meet with Ben, who came out to take a look at our palms and provided us with a quote. Ben too was super calm, Kind and professional. Then it came the day for the work and I must tell you that we worked with two Angels. (David and Candy) Perfect for the job and perfect for us. They went beyond the call of duty. Jose and Homer arrived on time as previously arranged. We had a thorough conversation of our goals prior to any trimming of our Chinese Elm. The results were very good. Trimmed to shape and lace was well executed. They cleaned up cuttings minimizing damage to existing understory planting.
