My husband and I had a great experience with Rancho Coastal Tree Care. From the initial estimate all the way through the tree removal. We had a pretty big tree that was growing into 3 neighbors yards and they did a great job removing it and grinding the stump. Rancho Coastal Tree has excellent communication, they arrived on time and did amazing work. Will definitely recommend to others, thank you for the amazing job!

I would not recommend Rancho Coastal Tree to anyone looking for reliable and professional service. Their lack of communication and repeated excuses are clear indicators of poor business practices. Save yourself the hassle.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Rancho Coastal Tree. Over the years, I used Paul from Rancho Environmental and was thrilled with his work, sadly it is not the same since Rancho Coastal Tree took over.

I had a fallen Eucalyptus tree and made an appointment online. A week later 2 people from Rancho Coastal Tree looked at the tree and gave me an estimate. After I accepted the estimate, getting my job on their schedule took a month. Then they failed to show up not once, but twice! The first time, I waited for hours with no word from them. They gave no real explanation other than they had a different date on their calendar than the one they gave me. We rescheduled and the second time the appointment was confirmed verbally and via email. They were schedule to arrive between 7-8am. They were again a no show!!! At 8:30 I called to find out what was going on, they claimed their truck had broken down!

This company seems incredibly unorganized. What they advertise on their website is nothing like what I experienced. They were unprofessional. They wasted my time twice, and I had to rearrange my work schedule on two separate days for nothing. I told them to cancel my contract. I will find another company that values their customers’ time and commitments.

We recently had the pleasure of working with the Rancho Coastal team and I couldn't be more impressed with the entire experience. The Rancho team came out for the removal of a nearly 70-foot palm tree, trimming of 4 others on our property, and the clean up of several shrubs. From start to finish, the team was incredibly professional, efficient, and courteous.

A special shoutout to Junior, Luis, Ben and Primo, who went above and beyond to get the job done quickly and with great service quality.

I highly recommend Rancho to anyone in need of tree management / landscaping services.

Excellent service with chemical treatment of Canary Island Date Palm Tree for South American Palm Weevil that has been killing hundreds of trees in San Diego. Hopefully, Rancho Coastal Tree Care will help our tree survive this killer weevil.

Rancho Coastal saved our HUGE, old, ailing pine tree. We were told it was dying and should have it removed. We decided to nurse it back to health. After a year of Rancho Coastal’s care, it has returned to health! We are sincerely delighted and grateful.

We recently hired Rancho Coastal Tree to trim our 24 massive old eucalyptus trees. Joseph, Victor and the A Team (including Jr.) did an amazing job, which is not easy because it is a small property with intense plantings under the trees.

Victor made sure that each tree was trimmed and shaped correctly and maintained its health and beauty. The results could not have been better. The “A Team” was a lovely group of polite and professional men who absolutely enjoyed their job and performed wonderfully. It was a pleasure to have each of them here.

We’ve been maintaining these trees for over 35 years, and no one has done a better trimming job than Rancho Coastal.

Victor and his crew did a great job delivery and planting our Magnolia tree. Justin, the arborist who helped set up the job, was knowledgeable and responsive throughout. Overall a great experience, and I will definitely be using them again in the future.

Joseph, Victor and all team members were professional and shared their expertise. They trimmed about 30% of our overgrown Chinese Elm in a way that revealed the form of the tree in a lovely way, and repaired previous cuts done by another team to keep our tree healthy. They were respectful and left our property clean and tidy. Would hire them again!

I had a couple of palm trees in my front yard that had some type of disease. I tried calling a couple of other arborists to help me but none were available. Victir responded immediately to my call and came out that day. He was able to diagnose my problem and was very knowledgeable and professional! I ended up having to remove the trees. He was great about giving me options and prices. Thank you for being available and very communicative.

Contracted them (for the first time) to trim back 5 mature eucalyptus on our property and could not be happier. Cody did a great job planning out the work and communicating details. Octavio and the team were polite, diligent, kind, and checked in with me to ensure everything panned out as expected. The end product was exactly what I was hoping for at a very competitive price.

We hired them to remove two trees and trim some others (I included pictures of some of the trees that were trimmed).

The arborist, Cody, was extremely knowledgeable and professional, he accurately recognized all the trees and bushes on our property, knew how to care for each of them and when, and what trees/ plants were invasive to the area.
He made sure everything went exactly as we discussed with him initially.

Saùl, the foreman, was also great to work with! He did a great job, very professional and adaptable. There was zero damage to the irrigation or anything else, he left everything in the garden as clean as if there had never been trees there. They even used a leaf blower afterwards to make sure every last branch/ leaf was cleaned up.

They were also efficient, job was done smoothly and quickly.
I will use this company again.

Excellent care with trimming my extremely overgrown Hong Kong orchid tree and they cleaned up around their work better than I had it! Highly recommend, very respectful and polite owner and workers.

I was told by the fire department that I needed to remove the bushes behind my backyard because it was a fire hazard. These bushes were on a very steep slope where I needed a professional service to remove them or else it would be dangerous. I called Red Maple, and they came after a rainy day and were able to remove nearly 5 tons of dry and dead bushes. I’m impressed with how efficient and professional they were.

Abel with Red Maple (catchy isn't it?) is the "go to" when it comes to tree services.  He and his team are fast, efficient, reliable, and really dang good! We have had the pleasure of working with Red Maple to clear our slope twice and we are very pleased with their work.  If you need tree services, Abel is your man!

Abel is friendly, easy to talk to, and knowledgeable. He gave us a free inspection and estimate for trimming our trees... Able's crew did a great job trimming our large trees and dealing with the encroaching roots. They were professional and courteous. They showed up on time, did the agreed -upon work for the agreed-upon price, and cleaned up well. I will call them next time the trees need to be trimmed.
