My experience was totally positive. Bryan Birmingham explained the process during the life of the project and made positive recommendations that enhanced the value of the project. I also noted that he treated his work crew with respect, and made sure they respected each other. The work crew worked hard during working hours and never took unreasonably long breaks. Because I was living across the street during the life of the project, I was able to enter the project during the day and observe the progress. All of my questions were quickly answered by the crew or the contractor.

Bryan and his team were a pleasure to work with on some foundation retrofit work we recently had completed. Communication and expectations were clear, his team was reliable, quick, and maintained a very clean work space during and after the project cleanup. Bryan Birmingham is a truly professional contractor. We remodeled our kitchen with demolition down to the studs. We changed the layout, installed new cabinets, upgraded our plumbing, lighting, electrical and repainted. He provided a detailed quote and was easy to work with throughout the entire project.
When we ran into challenges (every project will have some) he provided creative ideas and affordable solutions. In addition to Bryan and his team he also used very professional subcontractors. They did great work and were responsive and very respectful of our home.

We worked with Bryan for about two years on an extensive remodel of two small 1-level houses (and basement) in Noe Valley. The project included rebuilding and enlarging the houses, completely remodeling two kitchens, two baths, and all other living space. We replaced and added windows and skylights, new heated wood floors, and new plumbing and electrical throughout. The old plaster walls were replaced and insulation was added throughout. The exterior of both houses was completely replaced with new wooden siding, roofs, painting, and electrical fixtures, with the exterior matching the original Edwardian look. A wooden walkway between the houses was rebuilt and replaced with slate; wooden front gate and wisteria trellis were replaced with black iron; landscape and security lighting was installed; a patio was added. The basement was redesigned and enlarged; part of the foundations on the houses was repaired and/or replaced. We finished the project and moved into both dwellings just as the pandemic hit SF in 2020.

We could not be happier with our two beautiful homes and with Bryan as our contractor. He has years of experience as a contractor in SF, and in Noe Valley in particular. He is knowledgeable in all aspects of building specifically in this City. He brought with him an outstanding crew and fantastic subcontractors. Bryan is honest, easy to work with, really hard working, and he listened to our ideas while making suggestions when needed.

We consider ourselves fortunate to have had Bryan as our contractor on this project; he made the whole process enjoyable and run smoothly. We recommend Bryan without any hesitation.

Alex and his team are knowledgeable and very quick with their work. When we moved into our
new commercial space, Global Arch did the build out. They did a great job and have handled many jobs over the years in our shop. We have never had to close because of construction-they are very accommodating to our opening hours. All in all a great company with quality work.

Alex handled my entire duplex remodel. We had dry rot, old pipes, and outdated electrical, but he took care of everything. The interior looks amazing now, and we even improved the layout. What I appreciate most is that everything works—no more plumbing or electrical issues, no flickering lights, and no weekly calls to a plumber for clogs or leaks. Thank you

I am getting natural gas out of my 1920s home, and Eric from All-Electric California helped me game out what I needed to do with my electric panels to 1) get up to code and modern safety standards, and 2) prepare for my next few steps of installing heat pump HVAC, heat pump hot water, EV charger, and electric fireplace insert. My panel and sub panel were mysterious, often labeled incorrectly, and even had arcing happening in a troubled switch. Eric helped me fit all my needs into my 100 amp panel without upgrading my service from the street. It was great to find a knowledgeable contractor who understood my vision and helped me make it happen!

My family hasn't been in SF too long, and we were nervous about hiring an unknown contractor to do major electrical work. There's a lot of trust involved since I don't know much at all about electricity. Eric has turned out to be the most reliable, professional contractor I've ever worked with. He is really smart, incredibly timely, and most of all handled all the paperwork and permitting and logistics with absolute minimal input from my end. All-Electric is also dedicated to decarbonization and getting gas appliances out of your home. They are at the cutting edge of that technology. I highly recommend them!

I highly can recommend All-Electric CA. I had a lot of limitations on what we could do electrifying my condo because of space limitations and the inability to install an external heat pump because of CC&Rs. Eric and All-Electric CA worked with me to find good solutions and then made it all happen. The job went quickly and the resulting workmanship was outstanding. I'm a very satisfied customer!

The All-Electric California team is the BEST. When our gas water heater sprung a leak, I did a bit of research and learned about heat pump water heaters. I reached out to several places for a quote, and was extremely pleased when AEC got back to me within two hours! The quote process was painless, all I had to do was email in some photos. They were extremely knowledgeable about the various rebates, tax incentives, and bill credits through SFPUC, and they included them all on the quote so I could see just how much we qualified for. The overall cost was even cheaper than what we were quoted to replace it with a new gas water heater!

When it came time for installation, their whole team was awesome. Efficient, friendly, and clean! They had to run some new electrical wiring to the heat pump water heater and they did it along the ceiling where it is not an eyesore. They also took the time to route the water drip pipe out into my back garden where it is currently making my plant very happy! After the install they showed us how everything works and helped us set up an app to enroll in our utility demand response program, which would help us qualify for incentives. Their team was very educational and very communicative at every step of the process.

We are very happy with our new heat pump water heater and look forward to working with this team on other home electrification projects!!

Picking a contractor is a stressful process — it’s one of those cases where horror stories seem to be the norm. Just finding someone who doesn’t scam you is hard enough, and finding someone who’s actually superb is like finding a diamond in the rough. Well Or and Sagie at Unicon are like finding a dozen diamonds!

We worked with Unicon to do a full-house remodel and I can’t stress how amazing these guys are. They’re extremely communicative, organized, thoughtful, and helpful. At every step in the process they’ve patiently answered all our questions, suggested great options we didn’t think of, and outlined in great detail every piece of the project (with prices) so we could decide which work to do and know exactly what to expect. They consistently followed through on anything they said they would and they care a lot about quality. We interviewed a bunch other contractors and these guys are head and shoulders above anyone else out there.

We’re working with Unicon to do a significant remodel across our ~3000SF house. Our project is complex and involves a number of subspecialties (framing, electrical, plumbing, painting, stone counters, outdoor). The experience with Sagie and Or has really been excellent. They’ve been extremely detail oriented for our project. They have lots of domain experience and are very clear in their communication and quick to respond. We’ve always felt the process has been fair and transparent. Would certainly recommend.
