Unicon were absolutely amazing to work with! My husband and I were not only new to the renovation world, but also first time home owners. We interviewed several contractors before moving ahead with Sagie. Sagie and his team helped us fully remodel our kitchen, our master bathroom, and half bath, and we are thrilled with the results! From the moment we hired Unicon, we felt confident in his abilities and expertise. He made us feel comfortable asking questions and really helped us along each step of the way. We really appreciated his attention to detail. He has wonderful contacts at various vendors that were a joy to work with. Also, Sagie has excellent communication - I mean it, his response time is lightning quick! We trusted Sagie & his team so much that we even felt comfortable taking off to Europe for a few weeks and leaving the renovation in his hands. He sent us daily progress photos and notes to keep us in the loop. All in all, there were minimal hiccups, and we came in on budget and on time. We would 100% hire Unicon again for our next project!

The initial project was just a bathroom remodeling, but it turned into a pretty much whole house renovation with layout changes. With a good number of quotes we received on our remodeling project, Unicon were not on the cheap end but also definitely not the ones that want to cut corners and make easy money. We went to visit a couple of their projects and were really impressive by the level of attention they put in their work. We were able to work out a budget and keep the cost to a reasonable range. The workers were professional and stuck to their proposed schedule. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for some high quality work done in their homes.

In the beginning, Sagi was great to work with. He was very prompt, and the timeline was moving along fantastically. Then his tone completely changed, and his communication style certainly needs some improvement. He is very prompt to remind you (the homeowner) that he is not a designer, and he is swift to avoid any responsibility (i.e., blaming us for going on vacation). I had to get the other partner involved, Or, who helped a bit. There were tons of examples that the ball was dropped by Sagi/Unicon that could have easily been prevented had he been more organized about his time and kept the project on track. We expected a much higher level of professionalism given the six-digit cost of our home remodel that Unicon charged us. All-in-all our home looks fantastic. Would I ever hire Unicon again on my next remodel project? Not at all. The communication headaches they caused far outweigh how gorgeous our house now looks.

I used Arias for my demo, hanging new drywall, shimming, sanding and painting. He is among the best. He is detailed and the painting is perfect. I would highly recommend him.

This is the guy you want for any remodel large or small. He has completely torn apart and rebuild from scratch to 1100 square foot, San Francisco Victorian flats for me. Down to the last detail. He has a great crew, great subs, is super reliable and honest, and gets the job done on time. He won’t cut corners, won’t ever overcharge you and if there are any unforeseen problems down the line, you just give him a call and he’ll come back and make it right immediately. I’ve done multiple projects in the past and Tomas Arias is the best I’ve ever found.

Tomas Arias is amazing. He is always responsive and has helped me with three plumbing emergencies over the last few years in San Francisco. He helped build a majestic deck to make our house complete. His prices are fair and transparent. He is very trustworthy.

Tomas did a great job replacing both my bathroom shower tile and plumbing that beyond doubt exceeded my expectations. The job was done in a timely manner and he communicated daily with me via pictures or phone calls. Highly recommend Tomas and his team. Tomas was easy to communicate with, by text or in person, and his team was always professional and friendly. They installed plywood shear walls, sheetrock, a new concrete floor, repaired the interior staircase, and sealed and painted my leaking front steps. The garage looks fabulous!

Tomas was recommended to me by a friend, and it was a great experience. He is very quick to respond and was transparent through the entire process. I had a few things I had to get done including reroofing, placing a new deck, painting, and electrical work. He clearly holds himself to a high standard and his crew is also very polite and efficient. If you need any work done, this is the place to go!

Tomas and his team did a superb renovation of our 2 story deck and backyard patio + hardscaping. He clearly understood structural code and ensured we met all local requirements. He's also led a full renovation of our bathroom as well as upgraded all exterior doors. He's our first choice to work on any home project - big or small!

Tomás was recommended by a neighbor and I am so thankful for it. He and his staff are courteous, punctual, diligent, and very skillful craftsmen. They installed a hardwood oak floor, new counters, new sink, refinished and painted our cabinets, and installed new light fixtures. We are so pleased with the results. It’s beautiful. Last year Tomas and his team helped us renovate our entire San Francisco Victorian Home that had not been updated since the 1950s! We bought a house that needed MANY repairs and updates and he was able to help us with pretty much every project we had and helped us do it quickly so we could move in sooner! His team did an absolutely incredible job completely tearing down all the walls to the studs, replacing the old knob and tube wiring, adding insulation, and then putting the walls back while maintaining and repairing the original character (matching tons of moulding on the walls and ceilings and repairing and maintaining the 11ft tall curved ceilings). They also were able to completely re finish and repair our hardwood floors while also extending and matching them in other areas of the house. His team also helped us replace and install a completely new HVAC, hook ups for washer dryer, adding a dishwasher and garbage disposal to the kitchen, and so much more, I cannot even remember.

It was our first home and our first ever project SO large and we could not have imagined getting through it all without Tomas and his amazing team.

I cannot say enough good things about Arias Construction. Tomas and his crew updated and visibly improved our newly purchased 1912 craftsman cottage in Oakland. The biggest jobs included a complete kitchen refresh, installing an oak floor in the kitchen and laundry room. replacing a pedestal sink in a bathroom with a vanity, insulating the house from the attic to underneath, installing wall space heaters in two rooms, and repairing many items identified by the property inspector before we purchased. They also painted the trim around the exterior windows, installed a new on demand water heater, as well as lifted and added a foundation under our art studio in the back yard. The whole project took about 2 months and came in at a very reasonable cost for the size of the project. We are thrilled with the result.

From start to finish, Arias Construction was superb to work with. In addition to being very skillful, Tomas and his workers and subs are trustworthy, neat, punctual and hardworking. Tomas communicated with us every step of the way and kept things moving smoothly daily. He even indulged us with a few extra small home repairs that weren’t part of his contract.
