I contacted M E C when I needed to update/replace some outdated florescent light fixtures in my master bathroom, and it was one of the best decisions I have made as a homeowner! From the moment I contacted M E C I was provided with excellent customer service as the office manager Carla asked detailed questions about what type of work needed to be done, my timeline and budget. An appointment was scheduled for a time/date convenient for me and she let me know what technician I would be meeting with. When the electrical technician Raul arrived he handed me his business card and he was in uniform, which also had his name. This made me feel secure knowing it was the right person at my door. He was clean and professional looking and even put on booties over his shoes before entering my home. He offered great advice for what would work best in that space and in my budget. An estimate was provided on the spot. Once I approved it he never once tried to create any extra charges to my proposal and stuck to what would be best for my budget, while making sure I received the best quality possible. I had recessed lighting installed as well as a hanging fixture, which really transformed my space. There is a trip charge and diagnostic fee but the amount of time they spent with me and care they provided demonstrated their high quality service and the value offered made those fees worth paying. I highly recommend this personable and professional company to anyone I know. Not only can you trust this company for their strong integrity and work ethic, but also for their ability to make you feel like an important part of the entire process! A+ for M E C, I’ll be returning for my next home project!

During the holidays our power went out in parts of our house. Of course we had company staying over at the time. MEC was referred by a friend and so I gave them a call. There office staff was very responsive. They communicated with me not only on an approximate time when they would arrive, but also when the technician was on his way. The technician who showed up was pleasant and explained to me what the problem was. After the repair he walked me through of what was done and asked if I had any questions before he left. I would definitely use MEC again. Great job and and great service.

My front doorbell, which has been looked at once before by another electrical contractor, was again malfunctioning. A friend who works for a property management company uses M E C and recommended them to me. I gave them a ring and my call was answered right away and they were able to schedule an appointment promptly during a time that was convenient for me to be present. They also told me the technician I would be meeting with and when he arrived he handed me his card so I knew it was the right guy. They were friendly, efficient and provided me with a thorough explanation of what was done. My doorbell was repaired and has been working properly. They have a trip charge but it is under $30 so not too big of a deal. I definitely recommend using M E C.

We called upon seeing lights dimming all over our house, particularly when we had other appliances on. The technician appeared in time and checked the wiring, and discovered a voltage imbalance that resulted in the issue. The lights are now constant and bright once more, and we are much relieved that the electrical system is in perfect balance after the repair. Greatly recommend especially to those who have flickering or dimming lights.

I booked a same day appointment with them and they gave me a window for arrival and promised a call. When no one came I called and they apologized and said they needed to rebook for tomorrow. I was disappointed but gave them another chance. They failed to come or call in the first 2 hours so I called to reconfirm. They assured me they were coming and that I would get a call. Come the third hour and no call, I called again. They assured me they were running late but they would call and be there just late. No one came 30 min later and I called back. They said they couldn’t get in touch with technician and they hadn’t been able to earlier. I booked with another company.
