Carlos and his team at All Bay designed and installed a large solar system on our house and garage in Palo Alto, together with 4 Tesla PowerWall batteries. This was a big project to design, permit, and build in Palo Alto, and was a great success.

All Bay was great to work with, especially during a very challenging permitting process. Their installation, both on the roof, whole new subpanels for the house, and batteries was 100%.

They've stood behind the system, and are always available if I need anything.

Got connected to All Bay Solar through Sun Power. We decided to go with Sunpower because their panels as well as the 25year warranty are some of the top in the industry.

We appreciated Carlos (the founder and President) coming to our house to sit down and do an in-depth consultation within one week of reaching out to Sunpower. We contacted Luminalt and Occidental and their wait times for consultations were over a month and installations were not available until 2020. Their quotes for similar builds were significantly more than All Bay's.

Install was smooth and quick. Our only issue was that there were some hiccups with email communication and we would have liked a little more structure after signing the contract from the team. I chalk it up to them being a small company and being extremely business. I provided this feedback to Carlos and he was very open to it and saw to it that they improve their processes.

Overall a positive experience, and I'm happy with my decision.

All I state is the the truth. All Bay Solar won't admit and fix issues. Instead, blaming on customer. I trusted he said he was able to do various of work. It looks like each job has problem. Since Carlos doesn't take responsibilty to fix the issues, I had to hire others to fix his work. It ends up cost more.

He installed generator, electric panels at my home, electric meters for apartment and laundry have problems. Only electric charger was good job. The laundry installation cost over $11k and took 8-9 months to finish it with lots of obstacles.

Both I and electric inspector asked Carlos to sort out confusion of unit A, B & C pge electric meters that were confusion for me and my tenants. After new tenants moved in 3 years ago, it's another surprise both I and tenants were still confusion which meter A, B & C meters are using. PGE, 311 and Building Dept. meters and units number still aren't matched.

I do not understand why my generator doesn't supply power to my home, My Generator Guy said it does not provide power because the generator was partial connected to subpanel. Instead, the generator should be connected to the main panel.

There was no power outage after generator installation until storm in spring 2023. I was quiet surprised and discovered the generator hasn't supplying power to my home. It was miserable to be in the dark at night and felt cold for two days. I had to go to safeway to charge my phone, use laptop, eat food or drink hot drink. Some food wasn't good so I throw them.

I appreciate Carlos asked me where I want the generator so the generator was installed below the deck. He asked me to hire my wall contractor to dig out the soil and install concrete slab for the placing generator for about $5k. The generator didn't pass City inspection. After inquiring Generac manufacturer, I informed Carlos the generator needed clearance below deck and the gas line connected to generator wasn't the correct material. Thus, he had to relocate it in another spot and blamed on me my fault to choose below deck location for generator. I'm not a generator installer. How do I know what requirements are ?

When My Generator Guy advised I paid parts for appliance protection during power outage, I found out All Bay Solar did not install both rear yard electric outlets and about $1000 I paid for the appliance protection. When the work was done, Carlos asked me to hire his company to do annual generac service. I felt I can't have him do yearly inspection because I had to instruct him how to pass inspection.

All Bay Solar Constriction is a good company to work with. Staff of the company earned 5-star for this company.

Tom is a good sales person. First, he scheduled a meeting with me to learn what I want and gave me suggestions. Then he communicated with me by email, call or msg. He responded to my questions in hours, sometimes, even during the weekends. Before the installation, Tom explained every detail of the installation. The crew team came on time and installed my solar system smoothly in one day. At the end, Jennifer applied NEM for me at PG&E. She and Tom had the same work style. Jennifer gave all the details, application timeline, what I should do and what/when I should expected. Everything went like she descripted. There was no hidden information and no surprising.

They did outstanding work. They deserve the 5-star rate.

All Bay Solar’s crew was meticulous in their DAILY care of our home. The technology is the best solar currently available. Sierra Club recommends Sun Power. All Bay Solar's work with our roof and solar installation was FAST, professional and truly remarkable.

Communication was excellent. Follow-up demonstrated genuine caring. But here's something we noticed that we did not expect. The crew worked together like a symphony. These guys were attuned to each other in a way that allowed synchronicity and efficiency that I never thought about in roof work. This was especially important as our roof has a 45 degree slope and many roofers flat did not want to do the job.

I have a client who had her roof done (and paid more than double what we did) and several days later I found 3 nails in her driveway. It only takes one nail to cause a flat tire. It was deeply gratifying watching the crew scouring our ground EVERY SINGLE DAY. Not ONE Nail was left behind!

Thank you, All Bay Solar, for getting us scheduled, keeping to the schedule, taking care of our home AND our neighbors' homes. Everyone was thrilled and we feel secure with our gorgeous new roof. Let' the storms come - we're READY.

Had a great experience with these guys, hiring a single company to redo my roof and install solar / batteries was a good choice. Very professional crew from the roofers to the electricians, the operations manager was very organized, and they had excellent communication. I always knew when they would be on site, even when things kept getting delayed due to a rainy winter for several months, and they showed up when they said they would.

We had an excellent experience working with All Bay for our solar installation including reroofing. They were all professionals, responsive and great problem solvers. The project manager was great, as were the hands-on crew. Highly recommend them to anyone looking to install solar in San Francisco.

All Bay Solar is the crew that you want if you want a fair priced roof and solar installation done right. I hired All Bay Solar to tear off my 30+ year old roof and replace it with a solar reflective roof along with 4.735kW of SunPower A-Series Panels and an upgraded 200A service panel. Like any construction job there were surprises and unexpected developments that came up but when they did, Carlos, the owner, took responsibility for ensuring that my expectations were met or exceeded. He and his crew were at my house for 4-5 days and we developed a good level of trust.

All Bay Solar is the contractor that you want to work at your house during COVID. They have done a great job training their crew to take proper precautions and wear face coverings while on the job. Given how hot it is up on the roof during the day that is really impressive. He also proactively had his entire crew COVID tested when someone at their company came in close contact with someone who had tested positive. They are responsible and organized and take the risks of COVID seriously.

All Bay Solar did my solar installation and the process was very smooth. Right from the initial sales call, to reviewing proposals, installation and permitting, they constantly communicated with us and let us know what to expect. Very professional and thorough and highly recommend them

We selected All Bay Solar to add solar and battery because they were knowledgeable (and admitted when they didn't have an answer or needed to double check, which I appreciated) and not pushy like other companies we spoke with. There were some miscommunications at the beginning, but they were extremely patient with me and all my questions throughout the entire process. It's clear the team has a great working relationship with SF inspectors and understand the byzantine permitting and approval process. They even escalated and resolved delays wtih PG&E. Recommended!

We had a fantastic experience with All Bay Solar for our solar panel installation, home battery, and EV charger at our San Francisco home. Carlos, the owner, was incredibly kind, patient, and responsive throughout the entire process. He took the time to answer all of my questions and was especially helpful navigating the San Francisco permitting process, which — as anyone who has gone through it knows — can be confusing and challenging. Despite the delays on the city side, Carlos remained professional, patient, and reassuring the whole way through.

All Bay Solar designed and installed an Enphase system for us, and we are very happy with how everything turned out. Their pricing was also competitive compared to other comparable quotes we received. Most importantly, the team was able to complete the installation in time for us to qualify for the end-of-year tax incentive, which we really appreciated. During the actual installation, the crew was efficient, clean, and professional. Edgar, the project manager, did a great job addressing a few unanticipated challenges that came up during the install and kept everything moving smoothly and on schedule.

Overall, the communication, workmanship, and customer care were outstanding. I would highly recommend All Bay Solar to anyone considering a solar project in San Francisco or the greater Bay Area, and we would absolutely use them again for any future needs.
