Byron Tay responded the same day, came on time, gave me a very reasonable price, and did the job fast and with great care and professionalism - even though our house is an older victorian and the wiring is very complicated. We were so impressed by him that we asked him do to a second job while he was here. We had gotten many quotes, mostly ridiculous prices and/or requirements by the electricians (many of them unlicensed, by the way; Byron Tay is licensed, insured and bonded). Byron was no-nonsense, and kept to his word. We will hire him for any electrical job going forward.

My ceiling light loosened overnight and was dangling by its wires. Made a call and Byron responded within minutes, he was able to accommodate immediate service on a Saturday morning! He came earlier than the time frame he promised, was prepared for the task and completed the job expeditiously. He even secured the ceiling lamp with additional screws to ensure it doesn't fall off again! Price for the emergency weekend fix was reasonable and my hats off to you Byron for your professional expedited service!

All Bay Solar installed 15 solar panels, a Tesla storage battery, a new main breaker panel, and other miscellaneous wiring in our home on Potrero Hill at the end of 2025. Even though they were extremely busy, Carlos and the team did a phenomenal job. Their workmanship is top-notch, and they were very easy to work with, accommodating a couple of revisions to the work to be done during the project. The team was professional, efficient, and took extreme care to ensure the installation was done to our specifications. We recommend them highly!

I had a great experience start to finish working with All Bay Solar. They did a site survey and put together a proposal with their recommendations, and then spent time talking through options.

The install was very smooth - took a bit more time than they initially thought, but ultimately the work was very high quality (and I'm picky about electrical). It's also good to know they're roofers as well, so I trusted them with the panel installation.

Ended up installing 15 panels and a Powerwall, and it's been operating smoothly since. PG&E is a nightmare to deal with and slowed down inspection, permission to operate, etc - but that wasn't the fault of All Bay Solar.

We had a very good experience with this company. They laid out our options clearly and explained the process well. When their workers were onsite, they were professional and easy to communicate with. The work was done well. (We didn't do a solar installation, just a panel upgrade.) I did sometimes have to follow up proactively to keep the process moving; hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, we were very satisfied with the work.

A quality shop. They kept me informed every step of the way. Went above and beyond it terms of setting the system up and were quick and efficient with the installation. They show up when they say they'll be there and don't give a "window" of time to expect them. I highly recommend this company.

All-Bay Solar did a tremendous job with our install, helping us navigate roofing issues and getting the panels in service by the December 2025 deadline for tax credits. Their communication was excellent, and the quality of installation was very good. We've now had them install solar at two different homes, and I can't recommend them more highly.

All Bay Solar installed two systems, each with 13 panels, and it was a great experience. They also upgraded service from 100 A to 200 A, installed new subpanels, and ran 240 V lines to a couple of different appliances. They had the lowest prices and were easy to work with. I highly recommend All Bay Solar.

Carlos and his team did a wonderful job with our solar project. They got all the paperwork submitted in time for us to qualify for better rates prior to the state change. All Bay did all the permitting, and put together a wonderful system with clear drawings so expectations were communicated clearly. All Bay went above and beyond on our install and we would work with them again in the future.

All Bay Solar installed a fairly large system in my San Francisco home with 30 panels, 2 batteries, a Span breaker panel and a service upgrade from 100 to 200 amps. This project was completed during 2025 when tariffs were being put in and removed and the federal tax rebate was cancelled as of the end of the year. All Bay found a way to keep the project on schedule through all of these complications and completed the project in time to claim the rebate. The system is now functioning very well. I would recommend All Bay Solar to handle your project.

Great working with this whole team, communication was great, the quality of the work and follow through was excellent. Would definitely recommend them for any solar installation. we liked working with them so much that we are currently hiring them again to do some work on a portion of our roof. Definitely a huge bonus that these guys do their own electrical and roofing in addition to solar installation.

All Bay helped us through permitting and executed the solar install quickly. They also introduced us a to a roofing contractor who ended up replacing our roof as well. Great family run business - highly recommend!

I worked with the All Bay Solar team in 2024-2025 to install my solar and battery system. My installation was non standard due to my flat roof and preference for a particular battery and I really appreciated the patience, time and care the All Bay team took scope out the project. There was some minor issues with the way the system was installed, but the All Bay team took responsibility and resolved the issues promptly. All round great customer service experience.

My dealings with Carlos Aguirre and the rest of the Bay Solar to be prompt, clear descriptions of the order of tasks, timeline, and cost. They followed up with me through the when there were delays related to Trump tarrifs early in the year. I am really pleased with the way my Franklin storage battery is functioning!

This review is long overdue, as All Bay Solar Construction installed our 8-panel solar system over three years ago. Having taken this long to review their work, it's only fair to begin with how trouble-free the system has been. Since the day they turned it on, the system has been running without a hitch - literally not a single problem.

We got bids from several other solar installers, and All Bay was the most reasonable. Carlos Aguirre, the owner, and everyone on his team were great to work with. I tend to ask a lot of questions, and they were always responsive and courteous, despite it being an unusually busy time for everyone in the solar industry. We were facing the looming end of NEM 2, the older system of bill credits for the power produced by solar panels, and everyone who had a system in the works was scrambling to get it built in time to be "grandfathered," before the less generous NEM 3 rules kicked in. Carlos and his team kept their commitment and got our system built in time to meet the deadline, which will save us thousands of dollars over the life of the system. Yet they did so without any hint of having cut corners. As mentioned above, the system has worked flawlessly for over three years now.

To sum it up, I would highly recommend All Bay Solar Construction. They did a fine job for us, it was on time and on budget, and they were a pleasure to deal with. If we ever add batteries or more panels, I would not hesitate to hire them again.
