Lucas was knowledgeable, professional and kind. What I thought would be a simple job, a few new outlets and a dimmer switch, turned out to be much, much more. It is an old house so I guess I should not have been surprised. Despite this, he completed the work in a timely manner and made sure to leave everything clean.
I would absolutely recommend.

I had to replace my electrical panel. Rigo from Max Electric came in and completed the service. He was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He walked me through the entire process, patiently answering every question I had. He was so good, my neighbors wanted his card. When he was finished, he cleaned up everything. It was an awesome service. No exaggeration!

They came out to install ceiling fans, but did not install them up to code. I called them multiple times to discuss this, and they said they'd call me back, but never did. I spent over $1200 on this service and it wasn't done properly. I'm incredibly disappointed and especially by the lack of customer service. I am going to have to pay another electrical company to come and fix their shody work. Never again!

I interviewed five companies for my knob and tube replacement project and Max Electric was (by far) the most impressive. The very detailed quote for all the work set them apart from everyone else and they also happened to be the most competitive. The highly competent and careful work Konstantin, Felix, and Andrii provided was first class. In my 1925 building, the wiring was not always straight forward and they did a stellar job figuring out its mysteries, and also took special care when it came to preserving things like coved plaster ceilings and other architectural details that would have been very expensive to repair. I wouldn't hesitate using them again or recommending them to others.

I hired Max Electric to do a full rewire of a 1936 two-story stucco house at the end of 2024. The team led by Andreii Yuzko was professional and hard-working. They gave me good advice throughout the process, demonstrated knowledge of rewiring nuances, and were experienced problem-solvers. Andreii takes pride in his work and this is evidenced by the labeling of the main panel. Moreover, he is easy to communicate with as is the operations side of the company. Would recommend 👍

Max Electric helped me meet new insurance standards and upgrade my 5-unit apartment building by:
1. replacing all knob & tube wire,
2. replacing Federal-Pacific breakers with 6 new panels,
3. wiring independent laundry rooms for each unit with separate electric water heaters,
4. raising incoming power from 100 to 400 amps,
5. installing bathroom fans, lighted mirrors & towel heaters,
6. installing 240v hydronic baseboard heaters,
7. and upgrading switches and power receptacles throughout..
I found every one of Max Electric’s employees to be professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy.
I was particularly impressed by the quality of attentive project management provided by Andrii and Max. Alter completing such a large, complex project and all of the inspections, I highly recommend Max Electric!

Andrii was friendly and did a great job removing a lighting fixture in my apartment. He disassembled it making it easy to store and brought an extra cap which was needed because the one I purchased was not the right size. Definitely recommend!

After a weather "event" that caused a PG&E neutral line to blow apart, our house lost the furnace, garage door motors, various surge-protect plug bars and some light circuits. Jesse Simpson, ace Max electrician, quickly diagnosed the root causes of the repairable problems, and replaced the damaged circuit components.

Terrific! Arrived on time, and fixed all of our many electrical issues in record time, and gave us an estimate for the one that was going to be a larger project. It was a bit pricier than I expected, but he fixed more than I expected, so I'm very happy.

My living room LED light started flickering, so I decided to get a brand new ceiling fan with light to replace (I also had a kitchen light changed to a new ceiling fan). Max gave me a free estimate and scheduled an appointment a day after. I live in Oakland, but Max came on time all the way from San Francisco.
Max was very professional and focused. He brought heavy duty "boxes" for the ceiling fans so that the ceiling fans could be installed correctly and securely. These ceiling fans are operated by remotes (lights are also turned on/off by switch - I asked Max to install that way, too), so he set up the two remotes one for living room and another for the kitchen separately so that each remote won't get confused which fan to operate (it could turn on one and turn off another at the same time if the remotes were not separately set up).
Max also hooked up the remote holder on the wall, replaced a new switch for the living room ceiling fan, changed the reverse switch to the correct switch for the kitchen fan (they previous home owner had it reversed way) without charging me extra, cleaned up the working area, took all the trash including the ceiling fans' empty boxes.
Max is very knowledgeable and reliable. I will be calling him for all future electric work for my house. If you need any help for electric work, Max Electric is the place you want to call 100%. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.

My 20-unit residential building requires licensed and insured contractors to perform permitted and inspected work, which is difficult in San Francisco. Not only was Max Electric the most reasonable of several quotes, they also were exceptionally polite, professional and responsive. They even inspected an unrelated issue and resolved a minor misunderstanding promptly at their own expense. The project turned out perfectly. We definitely recommend and would work with them again. A+

Our tesla wall connector went on the fritz, called Max Electric on Thurs and they were able to come out Friday morning, right at the scheduled time. We ended up needing to replace the wall connector, which they had in stock and charged me cost for. We also replaced two breakers to increase the amps to support the charger and the cost for the labor was very reasonable! They even waived the troubleshooting fee since they did the work. Totally recommend them if you need any EV charger work! The team was a breeze to work with.
