Alex has FINALLY gotten our heat pump to work. He was incredibly knowledgeable and able to lay out all the options clearly. Will continue to go back to them with all our HVAC needs.
-
Very efficient scheduling process. Technician was on time, diagnosed the problem with our heater, and fixed it speedily. Reasonable price. Would definitely use again.

Oven temp off, they came and assessed recommended I warm the oven sooner than I usually. They also noted my hanging thermometer was broken ( the temp I had been going off of )
I used them again to install a new stove hood and vent it to the outside. Reasonably priced, tech John was easy, polite and professional. Very happy with work -
AC unit conked out during a heat wave, called them late
afternoon. Tech showed up within the hour, diagnosed a refrigerant leak and patched it on
the spot. Charged fair for the emergency, even cleaned the filters while at it. Back to cool
air quick. -
The technician was prompt and efficient. We needed a new thermostat because the furnace would not shut off and he put it in within about 40 minutes.

Invited Next HVAC out to assess and estimate installing a 3 room Mini Split system. I live in a 2 unit building, and so it’s a challenging install. Hard to get to my fuse box, hard to reach from my fuse box to the top of the building (3 floors). Alex was thoughtful and trustworthy and he gave me confidence in the manner in which to do the work and getting it done in the least impactful of ways (putting conduit on ceilings, drilling through a courtyard floor, etc). I decided to go with Next. The installation happened within a week, installers were great, listened to my feedback and always even cleaned up after themselves. I installed a Mitsubishi 3 room system, with in ceiling cassettes, and it all looks like it was here from the beginning. Can’t tell it was installed after the fact. I love my system and would recommend Alex and Next HVAC to anyone.

Excellent work, and due to John's skill, he saved me from having to replace glass tile around the installed hood/chimney. Very pleased. He also arrived on time, and completed the project swiftly.

Steve was my maintenance tech working on servicing my 5-year old Fujitsu split system today. It was challenging to reach the system in my attic to service properly but Steve was unfazed and did a thorough job. I’d hire him again in the future to service the system.

I had Next install a brand new heat pump in my condo in SF to replace an old furnace. They did a great job and price was reasonable. Some minor delays and the project ran over in terms of time but the two folks working on the project stayed late to get the job done. I would say that the only negative feedback is that the communication could have been better when delays / issues were occurring on when they would come back, etc. I had to be proactive to call their office but other than that they did an excellent job and I could not be more than happy with my new heat pump

Had a refrigerator/freezer not working, and called this company. Repair guy arrived on time, super polite, and got the job done in a jiffy and cleaned up. Highly recommend!

Next HVAC and Appliance Repair provided excellent and reliable service. The technician was professional, knowledgeable, and arrived on time. They quickly diagnosed the issue and completed the repair efficiently, explaining everything clearly. The pricing was fair, and the quality of work was outstanding. Highly recommended for HVAC and appliance repair services.

Exceptionally happy with Next HVAC. My heat pump water heater system went on the fritz and while I was able to get a replacement part from the manufacturer, none of the first 2 local HVAC companies I called knew how to install it. I was without heat and hot water for a week and finally was a lucky enough to find Next HVAC. They were able to get me on schedule Christmas week, during a series of storms. Technician Steve worked through the rain - even halting work for a bit to get protective covering to prevent water from getting into the heat pump. All in all, a good experience with what seem to be good, professional and conscientious people.

These folks were great. They scheduled a visit without much delay. The technician didn't just show up on time -- they called and asked if he could come earlier. They explained everything clearly -- including that some of the things I was seeing were entirely normal and didn't require repairs. The actual repair that was needed got done under the estimate amount. And, finally, the technician told me I shouldn't pay them until I'd observed the furnace working and felt secure that it was fixed. Bottom line, they're absolutely who I'm going to call if I have any HVAC problems in the future.

Steve from Next HVAC was a nice guy and honest too. The furnace was getting an overheating error code the past 1.5 weeks. But when he came to diagnose the problem the furnace starting working again. Instead of charging me some fictitious repair fee, he just charged me the $70 diagnostic fee which was already disclosed upfront. The furnace probably started working again because I emptied the bucket of water where the HE condensate hose was going into a few days before Next HVAC's service call. A few years earlier Innovative Mechanical came to inspect the furnace and all their tech did was remove the condensate hose from the bucket and he ended up charging me $335 for being there 1hr 15 minutes. Next HVAC was at my house maybe 45-60 minutes. Safe to say Innovative Mechanical got their money but lost a customer forever while Next HVAC gained a customer that will be calling them the next time I need a furnace repair or replacement.

The reason for the repair was that my refrigerator was not cycling off and running consistently. I know this isn't normal, because someone I know has the same exact refrigerator and it often goes off when it has reached its cooling temperature. I also shared there was an on and off humming sound that sounded like a fan not working and wasn't sure if that was the reason for it not cycling off. This was never addressed. THe tech person just adjusted the door and reported it was a seal issue and that should fix it, but since adjusting the door, the fridge has still never cycled off and the sound is still there. the fee for the diagnosis was reasonable but I was hoping for a correct assessment and my fridge hasn't been diagnosed or repaired. So paid ended up making a donation to the business because nothing was fixed.

So far, so good. The repairman showed up right on time. He quickly diagnosed the problem (faulty drain pump). Now, I am waiting for an estimate to repair it. Hopefully it will be reasonably priced. Fingers crossed.
Update: It was reasonably priced. And he came right on time again for the repair appointment So I’m happy.
Another update: when original repair did t quite fix it, they came back 48 hours later at no cost and spent about 45 minutes making it right. Highly recommend! They won’t “leave you hanging” -
Next installed a new furnace and I was very happy with the results.
Their initial selection model recommendation was exactly what I needed. They did not attempt to upsell me or try to get me to buy something fancy I did not need. The brand they chose was highly rated on consumer reports.
Their dispatcher Rose was vey helpful for scheduling and responsive.
The install techs helped walk me through a specific concern I had about dryer lint in my ducts while they installed the furnace. They showed me pictures of the inside of the vents and the work they had done. Thank you guys! -

Just showed up with no appointment. Then charged me. Do not use it at all costs.

They fixed the heating problem after listening to what I had to say in 2 days, We were without heat for a month because the previous company couldn't figure out how to solve the issue.

Not returning calls seems to be a very common thing. Yet still unprofessional. STILL waiting for an update after a week of calling daily. I’m trying to get home warranty to assign to someone else because these folks are clowns
