Our experience with Handyman Heroes was very disappointing. The initial communication and onsite visit seemed fine (we paid $85 for this), but things did not go well after that. The quote that we received was confusing and off by at least 3x the actual cost. Despite contacting them not once, but twice (by email and phone) to confirm the numbers, we were assured the numbers were correct, even though the line items didn’t add up and the hourly rates in their footnotes weren’t reflected in the total cost.
Only when we called to schedule the work did they finally admit the quote was wrong and that the job would cost significantly more than the original quote. Ultimately, we decided not not move forward with them because of their poor communication and misleading quote - would not recommend them.

Handyman Heroes is always professional, prompt and extremely capable. I’ve worked with Larry a few times and he is the best.

Wonderful service! Very easy and pleasant to schedule with over the phone. When they came out to give the quote they were very clear about what the job would look like. When it came time for the job to be done, Samuel came and was super kind and pleasant to be around. He did the job in a shorter amount of time than was quoted and it ended up costing less then half of the original quoted price. This company is certainly not a price gouging company, and on a personal level, the service was great. I loved Samuel!

Flavio did an excellent job on both tile and cabinet repair. Right on time both days, courteous, suggested and made improvements. I’d give him 5+ if I could!

Disappointed with my experience. Not only were they over budget, they under delivered. I had to finish the work myself to keep them from more than doubling the estimate. Wild.

Flavio, Jesus, and Jake did a perfect job renovating our bathroom. Careful attention to detail, respect for the house, and a spotless cleanup afterwards. They also recommended some options that look great.

Generally disappointed with their reliability. At their recommendation, they removed some weatherproofing on my house and scheduled to replace it the next business day. They later canceled that next day, leaving my house exposed to rain and fog. I had to scramble to find a different company to finish the job on short notice.

Wonderful experience... Ismael repaired and painted our damaged front door. He was incredibly professional and kind. Highly recommend!

Another great job by HH. External sticking door is now working smoothly. Two other external doors now have new weather stripping. Thanks HH!

We have used them for many different projects around the house from caulking to plumbing. They've also been amazing other than one experience with a disgruntled tech but the central team fixed the problem quickly. Every other tech has been amazing. We will always use them in the future.

Larry was well informed abt window replacement in older homes & listened and answered all my questions including extra one abt a door replacement.Do not have estimate yet so cannot speak to cost

Andres provided excellent service. Arrived on time, was very friendly, and completed the job quickly and well. Repaired and repainted wall near shower that was water damaged. Highly recommend Andres and team!

Ismael came to my house to change my bedroom door from swinging on the right side inwards to the room to the left side outwards from the room. He did a great job! It was complicated because he had to essentially remove the doorway siding on both sides and swap them to the other side so that the door had a frame to sit in. It looks as good as new and Ismael was a good communicator through all of it.

Samuel and Juan did a great job as handymen - very professional, detail oriented, and very efficient. They even checked the driveway for any loose screws to make sure there was no tire damage. The little things make a difference and the repairs were done well. Highly recommend them.

Very happy with our first HH project … repairing fire brick inside the fireplace to close off an old ash disposal pit. Easy to work with the office, prompt thorough estimate, on-time arrival, excellent work with care for our home. Will definitely use them again!

HH did various repairs in my Novato house: toilet replacement, clothes dryer vent replacement, sink removal, under sink damaged floor replacement, and more. Various ‘heroes’ were involved. All excellent.

Larry came on short notice to do a Section 326 Inspection that was required before the sale of the home could be completed. He was on time and his report submitted (with great pictures) in time to get the sale done. I will definitely use him again.

Handyman Heroes came to our unit twice for an "inspection". As part of this inspection, they took one of our lightbulbs with them and said they will promptly get a replacement. When we inquired on the return availability, we got slammed with a $1500+ invoice for the services conducted thus far. This was absolute bizarre and left me so confused. They should be paying us for taking the lightbulb instead of invoicing a massive bill. I would highly recommend looking into these "inspections". They kept insisting on it and now I know why.

Trustworthy people, really enjoy finding a professional and reliable service that stands behind their work. Jake did an excellent job, Larry went above and beyond. Highly recommend!
