I hired Handyman Heroes for a switch replacement. They sent a technician, Omar, to my place for an estimate. Omar showed up on time and provided me a couple of solutions to solve the problem. He worked quickly, and did a clean, solid job. Would definitely call them again.

Handy Man hero's were great - I would recommend them. We got our small laundry room retiled, painted and had our bathroom vanity installed. They were professional and always on time.

Damon figured out the source of the piercing sound promptly. The noise wasn’t coming from the old doorbell chime which was my conclusion but a dying kitchen timer! Genius! I wasn’t embarrassed and he was very kind I was grateful to have another set of ears and a solid mind without judgement. Yay!

Heroes team doing amazing work as always. Dan and Andres disassembled and disposed of a monster patio set in our roof that weighed a ton. It was done in record time and everything went super smooth!

Handyman Heroes was fast, efficient and did great work. Our stairs were sagging and creaking, but after the Handyman Hero visited the wooden stairs are as solid as granite and they color matched the paint perfectly. Great job, Samuel!

Anders did amazing work mounting our TV and securing bookshelves. I appreciate his detail. He was also very approachable and happy to explain everything. Would recommend to family and friends!

Handyman Heroes has completed three jobs on our house to date. Each was excellent from start to finish: they're very responsive, they communicate well, and above all the work was done beautifully including cleanup after the job was complete.
We couldn't be happier with the work; it's great to have found a reliable contractor we can get reliably good results from -- experiences with others haven't been anywhere near as good.

I had a number of smaller home repairs that had to be completed. Handyman Heroes came recommended by my neighbor. The process was quick, clear and efficient, and all the work got done with high quality. Everyone I interacted with from Handyman Heroes were lovely to work with.

Absolutely great service. Five stars all around. They were able to get me same-day service to my mom‘s house to fix multiple outlets and ceiling fans. Damon was very patient and courteous. We will definitely be using them again.

I had Handyman Heroes take care of a water heater issue I had and I was extremely happy with the results. The call was quick and efficient and the technician arrived right on time and took care of the problem in short order.
These folks were great and I will be sure to call them again when the opportunity arises.

Handyman Heroes came out to my office to do a sheetrock repair job. I called to schedule and they were super friendly and helpful and transparent about the time they thought it'd take and their pricing structure. I liked that they include updates on when the technician is going to arrive and provide a photo of the person that will be doing the work! I had Dan come out and he was very professional and efficient. Would hire again.

Had a great experience working with the Handyman Heroes team for HOA repairs. Office team has been great to communicate and schedule with and they were thankfully able to handle added billing complication due to HOA and owner scope separations.

Larry was knowledgeable and prompt with the initial walkthroughs and estimates. Andres did our repairs (demo, drywall replacement and painting, leak detection and caulking windows and doors) and was great to work with. Work all looks really good, he was always on time and communicative. I had no concerns leaving him alone at the house and he left things neat and tidy. Definitely recommend!

Handyman Heroes were exceptional. Great work and great technicians! Special shout out to Samuel and Lea for their superior work, and Vince for overseeing everything. They completed a full stairs rebuild for our rotted-out front porch steps. They also repainted the entire porch, sanded and scraped our railing and all trims on the front of our house. HH has done other work in and around our home, and they always delivery A+ work!!!

Two phenomenal employees from Handyman Heroes provided work on our home in Oakland; Andres and Omar. Andres, Omar (and the entire Handyman Heroes team) were phenomenal.

Andres provided the highest quality work with unsticking our windows and leveling our doors. Not only was the quality of work top notch, Andres was incredibly personable, took the time to educate me on his process and decision making, and gave me advice for future management of our fixtures. He was punctual and truly provided a white glove experience.

Omar was was equally incredible. Omar was onsite for 3 days handling our knob and tube electrical in the attic and grounding the outlets on our upper level. Similar to Andres, Omar provided a true white glove experience and was very educational when discussing his work and thought process. He took the time and care to ensure everything safe and secure for the long haul; no shortcuts were taken. Additionally, I was unable to be at the house beyond the initial kick off and final day, and Omar ensured to securely lock up the home each night which gave us piece of mind. He also gave us excellent advice for the future of our home and it's electrical well-being.

I will absolutely be returning to Handyman Heroes for any future work we need, and want to say thank you to Andres and Omar for their time and hard work. A 12/10 experience.

I called Handyman Heroes to install stall bars in my gym (after a failed attempt myself). Booking was super simple. Andres arrived exactly when I was told he would. He was competent, super friendly and got the job done efficiently. My stall bars are firmly in place and I have no worries about asking personal training clients to hang off them. Andres was courteous enough to wear shoe covers without me even asking and he cleaned up before leaving. Five stars! Highly recommend.

Updated review 11/2025: we also had Handyman Heroes replace our broken EV charger. Damon did an excellent job and we have upgraded from 37mph (240V 40A) to 45mph (240V 48A) charging and are happy.

We have employed Handyman Heroes for both their handyman services and plumbing services. Each time, it has been a very pleasant experience with accurate quotes, and I'm talking to within $10 of the quoted approved estimate amount, which is very impressive.

Samuel helped us in Aug 2024 perform exterior stucco patching and painting. His work was excellent and he even textured the stucco patches to match the surrounding texture, which shows the detail of his craft.

This year in Sep 2025 Ishmael helped us re-seal bathroom tub and shower tile grout, as well as kitchen countertop caulking to the tile backsplash. Ishmael did a great job - very straight lines, consistent grout and caulking, and he completely re-sealed everything in the bathroom and kitchen to prevent moisture from going into the walls.

We also had bad water hammering issues in the home because our incoming city water pressure was 105 psi, we wanted to hydro-jet our home's rear drain ahead of the rainy season, and our American Water Heater / Takagi tankless water heater completely stopped working due to it having being installed 10 years ago without service flush ports and having never been de-scaled by the previous homeowners. Jake Hankins the Plumbing Service Manager came and installed a Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) regulating our incoming water pressure to 70psi, hydro-jetted our rear drain to lateral sewer so that the home is prepared for the upcoming rain, and replaced our tankless water heater with a state of the art Navien 210A tankless system with a 15 year heat exchanger, 5 year parts, and 1 year labor warranty and service ports for annual flushing/de-scaling. The tankless heater was installed in a way that directly hooked up to our existing radiant heating system, gas hookup, and exhaust flue, and the finished work was of higher quality than the system and facilitation it replaced. All the work was done on time and in approved budget, and the quality of the work is very high. It was also less expensive to use Handyman Heroes compared to quotes from the last plumber who came to work on this home. Communication with the Handyman Heroes office personnel Kathy and Jimena were also very responsive and easy to coordinate both over the phone and through text messages.

We are happy homeowners now thanks to Handyman Heroes' excellent work. We also signed up for the new Hero Partner Plan which includes an annual home inspection of plumbing, electrical, flushing of water heater, which we know now will prevent any future heater issues. We recommend Handyman Heroes for all their services.

I’d give this service a 4.5 stars, because most of the work was great with the exception of a few issues that got resolved quickly.

I had three bidets installed in three bathrooms that have floating toilets and no available plumbing or electric for them, so this required a bit of demo work of tile & drywall to route the electric and plumbing. The master bathroom was by far the more difficult of the three given the demo and repair work.

Most of my interactions were with Jake for the plumbing and demo work, but there were others involved for the electrical and finishing work. I liked working with Jake because I appreciate honesty and transparency. There were plenty of opportunities where other contractors would have swept issues under the rug or shifted blame, but for the small leak in the connectors for example, they brought it up, he told me about it and fixed it.

The project took a week longer than expected, but there was a lot of tile and finish work that needed to be done. When it was finished, Jake and I did a final inspection, and we noticed some poor workmanship with the tile. He took this issue seriously and acted with urgency, reporting it back to Handyman Heros. The same week, someone new came and fixed the work in a half day.

Overall, I’m pleased with the outcome of the project, and I appreciate the level of professionalism and workmanship Handyman Heros provided. I’d trust them to take on any of my future house projects.
