Easy to work with, transparent pricing and no surprises!

Swan Pools designed and built our new pool. They were professional and competent on the design and construction side. The operations side of the business was good, but could have been better. We did order from Swan a passive solar system along with our pool, but ended up not using Swan's solar subcontractor. Swan refunded a portion of the cost, without complaint. We would use them again.

I had a great experience working with Richard and his team on staining my front yard fence. Richard was highly responsive and kept me well-informed throughout the process, especially when plans needed to adjust, always setting clear expectations. The crew showed up on time and did a thorough, detail-oriented job , from pressure washing and applying brightener to staining the fence. The final result looks fantastic and gives me confidence it will last for years. The stain also helped blend in the screw marks, making them much less noticeable.

I talked with a handful of companies about staining the cedar siding on my house and chose to go with South Bay Wood Restoration. From the beginning, Giovanni was very good about communicating the process he recommended based on the state of our siding, and was responsive through the end of the project. Their team sanded and stained all of the cedar at a super fair price. And unlike other companies, they didn’t pressure me to get the cedar restained more frequently than needed.

If I had one minor suggestion, it would be to ask the staff to be careful around my plants, but honestly I would rate the job 9.9/10. When the color didn’t turn out how I expected, the owner Richard wrote me a detailed explanation for why he used a particular stain and the issues with my old stain. I really appreciated the explanation and that his team did a more labor intensive process (sanding all of the cedar siding) than other quotes I received.

When the time comes again to restain our cedar, I’ll definitely be giving Giovanni and Richard a call.

After a year and a half of neglect,our outdoor furniture(table and chairs)were really faded and dull.We contacted South Bay to come out and restore them.From start to finish the job took only a day.The young man gave us a choice of a clear or a slightly darker finish which we chose.The result was fabulous and it came out better than the first day we brought it home.Both of the young men were courteous and friendly

Sanded, stained, and repaired my aging deck. After finishing the job, I reached out to have them fix a couple of spots that didn't stain well, and they promptly sent folks Professional, reliable, and fairly priced. Highly recommend.

South Bay re-stained our 7 yr. old patio furniture set. It was showing signs of aging as we had neglected it for years. The South Bay person who re-stained it was courteous and very thorough. After he was finished it looked like new again! I think we are going to get at least another 7 yrs. of life out of it thanks to South Bay.

South Bay's team of Richard/Giovanni/crew did an awesome job at eliminating the damage to our redwood stairs done by a trolley scratching the edges. The whole process was very smooth, the work done very professionally, and the final result is really great.

South Bay restored our lower deck and steps down to our pool area. That took what was frankly an embarrassment to something that we are proud to point out. We had no idea that under that horrible surface we might find a super red wood deck that now looks new. I cannot recommend them more highly if you have a gem that needs polishing!
