When we do emergency services down in the greater San Jose area, we use Sterling to reconstruct it for us. John is a true professional, knows what he is doing and can handle the customer. Because he used to working in high stress environment, a kitchen remodel or a new deck are easy for him. Definitely recommend this high integrity company.

Sterling worked on my house in St. Helena, CA. They did an incredible job with dealing with the county and helping navigate permits and variences. The house tuned out beautiful as well! They were professional and really understood OUR needs and timeline.

Had Sterling Construction come to my rental property in san jose to rebuild my fence and refurbish my cabinets. John is a great dude who is consistent with his communication. A small job but amazing satisfaction. I would recommend for any size job!

We had a small fire in our house that caused over a million dollars in smoke damage. On top of the major inconvenience of having to move out of our house for five months, we needed to find a contractor in an area where a good contractor that is available is extremely difficult to find. We feel very lucky to have met John Allender and Sterling Construction.

John was cool, calm and collected from day one. He was on time and on budget and all of his workers and subcontractors were fabulous.

I don't wish a fire on anyone but if it happens to you, definitely call Sterling Construction to put the pieces back together.

Sterling General Construction is a company of high values, with integrity and no compromise. The owner is a very caring, professional individual who gets the job done. One of my relatives needed help at their house and he was prompt to show up and help them out answer questions and resolve some issues and concerns. I know another person in the company and they are wonderful people! I would absolutely recommend anyone without any hesitation to buy their services. Sterling Construction finished everything in a timely manner like they said they would and i am thoroughly impressed. I had them remodel my whole kitchen for a new rental property i bought and as a first time home buyer they made every step of the way easier. They made sure i understood every service they were providing! Very satisfied. I would definitely suggest them, especially if you are a new home buyer, they go the ins and outs to make sure you are well satisfied with their work.

Sterling construction did an incredible remodel for my sister in law! I got to meet John who was so helpful and knew his stuff. They turned a small living room into a grand space complete with a dining area with gorgeous lines. I am so happy for them to live in such a beautiful home now that I had to write a review. You will also find the office lady Lynda lovely to deal with.

As first time homeowners who haven't gone through remodeling an entire kitchen, family room and dining room before, we really appreciated Sterling's patience in answering all our questions and also guiding us in the right direction when we had no idea where to start. Sterling was very knowledgeable with the building codes in our area which was a tremendous and made the whole process much easier.

For anyone who wants to remodel where they have real professionals who have the knowledge and staff and experience in all aspects of remodeling and codes then I would recommend Sterling. The cost was very reasonable for such quality high work. The attention to detail really impressed me! I would call them again.

We used pristine construction here at our residence for some general remodeling of the house.Allan and his crew helped us with new flooring, new wall texture, paint, and some light plumbing defiantly recommend them as there profesional and reliable.

Allan and family did an amazing job of our bathroom remodel in Burlingame. Responsive, with great communication throughout (this is incredibly important with such complex jobs). Super high quality work and attention to detail. Friendly service. Very reasonable when issues arrived. Fair price. When there were issues, "We'll take care of that for you." was music to our ears. Peter Luckiewicz from Construction On Time, Inc was excellent to work with. He is a great builder! We were fortunate to build a house in Campbell, CA. Peter handled demolition, temporary utilities, excavation, foundation, sewer plumbing, framing, windows and stucco. He is extremely hands on, relying only on a couple folks to help him out. He takes pride in his work and is outstanding. He is firm and follows plans to extreme detail. I’m looking forward to working with Peter again!

His the best contractor i have encountered the best painters omg I was trilled they finished my home I personally fell in love with home Again thank you Fermin & ardilla for such a great experience and hoang for bringing these wonderful gentleman to work in my home they would go out for there way to keep a happy customer and I’m very picky but very satisfied thank you Hoang

I'm picky. Timeliness, honesty, and follow through are required. A good finish and good clean up are important as well. Attitude is always important.
While I may have found Ruben at Cordova through Craigslist, he's one of the best contractors I've worked with in 20 years. I particularly liked that he employs his son and daughter to assist with him when he can. 5 windows and a large slider were removed and replaced all in one day. Excellent crew, excellent attitudes, excellent clean up. Highly recommend.

Milgard is a respectable California brand. We opted for a pricier Laminated glass due to noisy street next to us (we're glad we did)

The windows arrived from the factory three months later. Totally reasonable during Covid

The installation crew did a fantastic job. Always showed up on time. Kept the work area clean. Really couldn't ask for anything more
