As a first time homeowner, I was very hesitant to hire just any company to remodel my bathroom. I had my own vision for what it would look like, and I really wanted contractors who could take the vision and turn it into a work of art. I first heard of LU Construction from a family friend who recommended the company to me, so I decided to take my chances.

I was so suprised at how fast my bathroom was complete. From the original consultation until the completion of the project, I was beyond impressed. All the guys that came to work on it were so professional and friendly. They went above and beyond to clean up after themselves, and left no mess. I love the finished product so much. I have nothing but good things to say about this company. I'm very happy that I decided to go with LU Construction, the price was completely reasonable, and I now have the bathroom I've always wanted!

We have just completed the remodeling of our 3 bathrooms with this company (Mainly with Sol and his crew of people). We are very happy with the result and the entire process itself.

We met, spoke and interviewed a lot of general contractors (5 to be exact) and at the end, we decided to select LU construction because of Sol's passion and the fact that they can work with our timeline best. Sol had high energy and excellent experience knowledge level which was honestly a little bit too much at times. But he was always on top of the project progress and texted/emailed/called me to keep maintain consistent communications.
Michele, an interior designer, was absolutely a pleasure person to work with. She made things so simple to get and understand mainly the process of the remodeling including selecting the tiles, fixtures and all the finish materials. With her help and expertise, we only spent 1 day in the tile store , electricity store and few other vendors and did additional few online shopping. Everything in the bathroom looked polished and beautiful together!
Throughout the process Sol's crews showed up on time, worked diligently, and were easy to communicate with. In particular the tile guy was very hardworking and detail-oriented. Towards the end of the project, a few minor items were not quite done to our liking. When we mentioned it to Sol, he had the crew fixing it right away and made it perfect.
With all the horror stories you hear about contractors, we feel very lucky that we found Sol's team!

Friends of mine had recommended LU Construction after having some projects completed with them. When it was time to have my roof redone, I decided to call them out for a consultation. The man that came out gave excellent insight and payed extra attention to detail. The estimate he gave was the price I paid, which was not what I was use to with other companies. The projected was completed with professionalism and accuracy. I am very happy with the finished project. I will be back for any future projects.

One of our family members had previously hired LU construction for a bathroom remodeling project and they were very happy with them. When we mentioned that we are thinking on remodeling our kitchen, our family insist that we should contact them and see what they can do for us and they said that for sure we will be happy with them. We called them and we asked for a meeting to discuss the project. We met with David and he was very nice person and he kept asking question in order to understand what we want to achieve and what is our style, budget and more….After this meeting, we felt that we can count on them for client service, quality and great communication, and this completely support everything that our family said originally about them. Our kitchen project was a major remodeling at our house, and it included knocking down a wall, replacing the old cabinets with all new custom ones, new stainless steel appliances, new flooring. Like with any remodeling project, we had come unexpected problems but David and his people informed us about them and gave us few options on how to solve them and they were very clear about any other cost that might be and how long will it take them to solve them. They were flexible and understandable with our requests and concerns about anything including the design selections. They were respectful to us during the work and they made sure that we will have a clean space near the kitchen while they were working. We couldn't be happier with how the new kitchen came out.

I met with David and Shay for an initial assessment at my home. They were on time, professional, courteous and offered much detail and expertise in what was needed to complete my home rebuild/restoration. It was very refreshing, and I am very grateful. It would not have been an easy job, because I had a breach of contract (the previous contractor left me hanging - no communication in midst of job). David was willing to take over - not only that, he offered valuable expert advice about permitting process, what that entails, etc. (the previous contractor failed to obtain the permits I thought they were going to obtain PRIOR to beginning of contract work). David and Shay also provided me with names of clients - who gave me excellent reviews of their work, their professionalism, ease of communicating with them, and much more - SOLID reviews. I would have vey much liked to have been able to continue to work with them, but it wasn't meant to be this time around. If by chance I get to build my new dream home, down the road, David will be the one and only person I call (LC Construction). David showed me around their showroom (in progress), as well as a brand new home they are in process of building - all really very nice. I would say that a BIG plus is that David is willing to work with the client through A-Z. He also communicates with you to ensure that what was discussed is clear to the client, and that the client has a clear understanding of what is proposed. I really appreciate all his thoughtfulness. I will be recommending David/Shay/LC Construction to all my family/friends/colleagues!! Top notch!

Hiring LU construction and working with Ben was a great and smart decision to do. We recently did our huge kitchen transformation. The job included the removal of few walls, ceilings popcorn being removed, new plumbing, new lighting and outlets with some smart home features etc...The interview process was very intense and massive. We feel we interviewed a fairly amount of contractors (7)! We talked and met a variety of people/companies, from small to large. We called to each one and spoke to them over the phone and did a research about them making sure that they have valid license, insurance and bond. We talked to few secretaries that couldn’t say our names correctly even and made mistakes with the appointment schedules. When we called Ben from LU construction he (the owner) answered...huge and big advantage on the rest. Some of the contractors that visited our house for an estimate would either agree to all of our requests by saying, "absolutely or of course" yes we can knock down this wall and not worry about support. And some of them kept telling me how they wanted to model our kitchen, not listening to our requests or ideas... Ben was a very straight to the point kind of guy and without any selling stories. He told us we could knock down walls but be sure about any support beams that would have to stay or replaced. The first day we talked through the design and all the financing options. Since it was our first big project, we honestly didn’t have any idea about how much it could cost. The demolition was quick and clean. It took them only 2 days to complete this task. The working team were very nice to us and we got to know a lot about them. They made sure to use plastic covers every day and sweep up at the end of every day and made sure our house was livable. We ran into some of the beam support issues we mentioned above. Ben came up with a great solution that caused us to redesign the kitchen look. Ben came up with a suitable layout that worked for us. This actually changed the focal point of the kitchen and we loved the new look with this change. The project took a bit longer than we thought it would but was within the time frame that Ben promised us. We could've had it done in less time but we wanted to take our time and to make sure that we are comfortable. The final kitchen is really stunning. We can see that there was a lot love, care, special touch and craftsmanship into the smallest finishing details. Ben was on site almost every day. If it wasn't him, then his foreman was. He was equally as professional and committed as Ben was. Ben saw every step all the way through and ensured no detail was over looked. There was even a few details we asked for at the beginning of the project that we failed to remind him of that made its way into the final product. We were really happy to see this. There were several of small problems and things that needed to be addressed after the project ended, but Ben was there. He popped in to make sure all was still good. He does this because the house needs a chance to settle in a bit. He addressed them no problem. OVERALL EXCEPTIONAL JOB by Ben and his team at LU construction. We will definitely be working with him again!!!

We approached this Construction company through the sales team before COVID time to build a backyard cottage . We were assigned with a project manager who did fair negotiation and also educated us with the process. While the approval from the city took some time the project was started soon after the approval .
Unfortunately the 1st pm left but the owner and a new project manager Shai was assigned.
He drove the project changes huddles all very smoothly.
Highly rating the construction company with complete package of committed designed , project manager , construction worker.
They do live to the commitment and partner well through the development.

If I do another project , I wouldn't think twice before going back to LU Construction.

We worked with Lux construction to rebuild our house in San José, California.

We decided to go with Lux because, after talking to several construction companies, Lux was the only one that really listened to what we wanted to do rather than trying to sell us something we didn't want. In addition, we liked the fact that they handle everything: from planning, to architecture, design, permits, demolition, construction, finishing, etc. at a very competitive price.

During the rebuild process, they completed all tasks on time, always addressed our concerns in a friendly manner, and were always open to listening to our ideas. All this was done as budgeted per the contract with no surprise extra fees.

Because of the trust we built with them, we will continue working with Lux to rebuild our garage and redo our whole backyard.

Lux Construction saw through the build of our ADU which we are now renting to a happy tenant. The whole process was amazing with them. They always came with choices for solutions if we had to find a workaround, and never had surprising costs beyond what we had discussed. If something did come up unexpected we were all informed and making decisions together with our approvals. Various times they took initiative to redo things that I thought were fine, but they wanted them to be even more perfect. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy the entire time, and everything happened according to the timelines we initially agreed upon. Knowing we could count on costs and timelines was amazing, but even more than that, we enjoyed the people we worked with and felt like we reached our milestones all together as a team. Their knowledge from other ongoing projects and previous builds carried over, and everyone was trustworthy on our property and hard-working. We can’t wait to do another build someday with the Lux Construction team!

ICO built a 600sf master BR suite addition for us. Their proposal had a superior format and was moderately priced. Their staff is very competent, courteous, and easy to work with. Ivan is very responsive and communicates quickly which made it a pleasant experience. There were very few change orders requested by us. The workmanship and final result was very good. The specialty subcontractors utilized were all experienced. We would recommend ICO to anyone looking for good value and quality.

We hired Ico Construction company to convert our attached garage to a ADU.
After interviewing other companies for the big project they were the best choice because They were willing to work with us on our schedule and budget. They explained the hurtles ahead and worked through the city's process which practically changes every time an inspector shows up. They are very responsive and professional and I highly recommend this company and would hire them for any other construction project in the future. AAA+++ rating

Ivan is the best contractor you can ask for... period!
From the moment I met him, I could tell that he was an honest man of integrity. That was the primary reason that we hired Ivan to rebuild our house. Our project was a complete tear down of the existing structure and an addition of about 1,000 sq/feet.
My main concerns with selecting a contractor were: staying on budget, staying on schedule and quality.
1) Budget - our project, which was massive, was exactly on budget. The only things that exceeded our budget were finishes or changes to the plan that I wanted. (Note to user: if you want to stay on budget, go through every single detail. Small things such as power outlet location, ceiling light locations and switches, etc. when you submit your plan. You are being quoted for a precise plan, and any change or new idea you get may not be accounted for).
2) Schedule - Ivan quoted our project to take 8 months. We moved in 8 months to the day from when we moved out. It was amazing.
3) Quality - I can't say enough about the quality of his team's work, the integrity of his product and the final outcome. Ivan spent a lot of time with me during the construction phase making sure we planned every single detail perfectly. He accommodated all of my crazy needs (sensor LED lights in the closet, unplanned skylights in the kitchen, etc) and was super flexible and honest in every discussion we had.
Thanks to Ivan and ICO, we are now living in our dream house. Ivan has become a family friend of ours and is always welcome in our home. I strongly recommend Ivan to anyone looking for a contractor.

Highly recommend Ico Construction. They did a remodel of my guest bathroom and it came out amazing! They made great recommendations like a fog-less backlit mirror, floating vanity and toilet! Came out great! Will be doing my kitchen remodel with them next year!

Hard to find good work in the area. These guys show up when they say they will, are on time, and perfectionists. Ivan, the owner is very professional and easy to work with. 100% recommend!
