Scott and his team remodeled our laundry room and guest bathroom. His service and professionalism is best in class.

The areas of the house that Scott and his team worked was full of different angles and needed floor leveling. Scott was able to fabricate the custom cabinets, so there wasn't another vendor to coordinate with. By fabricating the cabinets himself, he was able to beat the time frame that was provided by the cabinet shops and still be in budget.

Living in Redwood Shores can be challenging with sloping floors, however Scott was able to level the floors out while making perfect transitions into the adjacent rooms.

I would definitely work with Scott again. He is definitely best in class in residential construction. Our laundry room and bathroom came out exactly the way we wanted it.

We have been working with Scott for the past two years on a very full and extensive renovation of a nearly 100 year old property in Palo Alto. We had previously been recommended to Scott to undertake some small works. This project was very different.

Scott really understands the value of preserving our limited heritage in the Bay area. He enjoys working on old buildings and understands the challenges and the intricacies of working to ensure that the character is maintained but that the building is comprehensively updated.

Scott and his team replaced all heating, wiring and plumbing in the house. The whole building was stripped back to the frame. Many said to us why don’t you just tear it down. We did not want to do this and Scott was there with us in supporting a renovation approach. The result is a fully up to date property that still has character and history.

In addition to all the work undertaken on the house including ensuring we adhered to current codes including earthquake requirements, Scott’s Blackbird cabinet shop build our kitchen, mud room and bathroom cabinets. This work was to the highest quality. He also build walk in closet fittings. I cannot recommend this more.

We met a number of the crew who worked at the house. They were all very skilled and experienced. This includes the various dub-contractors. Having a lead contractor who knows all the right people is very important.

We built a strong working relationship with Scott which carried us through some frustrating delays, some caused by materials shortages and some by choices on finishes. I felt that I was able to trust Scott which was critical as we were managing the project remotely from Europe.

In summary I wholeheartedly recommend Scott and his team. The real tests are would I recommend to a friend, yes and would I work with them again, definitely yes.

We were fortunate to be referred to Trudel Construction to repair water damage in our laundry room area as well as replacing the kitchen & laundry room floor. We also had them replace some toilets and a sink.

Scott and his team understand fully the information and format that must be provided to an insurance company to accurately reflect damage. This is necessary in order to receive financial reimbursement for covered claims. This is no small thing and all details must be provided.

Trudel Construction repaired water damage to the subflooring, framing, and sheetrock. The result is that it looks like there was no damage. In addition to the quality job, everyone was easy to talk to and answered my questions. Scott helped me with areas I was unfamiliar with such as how pick flooring, types of suitable materials, pricing and more.

Scott uses specialists in each area of work and they are all talented. They arrived as scheduled and completed work on time and were polite and helpful. The worksite was always kept clean and organized which we appreciated.

I should add that our construction kicked off when COVID-19 hit and we had to deal with some delays with insurance, materials and city permits. 2021 - Scott and his crew are great. He managed a very complex remodel for us. Only two contractors would consider the job and only Scott had a positive attitude about it. The design was quite a structural challenge but he came through and the results are amazing. This includes a creative new entrance to the basement. Our house was beautifully transformed.

We hired Trudel construction to do a complete remodel of our home and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Scott and his team, Oscar and Daniel did an amazing job for us!
