Charles and his team are a phenomenal bunch. Highly professional and super easy to work with. Quality of work is stellar. They did my kitchen remodel, the end product turned out great. I requested for a custom range hood; they took my design inputs and shared their recommendations through out the process. The range hood is now the focal point in my kitchen and I couldn't have asked for better.

I recently purchased a townhome but wasn't quite satisfied with the countertop, color, and flooring choices. I was looking for a firm to help me upgrade all these things and more. Z Design offered a complete set of services, from flooring to electric installations to painting, and went above and beyond to ensure the project went exactly according to my specifications. Charles even coordinated all the workers to get the work done ahead of schedule. Would highly recommend!

Charles and his team are simply amazing! He has a lot of experience in remodeling since he was able to give us very good ideas. Knocking down the wall made the open layout very functional living and kitchen area. The main work was remodeling the kitchen. Starting from designing phase to the completion, Charles and his team are very professional and skilled. It was very easy to work with them. We love our new kitchen and would absolutely recommend them!

We were pressed on time. Charles, Bing and his team renovated our kitchen from ground up in 2 weeks and it was all ready before thanksgiving in 2020
Their team is very fast and did the thorough job. The crew came on time and even worked on Sundays to do the work including Demolition, counter top, cabinet, paint, plumbing, finishing touches. Bing supervised the job and we are very happy with the fully renovated kitchen.

The crew wore masks at all times which kept everyone safe.

We used Z design construction in our previous home too for kitchen renovation. Highly recommend them to anyone and we have recommended them to our friends in the past and our friends have hired them and were happy with the results :)

Charles and his crew did an excellent job on two bathroom remodels. We are thrilled with the final results and couldn't be happier. Throughout the whole timeline from visiting the showroom to demo to wrapping up, Charles and his crew were available via text, email or phone. I never waited more than a few minutes to hear back any time we had a question or concern. Charles' crew is very attentive and punctual. They cleaned up after themselves at the end of every day. They were very careful of not damaging any other part of the house. I received updates to the invoice at periodic times all throughout the process. There were never any surprises with cost or otherwise. My only regret is not finding them sooner. Highly recommend Charles and Z Design!!

I hired Nick after my home suffered water damage. I received three bids but chose him based on past experience and the trust I have in his work. Throughout the project, he was always available, responsive, and genuinely committed to helping—often reminding me, “It’s my job to take care of you.”

When an insurance adjuster came out, Nick showed up right away to advocate on my behalf, even though the claim was ultimately denied. Despite that setback, he and his crew did an excellent job repairing sheetrock, reinstalling cabinetry, and restoring my fireplace.

Nick kept me informed every step of the way and went above and beyond when I wanted a unique fireplace design—visiting multiple showrooms to find the perfect materials. The final result is beautiful, and the craftsmanship was meticulous. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again.

We hired Nick to demo/remove carpet in our home office and install laminate flooring. From the very beginning he was super helpful in helping us select the right laminate product, being transparent about which products will perform the best and what is worth the money and what isn’t. The work he did was great and it’s clear he takes pride in the product he produces. 10/10 would recommend him and plan to use him for future rennovations!

Nick did excellent work and was very professional. He gave a fair estimate and was able to meet it. Best of all he came on short notice !!!

I highly recommend DLCS Builders.I was so nervous and stressed out because I had extensive repairs, including dry rot, etc Window and slider installation. Nick was so professional, kind and so helpful. He answered all my questions and made me feel at ease . Nick has a strong work ethic, meticulous and great communication . Nick was responsive on first call. We called him on a Saturday and he was able to fix our toilet leak and replace the water damage on the flooring the next day. He did an excellent job returning the bathroom in pristine condition. He was very polite and easy to work with. We will definitely call on him again.

Nick de la Cruz responded immediately to my post regarding a leaky toilet. He was out the very next afternoon, after he graciously picked up a new toilet for me. He installed the toilet quickly, as well as securing some flooring that was loose. He seems very knowledgeable about his trade, was easy to talk to, and his prices were on point! I'll be calling Nick for many more projects.

DLCS builders remodeled the original master bathroom in our home & we couldn’t be happier!!! Nick and his employee Ismael were a pleasure to work with. The estimate fell in line with others we had received, but went with Nick based off of a referral from a good friend as well as references.

Nick is incredibly responsive & stayed in constant contact throughout. They showed up on time and left the space clean when they finished at the end of the day. He works with GREAT subcontractors for plumbing and electrical, who were equally as professional! Our bathroom looks amazing, and based on such a great experience, we intend to have him do our Guest bathroom next.

UPDATE 2024:
We had Nick come back to remodel our guest bathroom and he did an incredible job! We couldn't be happier with him as a person, and the work that he did for us!

Best contractors ever! Nick totally relieved my stress level by giving his ideas, opinions, and even directing me to all the right places to look as renovating our condo due to a sewer back up was horrendous. Very easy to talk to, gets back to you when you have questions, and helps whenever he can. I highly recommend DLCS builders. I will definitely use them again should I have to do anything again!!

He came to us highly recommended by our neighbors...Nick installed a door for us, in a space that didn't previously have one, he was meticulous in how he matched the trim, door, hardware ect (without us even discussing). He finished the project so fast! And he did a great job of prepping the area so there was no cleaning needed once he was done. His pricing was super fair and he was very direct. He has a great personality, allowing my daughter to show him her artwork, just the kind of person you want to work with. We have a list of projects he will be helping us with in the future. Definitely recommend!!

Nick completely remodeled our main late 1980's bathroom, converting the tub/shower to a beautiful walkin tiled shower with new flooring, vanity, mirror. lighting, & exhaust fan. The work involved moving & reconfiguring some of the existing plumbing and electrical. Throughout the job, Nick and his crew including his plumbing & electrical subs were professional & respectful of our home.

We went with Nick because his Bid was competitive but more than that the bid was was much more detailed and complete in describing the scope of work and the costs associated with each task. We felt confident going in that we understood the work and the cost of the work. As we'd hoped there were no surprises.

Nick was also an excellent communicator. Each day he let us know the estimated scope of work and start and end times for the upcoming day.

We love our new bathroom and plan to have him renovate the master bathroom in the spring.
