I was very happy with all of the detailed work Indaspec did for me during my solar panels installation process.

We were very pleased with Indaspec. They were very professional and prompt. They removed our solar panels, removed our existing roof, did all repairs that were needed, installed a new roof and gutters, reinstalled solar panels and cleaned up and disposed all debris all with in 1 week , and scheduled all inspections and signed off permits the following week. We got 4 estimates and are very glad we went with Indaspec. We would refer them to any one who asked for the services they offer. Thank you Indaspec for a job well done

As an Eichler homeowner, with a pitch roof as well as a tung and groove, tar paper and gravel flat roof, it took some years to find an installer that had the knowledge to install solar panels on our flat roof.

We talked to many companies about the installation of solar panels but none of them left us feeling comfortable and confident until we met with Indaspec Smart Roofing and Energy Solutions.

They are a family-owned business focused on great customer service and making sure we were notified of all events concerning this project from beginning to end. We were well informed so there were no surprises. Indaspec was timely in their estimated timeline and the work was completed as scheduled. The installation and the clean up was impeccable.

Saul and Meg Inda were so patient in explaining the solar panel system and how it works. After the project was completed, we needed more instruction on how to use the app on our cell phones so Saul made a special visit to sit down with us to explain everything we needed to know.

Indaspec was great to work with and they made everything about the project “painless” for us. They were easy to contact when questions arose, prompt to get back to us and always made us feel we were their number one priority. We always felt confident in our choice in working with them and highly recommend them to anyone who may have a “challenging” roof.

Hi, I signed solar panels and batteries installation contract with Indaspec company during end of August. Estimate and technical proposal was done in excellent and proper manner. Company won contract competing with five other proposals. Work was started in two weeks and completed perfectly in 4 days. Technicians and electricians arrived in the morning on time and finished by 4pm. All was done in clean and well maintained setup and environment. My family received training and explanation of equipment with app installation. Company follow up with permit sign-off and all was completed in 7 weeks. Project was managed by supervisor Meg perfectly with quick and accurate lien release. Engineer manager Saul follow all work done control, equipment set up, and permits processing. All is working perfectly and have zero import Energy from supplier with positive export to State. Great job and highly recommended company Indaspec. Regards.

Excellent, professional and easy to work with!
Had this company take over a solar+battery project abandoned by another company (Greentech developers). They worked with me patiently to explore various options and were flexible in doing just the work that needs to be done. Found a solution, finished the project efficiently and priced it all very reasonably compared to other options I had. Highly recommended!

IndaSpec replaced our nearly 20-year old solar panels and installed 2 house batteries. Their communication was excellent and overall was the best I've experienced with any contractor. There were a few existing circumstances they found that could have added expense, yet they came up with clever solutions that avoided the extra cost and easily passed inspection. This is a family run business that cares deeply about customer satisfaction and they have my strongest recommendation.

They installed our battery backup and also Span panels and did additional roofing work after that. Excellent work. The owner is very accessible and responsive.

Gilberto and his team did an excellent job replacing my roof. They started and finished on time, and the new roof looks fantastic. I'm very happy with the results! Their pricing was very competitive, and Gilberto was a pleasure to work with—patient, knowledgeable, and always willing to answer my questions. Very friendly and accessible staff. They continue to work with us to perfect the settings. The batteries are just what we needed to truly lower our power bills. The electric bills are now almost nonexistent
Our PGand E power went off yesterday- but we didn’t even realize it was off until PGandE called us to tell us it was off! The house kept running as if nothing was amiss.

We hired Indaspec to install a battery backup system for our existing solar set up. They are the best company I have encountered in this space.

I have contacted a few other companies over the past several years to explore this project. None were as knowledgeable, some seemed wedded to particular vendors, and in some cases, other companies proposed much more expensive remediation of existing home wiring/circuit panels to complete the job. Indaspec's folks were great at identifying and explaining options, and exhibited high degrees of customer orientation and strong execution throughout.

Every person I interacted with at the company was top notch. Their sales rep spent time on the roof with me, patiently explaining things, and even working to fix a couple of issues he could see on the fly. The communication was timely, courteous and accurate from start to finish, and the installers were hard working, clean and highly professional in their workmanship. And since we were on vacation during parts of the process and didn't have a chance to take a walkthrough of the finished work, the owner himself volunteered to come out a couple weeks after the fact and took the time to ensure that all of our questions were answered, we understood future options, etc.

I live in the hills above Los Gatos. Solar and battery storage are critical for us as we have roughly 75 outages each year. The company I installed with abandoned the project. I went through multiple others and have been experiencing issues for four years. Recently, we had roof repairs and and our power systems failed. Our general contractor for the roof screwed stuff up and just couldn't finish the job. I contacted *every* contractor/installer who was certified by the company. Only Indaspec responded.

David and Saul jumped in to diagnose the underlying long term issues. We didn't have a contract and they didn't ask for one. They isolated the issues, obtained RMAs from the supplier and THEN they cut a contract with us. Saul came out and spent tons of time with me. He validated the underlying problems and issues, and also discovered other dangerous issues that we unresolved by the prior contractors. He scheduled a team to uninstall, inspect, repair and replace or reinstall all of the equipment.

I've been fighting this problem for several painful years. I would have paid them ANYTHING they asked. They gave me a fixed price bid that was soooo low I couldn't believe it. They said that because they took the time up front to 1) ensure that they could actually fix the issues, and 2) address they thoughtfully and systematically. Saul discussed all the 500 mistakes I had made and my prior contractors made over time and coached me on how to avoid this.

These guys are competent, articulate, patient, fair and ethical. I trust them completely.

I had Indaspec add a FranklinWH battery, Span subpanel for critical loads, and the Span EV charger to my existing solar PV system. Everyone I dealt with was very knowledgable: William in sales, Saul the electrician on site visit, the installers, and the office staff dealing with PG&E paperwork, etc.

What most stood out, however, was service after sales. Only a couple months later, I started getting notifications that I was off-grid due to an outage or unstable grid power, but the outage duration was only 5 minutes. Then this started happening more often, plus flickering lights, so right during the holiday season I contacted Indaspec. Saul came out to figure out what was wrong.

After a thorough investigation, Saul identified that the problem was actually with PG&E, somewhere in my service line since neighbors were unaffected. Sure enough, PG&E confirmed and fixed the problem the next day.

Incidentally, the system saved both my Christmas eve dinner (forced off-grid mode to fix flickering lights) and my early New Year's Eve celebration (while PG&E had me disconnected during repairs). I was so glad to have it!

Indaspec did a fabulous job — on time, on budget, right the first time. That was nearly four years ago and our system (solar + storage) has been running smoothly ever since. I couldn't recommend the Indaspec team highly enough.

Highly Recommend this company. I wanted to get a Solar Battery before the Fed Tax Incentives went away in Dec 2025. Contacted Indaspec at beginning of Sept, Signed contract on 16th. They were lowest bid for the Franklin aPower/aGate system and i was crossing my fingers that i didn't make a mistake. Could not be more pleased with this company. They gave me a detailed list of everything that was included with the job so i didnt have to worry about any late add on's as been my experience with other companys. They provided a 4 step timeline estimate and met every milestone. They were responsive, friendly, prompt, called when they would be alittle late, cleaned up and answered all my questions. In this day and age with quality workmanship falling by the wayside, this company far exceeded all my expectations.
With so many solar/roofing companies going out of business, this company has shown why they are still going strong.
My final City Inspection was signed off Dec 2, 2025

I was looking for solar for my home a little over a year ago. We called for a quote from a major player in the field. When I spoke to them, I got a real swarmy feeling. I felt like they were just trying to sell me an off-the-shelf solution that they were comfortable doing. A friend of a friend had a bad experience with another installer, had Indaspec do the work and highly recommended them, so I spoke to them.

In my initial conversations with them, I had a great feeling about them. They really know about solar installation and we worked together to design a great system. At first, I was thinking of just adding solar, but through the design process I realized that my home should embrace solar more; for that reason I decided to get rid of my gas furnace and hot-water heater and move to heat-pump based solutions. I think a lot of solar installers can do the solar and battery installation, but Indaspec are experts at a broad range of fields from solar, batteries, roofing, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC (and maybe others I don't know about).

The installation process was a breeze. They always showed up on time and always acted professionally. I would rate their workmanship as excellent. For example, because we got rid of all the gas appliances, we no longer needed the gas vents on the roof. They removed the vents and patched the roof. In this way, we achieved an attractive square solar panel array on the house. It looks really great!

After living with the system for a year, it still operates very well. It's definitely saved us money, and, in the summer, the house is always comfortable. I highly recommend Indaspec if you are considering solar for your home. The price may have been a little more than the "major players," but if you want the job done right, I don't think you can do better.

We wanted wanted backup batteries for our solar panels and into spec. Did an excellent job installing them. If there were ever any issues, they would respond immediately. Very professional and helpful. I strongly recommend this company.

Indaspec is terrific to work with. They guide you through the entire process of obtaining solar and back up batteries. Our roof needed some changes and they handled that well, too. We liked every single employee of Indaspec that came to our home. The office managers are responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. We didn't need them for plumbing, HVAC, etc., but we will consider them for such needs in the future. We highly recommend them!

Very impressed with Indaspec. We had them install the solar panels and Tesla PowerWall 3 in our home in Santa Cruz (and a Tesla wall charger for our car). It was seamless throughout and everything went off without a hitch. I loved the high touch and great communications throughout the project.
