Delta Electric

I find it hard to find an electrician, plumber, general contractor, etc. If you're old and ignorant like me, you have no way of knowing if what the professionals tell you is true, if their estimates are gouges vs. reasonable. I was DELIGHTED with Delta and with Derrick. The initial communication was same-day. He arrived within the promised window on the next working day. (I did not have to wait for 3 weeks.) He knew EXACTLY what the problem was, diagnosing it immediately. He had equipment with him--screws, etc.--that had nothing to do with electricity per se. There were no up-sells or gouges; he told me that my bell box was old and worn out, but that I didn't necessarily have to purchase another one if he could get the screws to "catch." Many times, if you search a business and they have no reviews, it gives pause, right? Well... ... ...some established businesses don't have a lot of posted reviews because they do just fine with word-of-mouth. I am "sold" on tradespeople who have enough experience to charge by the job and not by the hour. I value personal service over getting a "deal." I don't review publicly when I have a negative experience--I deal with the issue in private. So, if you think my reviews are worthless because I am generous with my ratings, please believe it's because I post reviews for "OQP." ("Only Quality People.") These guys are the real deal. What is more, since they are an established business, they know other professionals and can make meaningful referrals.
