We worked with Eshed on our remodel. We are really impressed by his speed of execution. He got us the build permit before our escrow closed. The demolition was done in a couple of days. We passed all of our inspections in one go. Eshed also installed a new electrical panel for us for the AC units, which is very nice. The job site was also very clean and neatly managed.

We were looking to renovate our outdated kitchen for a few years already, but we always put our plan on hold because finding a great construction team is really difficult. We generally hear horror stories and dissatisfaction on other construction companies. But it's a DIFFERENT story working with Bay Builders this last December 2019.

From the first encounter of getting a quote, Tal, the project manager, has always been so professional and knowledgeable. He also seems like the type of person who are on top of things, responsible, and responsive. True enough he lived up to our expectations.

Beautiful Design is included with the project and the process from the beginning of planning, the execution, and the final results are all very satisfactory for us. They made sure that we still have livable and clean space for us during the constructions. They always clean up afterwards each day, put up plastic sheets walls and taped up everything very neatly. These are very important to us, since we have a small kid. Rene, who is the foreman of the project, is very professional and awesome as well. He made sure things are going according to plan and everything goes smoothly. They are very responsive in term of any request for touch up or fixing imperfections.

Of course sometimes there are hiccups and challenges during construction, such as faulty appliances. We were so appreciative of Tal and Rene’s help in returning our faulty appliances to the store, and thus we were able to repurchased new appliances with no problem.

We love our new kitchen and everything finished in a timely manner. We would definitely recommend Bay Builders Construction to all my friends, and work with them again for the future projects. Thank you Tal and Rene!

We were looking to build an addition to our house and came across Bay Builders & Remodeling. We received several bids and chose Bay Builders because of competitive planning pricing and the fact that they were the only company we evaluated which covered all stages: planning, design and building, and credit planning cost toward building expenses. Now that our project completed, I can tell that we have made good choice. We are very impressed with quality of work.

Every construction project (especially big one as house addition) is not ideal. There will be always surprises, issues, etc. Obviously, quality is very important for us, but equally important is how issues were resolved. Bay Builder were there for us along all the stages and resolved hiccups very fast and with high quality. I give credit to our project manager Gilad. He is super responsive and very scrupulous. He would visit project site very often and point out issues or give directions to contractors. I would always rely on Gilad to perform quality work.

I would like to especially emphasize quality of the preparation work and work ethics by Bay Builders. Our project was caught in the middle by COVID19 shutdown. But even before government initiated shutdown and work was stopped, Gilad personally made sure to isolate building site from the rest of the living space. They setup plastic tarp from wall to wall and from ceiling to floor, so site was completely sealed and isolated (see attached picture showing view from construction site), which was very important for elderly members of our family. Even taking into consideration that project was stopped for couple of months due to pandemic, we were impressed how fast project was completed. Kudos to Gilad for great planning and execution.

These guys were great! I did a whole kitchen remodel with them and from start to end, their team was ethical, always available, honest and easy to work with. The quality of work is excellent! We first found Bay Builders after looking at a new home they had built in San Carlos. We were obsessed, but for a number of reasons it wasn't the right home for us. Flash forward a few months, we bough another house and after meeting with several contractors, we chose to work with Bay Builders for the spring and summer of 2019. Gilad helped us reimagine our kitchen, recommending us remove a wall to totally transform the downstairs. He has great attention to detail and great taste. He never hesitated to share his opinion which helped guide our selections throughout. The team was dedicated and thorough and came through down to the last detail.

Our kitchen is gorgeous! Their work was methodical and high quality and everything we asked for was accounted for. We made many of the tile, countertop and hardware selections ourselves which gave us greater flexibility and bought most of the materials on our own but Bay Builders coordinated the delivery. The cabinets are pristine (solid, beautiful white shaker cabinets) and tie the whole place together. Pricing was transparent and didn't increase, the office ran an organized process and everything was extremely clear and easy for us.

We're so thrilled with our new kitchen and know it will be the center of our home for years to come. Thanks Bay Builders!

I put off our guest bath renovation for years because renovations are expensive, time-consuming and disruptive. When I finally decided to move forward, I did the first round of “interviews” with contractors recommended by various people and was presented with low-ball pricing, questionable permitting habits and an overall lack of communication. Frustrated, I put the project on hold for another year.
During “Round Two”, I met with three project managers from legitimate companies I sourced myself. All were bonded, licensed, insured and quoted roughly the same price. Ultimately, I chose Bay Builders and Remodeling, Inc. (BBR) because Tom Alony, the project manager (PM) was honest, knowledgeable and did not annoy/stalk me to get the job. Yes, I based my hiring decision on the PM’s annoyance potential.
Luckily, I made the right decision because not only did the team do a remarkable job on the first bathroom which started and stopped twice in March because of COVID-19 but on the other five rooms that they have remodeled since!!
As a PM, Tom was great to work with and made the process easy. Not only is he knowledgeable and fun, he saved me thousands by acting as my voice of reason during our creative design sessions by offering practical recommendations and substitutions for my “dream” fixtures-spot on every time and I cannot be happier with each design.
He was an excellent manager of all six projects (completed in less than five months) and of his talented and hard-working team. Carlos and Jose were true artists when it came to design and execution. I never expected to see such a high level of perfectionism from contractors. Carlos designed an amazing and flawless tile patterns and Jose took a class to learn a specific metallic faux paint technique that I decided I “needed” to have to make my design complete. Juan was great and has since helped us with plumbing emergencies unrelated to our core projects. It is always weird to have “strangers” in one’s home but in a matter of days this team seemed like family and, now that all of the projects are complete, we are sad that they are gone (especially our dog who still waits for them at the front door every morning). We are beyond thrilled with our new spaces and all the compliments we have received.

I highly recommend Bay Builders to anyone looking to remodel! I was referred to them from a very good friend. Bay Builders updated my friend's bathroom. It was a dream master bathroom, so I contacted Bay Builders. It was such an easy and smooth process! After speaking to Shiri, I was convinced even more that I was making the best decision. She answered my questions and scheduled me for a free estimate. John, one of the project managers, arrived and was very helpful! Gave me great suggestions that made sense. Shortly after, construction began. We should be completing the project in a few more weeks, but what I'm seeing so far...I want to fast forward to see the final product!

We had our guest bathroom remodeled with Tal as the PM and Miguel the lead contractor. Both Tal and Miguel are very positive people and pleasant people to work with. Communication went very good, they gave us good advice based on their experience and their good tastes. The workers were on time, very friendly and courteous which make the whole experience very easy on us. Their work was methodical and high quality. The inevitable small glitches that came up were addressed timely and fixed at our satisfaction.

The whole remodeling took 2 weeks, which was much less than expected and was a great plus for us. At the end of the day, we are very happy with the outcome and we highly recommend Bay Builders and the skilled specialty subcontractors they employ!

My husband and I recently purchased a carriage house that was built in 1953 that was in need of a serious remodel. Since we were planning on renting the property after the remodel, cost was a definite concern. I interviewed several design/build contractor firms before starting my project. We ultimately chose Bay Builders because they were sensitive to our budget, professional and very knowledgeable. My first meeting was with Tom and Tal. I was looking for a more modern and open floor plan. They listened to my ideas and offered suggestions of their own. They had great ideas and addressed issues I had not considered. Once I told my husband I wanted to work with Bay Builders Tom set up another meeting with my husband to meet one of the owners, Sean Zaguri to discuss the project in more detail.
They were honest and forthright about the project from the very beginning. They warned us that because the house was old once they started opening up and moving walls they might find additional problems that would need to be addressed that were not outlined in the original scope of the project. With any and all issues that came up they were forthright and honest about the additional needed repairs and cost. Pricing and costs were very transparent throughout the project. We had regular on site meetings to discuss the most cost effective way to address the additional repairs.
Tom Aloni, as my project manager was professional, easy to communicate with and kept me informed of the progress of the project through texts, pictures and phone calls. In addition, Tom is always upbeat, positive and a pleasure to be around and work with. As someone who has remodeled a home, an office and built a home from the ground up I can honestly say I have had a wonderful experience with Bay Builders and their team. My husband and I are thrilled with the finished project and I would highly recommend Bay Builders and would use them again for any future projects.

Bay Builders remodeled my master bath and laundry room. Both rooms look stunning now. My master bath didn't match the rest of my home, and it did not have a stately feel. Now it looks very luxe, modern with traditional elements. The workers took their time placing the tiles beautifully and with precision. Cabinets were installed in my laundry area making it look cleaner and neater. Anytime there was an issue, Tom or one of his staff would explain why this or that was done, and clearly explain options. Everyone at Bay Builders was honest and professional. They were a pleasure to work with, and they are excellent craftsmen.

Renee and his crew was very professional and productive everyday. They were on time and efficient with completing our bathroom remodel. They did an excellent job with a complete tear out and rebuild in our bedroom bathroom. They were able to maximize our space and give us a bathroom that looks great. They also replaced our roof...exterior painting and some windows along with some other exterior cosmetic repairs All in all they did a great job in making our vision for our home come to life.

We are currently undergoing our kitchen remodeling. We are so happy that we hired Bay Builders and Remodeling.
Our project manager, Isaac, has a very pleasant personality and he is really easy to work with. He’s constantly checking in at our site and communicating very well with me and with his coworkers. Even I have a small question, he always answers and eases my mind. In the beginning, he showed us 3D design of how the kitchen would turn out after the remodeling. It was so nice that we could visualize the final outcome in 3D. Also, he did a miracle job getting us in San Jose City inspection appointment so soon, which makes our remodeling moving forward faster than we expected.

We contracted Bay Builders & Remodeling to undertake remodeling two bathrooms and installing a completely new kitchen cabinets. The overall results have been outstanding and I couldn't be happier. This is largely due to the overall project manager Tal Monero. Tal is the consummate professional and provided exceptional customer service. From the beginning, he scoped out the entire project plan, listening and ensuring this encompassed our requirements. The plan was broken down into multiple phases, with the costs clearly outlined. He then put together and introduced us to the team implementing the project. My wife and I had limited experience with remodeling, so Tal was great, for example, introducing us to a bathroom designer who walked us through all the options available to us, within our personal taste and budget. The designer then coordinated with Tal and and the rest of the remodeling team, ensuring all the purchased items were delivered smoothly. One of the most impressive elements of Tal and the team was how they handled unforeseen circumstances. Every project will run into things not planned for. In our case, for example, the we discovered the kitchen flooring was not even in places, and this would ultimately impact the evenness of the cabinet levels. Tal and team quickly came up with a solution to build a foundation to ensure everything would be even. At the end of the day, when you work with a contractor, it comes down to trust and confidence that they have your best interest at heart, they are not going to screw you over and are looking to deliver the best possible project outcome for you. Bay Builders and remodeling is everything people look for in contractors and rarely find. When I’m asked about my experience I people they are right on schedule, professional, reliable, and very communicative. People are always shocked by this answer, considering their own experiences haven’t been as smooth as ours. We have worked with Gilad as the contractor, and Tom as project manager. We were referred by our next door neighbors who also used Bay Builders for their remodel a few years ago. Gilad and Tom are checking in with us almost daily about the progress and updates.
