TLDR: Atlas Trilo incorrectly installed the heat pump, came addressed it and broke our sprinkler system in progress. After flooded our house, it took me 2 good months to chase them down to come fix it. Yet, they accused me of trying to get them to pay for a “renovation”. 2 stars because their technicians are actually really professional but the management is not really.
- We purchased the heat pump via Home Depot and Atlas Trillo is the contractor who installed them.
- It wasn’t functional correctly. We called them to come look. Technician was awesome but informed they have to come address the return duck. They did, but broke the sprinkler
- Water came down, flooded the entire dining room on 2nd floor. Water also went to family room.
- Our house has wooden floor half the house. 5k sqft of open space.
- After the flood, Atlas Trilo brought the dehumidifiers to help dry the craw space. Mind you, they should have remove the insulation under the ceiling instead. Because they were soaked. Next thing you know, my ceiling was peeling off because of the water collecting under the ceiling. After removing the soaking wet insulation ourself, we called Atlas Trilo
- Took them awhile to find a ceiling contractor to come address our ceiling. They also said they will send me contractors to address the wooden floor that are now wobbling.
- A month after, finally the ceiling dude came patch the hole and addressed the ceiling. Their floor contractor estimated the cost of 10K to redo the wooden floor. Now remember this is an open floor plan with wooden floor half the house.
- I think this is where it went bad. I informed Atlas Trilo that we understand from their contractor that we cannot just spot address the wobbling wooden floor. We have to sand them down throughout so they are even across the board. That’s why it’s 10K. We informed Atlas Trilo that we’re willing to chip in as we already wanting to redo the floor. Somehow the GM thought we want them to pay for our renovation and started ghosting me.
- I called every other day trying to follow up and explained the situation over and over and over. I think I talked to everyone in the company.
- GM kept sending empty promise. A month passed by. I fed the f up. I started Karening on the phone threatening to take them to a small court and put a hold on their bond. - Finally the effing GM called back, and said “we’re not redoing your entire house”. I kept emphasis it’s not. Until he realized my house is 5k sqft and the 10k cost was not for the entire house, finally he agreed to payThe whole thing took 2 full months with me calling them every other days
Update: There is no update after I contacted them per request below ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Scheduled an appointment and had it cancelled at 12pm, 2 hours into the arrival time scheduled (10-2). Had to call another company. Would not recommend.
