Peace of Mind Structural lived up to its name. I learned about them through the Earthquake Brace & Bolt (EBB) program. From the start they were extremely informative and helpful. Their quote was most reasonable and they guided me step by step through the program. All of the employees were extremely polite and caring. They know what they are doing and are very supportive. The work was completed in one day and the entire experience was the easiest work I have ever had done on my home. I will not hesitate to turn to them for future work I need done and highly recommend them.

I had a very positive experience with Peace of Mind Structural. They were very prompt in scheduling an estimate inspection and also provided the estimate quickly. As I was working with the seismic retrofit state agency, I was expecting a lot of bureaucratic. difficulty in preparing the program application. However, Irene prepared and submitted all the necessary paperwork and made the whole process seamless. When the worker arrived to perform the work, they were courteous and worked under very difficult circumstances as the crawl space under my house is extremely tight. This company is amazing. They came out and gave us a bid and also told us about California’s Earthquake Brace + Bolt (EBB) program. Going through that process took us about a year but Peace of Mind was with us the whole time. The actual retrofit was painless and quick. Everyone we worked with was knowledgeable and very helpful. I can’t imagine any company doing a better job then Peace of Mind. Their name says it all.

I found Peace of Mind Structural through the Earthquake Brace and Bolt program. They were very proactive and responsive throughout the entire process. They are very familiar with the EBB process and were able to prepare necessary drawings and submittal for permits, and interacted with the EBB program with little or no involvement from us required.
Their office team communicated well with us and help set our expectations so there were no surprises.
The were very accommodating regarding our schedule. The production team was very polite and considerate of our personal space, protecting our clothes and personal items that were close to our crawl space access. They worked very hard and judging by the "after" photos did very good work.
We asked Peace to Mind to evaluate and propose a potential improvement to our foundation that was outside of the EBB process. They completed that work concurrently with the EBB work with minimal disruption to us.

Very good experience with Brandon and his team. The company was recommended to me by the structural engineer who did a foundation inspection for my house when it was under contract. Brandon came out to give me a quote for filling in some cracks and told me about the seismic retrofit program. I got into the rebate program and the crew came out to take care of the seismic retrofit and the cracks at the same time. The work was done in a timely manner and Peace of Mind took care of all the paperwork for EBB as well as the permitting. And I got a really good price on it as well. By now I also got some drainage work done by them and they did a really good job. I can highly recommend Peace of Mind Structural.

The project manager Irene Gonzalez was very responsive. She worked with me step by step to fill out the application for the 2024 Earthquake Brace Bolt program. She helped get the necessary permit and inspection done by the city. The project team members were very professional and courtesy. They even repaired my old crawl space door. We had good experience with their services. The project they did for our home covered crawlspace dry-wall cracks repair and earthquake retrofit. The work was done with care and diligence, in a professional manner. We had daily updates to know the progress and what to expect next. The office staff, foreman, and technicians involved all patiently addressed each and every question and concern we had. We highly recommend Peace of Mind to anyone looking for a reliable contractor for crawlspace and repair work.

We had our home earthquake- retrofitted back in 1997 and haven't had any issues. We were given the opportunity to reduce our premium for our annual earthquake insurance with AAA if we could provide documentation of the retrofit. Peace of Mind sent out an engineer at no charge to supply the necessary paperwork. They are a top-notch company and our home has been through a number of shakes and has absolutely zero damage.

Great team to work with. A couple of small snafus but nothing major. Team was very easy to work with and got the job done. The construction team got done a week early! So that was a pleasant surprise. I liked that they tracked all the work and stayed on top of the paperwork …permits reports billing etc. Thanks
