Our radiant heating system was 25 years old and starting to fail. Doke's recommended a new system to update and replace our old system. 2 days later they finished the installation. Professional quality, reasonable prices and great followup. I highly recommend them.

Steve at Doke’s gave thorough explanations of all possible options for our older heater/AC setup. All the specific factors, down to the duct work connections, were laid out openly and objectively for us to consider for a combo system installed at different times that was already years past its expected lifespan. The initial visit became a wait-and-see approach (We did speak with and research two other local companies during that initial consultation). When the heater/main fan unit finally reached end of life 6 months later, we just called Doke’s to go over all the options again. We discussed the pros and cons with Steve who let us decide what was right with all available information. Don’t hold back on questions. We decided to replace the heater/fan unit with some economic filter additions and keep the existing AC components which needed deep cleaning. Two days later it was done, and done well. We’ll call them again when the AC needs updating.

We experienced several above-ground gas leaks and one underground gas leak last month, along with a water leak near our main line. The plumbers were able to complete all necessary repairs and get us fully back up and running. From dispatch to the technicians to the owner, the entire team is amazing.
Alejandro was the on-site technician for our gas leak repairs every step of the way—extremely knowledgeable and now very familiar with our property, which allows him to respond quickly whenever we need support. Forrester repaired our water leak efficiently and kept the water shutoff time to a minimum.
The team provided daily updates, clear repair plans, and expert advice, and Doke himself even coordinated directly with the gas detection company to locate the underground gas leak. I can’t thank them enough for their help throughout this process. They are absolutely our go-to plumbers

My wife and I were actively evaluating the purchase of a house in Novato. I had some concerns about the condition of HVAC system - age, air flow, thermostat, etc. Our realtor recommended Patriot as a reputable company that we could contract to do an additional HVAC inspection at an EXTRA cost. On Aug, 15, 2017, one of their technicians came to do an inspection. It was uneventful, and frankly nothing revealing, however commented that we had a 2 zone damper system and older compressor that seemed to be functioning. When i asked about the temp inside the house, he said temp was reading correctly. Since they were the professionals and the so-called experts, so i took their word at face value - WRONG. They neglected to test why we were not getting sufficient airflow and superficially checked the thermostat.

Once we purchased the house and moved in, it was clearly obvious that something was wrong. The house was reaching temps of over 85 degrees and we could not adjust the thermostat. They came out again and could not figure out how to work the thermostat. Never once, did they check that the 2 zone damper system.

I finally had put in a claim through our home owners warranty insurance. They determined that the thermostat was faulty and the zone dampers were frozen shut. The insurance does not cover zone dampers.

I went back to Patriot and indicated the findings - they clearly did not do the job to which i hired them to do. Had they performed the job correctly, I would have gone back to the sellers and request the appropriate credit at closing. Patriot came back to offer me a $850 discount off of a $ 4350 charge. How insulting...are they kidding me!

I am not a fool nor will I be taken advantage by a dishonest contractor. I will be pursuing my remedies to fullest extent of the law

I made an appointment with Patriot to look at my heating/cooling system at my house in Marin. The system blew air, but it was not very hot or cold when it should have been. Although it took a week to get them to my house, when the technician came, he quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to fix it. They system was low on refrigerant and he added some. I was charged for 2 hours of time and the cost of a pound of refrigerant, which I think is very reasonable. Unfortunately some other companies would have recommended a whole new heating/ac system even though only a simple fix was needed. I commend Patriot for their honesty and reasonable fees.

Showed up on time. Work performed was very professional. Will definitely use them again.
