The crew was very professional -- always showed on time and went above and beyond to make sure we would be happy with the end result, which is always my concern when hiring contractors. Some of them are happy to do a half job and move to their next job.

I was impressed from the very first contact. Unlike most contractors I've worked with in the past, Joseph is incredibly communicative and professional. I appreciate that during the project, he sets up a group text and frequently sends updates and photos. Not only is he friendly and easy to work with, he has extremely high standard of ethics and honesty as well. He never overpromises or underdelivers. I'm glad I can count on Joseph for all my other future home projects!

I hired “Nailed It” Builders to do several pieces of repair and construction at my townhouse in Sunnyvale Ca. The first was the removal of exterior covering of a garage wall consisting of cedar shakes. The shakes had been providing the viewable covering for some 40 years and it was time for a change. I had decided that I did not want to use Cedar Shakes again, but rather finish the exterior with stucco which would match the construction type used for the community in which I reside . Nailed It sent out a gentleman, Joseph, to review the options and assess the amount of work required. Joseph was on time, knowledgeable, and courteous, and presented a plan of construction that met my requirements to a tee. He also recommended a new external door from the garage to the front lawn which turned out to be just what was needed. The second piece of work was the repair and painting of an existing 20 X 15 foot wood deck located just outside my living room. I had initially only considered sanding the existing top planks and applying a new coat of paint. Joseph looked at the deck and accurately assessed that there were more than a couple of planks which were not repairable and that some of the footing braces might need replacing as well. The long and short of it is that it became apparent that it was safer and ultimately less expensive to replace the current top planks with new wood and make any structural repairs that became apparent once the old planks were removed. A new deck was created with 2 X 6 planks which represents the work of real professionals. I could not be more satisfied than I am today with the work that was performed at my residence. I was kept abreast of the progress by Joseph in a very timely fashion, and oh by the way I failed to mention that during the bulk of this work I was away attending a 60th High School Reunion in Annapolis Maryland. Joseph sent me updates with progress photos of the work being done. When I arrived home after this 18 day trip everything was completed and I only had to decide the shade of the sealing paint to use on the new deck. This is a gold standard, 5 stars plus, and I would not hesitate to employ their services again.
