Called Cali Clean because they were a local company. Needed my chimney swept, thought to try a different company. They did schedule me in right away and came the next day, though about 1 hour later then the 2 hour window. The fellow that showed up was a nice and polite, but he was a subcontractor out of Concord.! I live in Santa Rosa. After the inspection he offered me a quote for $1600.00, which included some minor patch work which really wasn't needed, a new hood also not needed. So I told him I just want the chimney cleaned. But the charge for that was $450.00, which is allot more than I ever paid, but our chimney hood was clogged so we had to get it done. Their cleaning method of sweeping from up from the stove left allot of soot on our living room floor that we had to clean up. I'll be going back to our previous guy. As of Feb 19 I'm dropping this rating another point, I got totally taken by these guys. Now 1 month later I'm having the very same problem I called them for, our wood stove is back drafting into the house. Be sure to ask if your getting the Cali Team or a farmed out service, what a rip off.!
