I’m a property manager and have been working with Fred Frye and his team for almost 3 years. Fred had been consistent over the years in his quick responses and overall attentiveness. He is always professional and willing to do whatever it takes to make my clients happy and he makes my job so much easier in the long run. He’s honest and I trust his expertise and advice completely. Best Tree Service we have ever had! We have been delighted with Fred, Kym, and all their happy crew for over 3 years now. We met with other tree companies when we first met Fred, but Fred was the best - far and beyond the rest! He listened to my wife and my needs; he found solutions that worked for both us and him. If you read the other reviews and see that Fred saved multiple cats from trees, I'd like to confirm that Fred has a heart of gold. We have used Vintage Tree Care on several occasions to remove trees that were too close to our home and our neighbor's home. The team was super fast and I was amazed at how safe I felt about how they sectioned off the trees, and I love to worry about things! Fred is very knowledgeable about trees of all types. He knows how to prune a fruit tree, every type from citrus to stone. He knows the whole myriad of tree species and the bureaucracy of laws that must be followed while working on them. He is even humble enough to admit he will double check a fact if he is unsure, what a guy! Fred and Kym deserve some huge praise for running a great company!

Vintage tree was absolutely great! They were extremely responsive and helpful and helped us review the trees which needed pruning or removal at our property in Kenwood.
Kamala helped us negotiate with our neighbor to remove a trouble tree on his property. This was extremely helpful and saved us a lot of back and forth.
The crew was awesome and was able to handle several large trees quickly and with great care and skill.

We called Fred when our kitten was stuck in a tree for over 24 hours. The site was difficult to access, on a creek bank, 30+ feet high in a thin/weak tree. (The fire department took a look and said they were unable to help.) Fred came out on short notice, in the RAIN and rescued the kitten in minutes. We are so grateful! Thank you, Fred.

Fred is responsive and thoughtful with his communications, and he provides an honest assessment of the work. In addition, as a certified arborist, he has extensive knowledge of tree care—not just maintenance but also aesthetics. He is happy to go as deep as you’d like discussing the specifics of your tree(s) and needs, and he can speak to leafy as well as fruiting trees. The team that came out with Fred to perform the work was great, too. Everyone worked efficiently, thoroughly and carefully. When they left, you would not have known that they had been there as the yards, driveway and street were diligently cleaned. I would highly recommend Fred and Vintage Tree Care for your tree needs. I have tried other companies in the past, but will be using Vintage Tree Care from now on. Their calendar books up easily, so if you’re interested, I’d recommend starting the conversation sooner rather than later.

Quick response and very friendly. But the price is all I care about. Sam gave me an out of reach price $3,400 for 2 medium palm trees. Which I think it should be haft the price.
