I wanted to give a shout out to Sam's Tree Service. What a great company. Father and son locally owned. I had a huge tree fall on a structure at my house. I got 3 other bids from the big companies. They all came in ridiculously priced except for Sam's. I appreciate that tree removal is dangerous and expensive but the other companies were out of control. These guys showed up on time and left my place immaculate when they left. They were so reasonable that I am getting them back to do more work to prevent fires. I can't say enough about these guys

My neghbior used Sam's Tree service today. What 3 amazing men they were. Very polite and respectful. Used my driveway to clear some trees in the neghbiors back yard. They had to work over our fence. They didnt hit it one time with the tree branches. They did an amazing job. Raked and leaf blew my driveway. They were on time and quick. I highly recommended them! Sam and your 2 workers did a GREAT JOB!!!

I can't say enough about Sam's. I don't even know where to start. I had several bids to remove a huge fallen redwood from the recent storm. It was very difficult to remove it from our neighbors backyard, with limited access. Short story, they did it for much less than any other quote I had, innovated a miraculous plan to hoist the tree using other trees and got it out the neighbors backyard. I would never have imagined this was possible and I like to think I'm pretty technical with an engineering background. My mind was blown, just an amazing job!!! Then they arranged someone to come on site and milled the tree into boards. I'm so happy this poor tree didn't go to waste. The boards alone are worth what we paid to have it removed. I could go on and on but I'm going to leave it at, these guys are truly amazing, they have many decades of experience and are so nice, professional, affordable and truly amazing. I am so thankful for them. Thank you Sam Jr and Sam Sr, you guys really made a disaster into a little hiccup. Huge hugs!!!!

Highly recommended I saw this guys working in Novato but I live in Vacaville and I asked for their business card and I called I couples of weeks later I spoke to Sam on the phone he told me they will send someone out to give me a free estimate, his father came out and gave me a quote on the tree and a tree stump I had on my backyard, we agree on the price and started the process to have pg&e to come out and make sure were not power or gas lines on the way, today Sam and his crew came out to cut the tree and they did such a great and professional job that even my neighbor hired them on the spot to get some tree stumps out , this guys where on time, professional, very nice people to deal with and very respectful, Sam is bilingual Spanish and English, and their prices are super affordable stop calling other companies give Sam a call trust me you will not regret hiring this guys . I will use their services again and of course recommend them Tommy friends and family.

This crew are the best. There. I said it and without hyperbole. Here's why: Father and son team who know what they're doing and have been working together for many years. All are bonded and insured. Sam's is a small outfit and this is a Very Good Thing. It means they devote 100% of their time to YOU (not like another tree service we have used where the owner left someone else in charge and butchered our trees). The Sams LISTEN to what you want. They suggest what is best for you and for your trees and landscaping. It's pretty obvious from the get-go that they care.
Oh, and they are reasonably priced to boot. What more can you want?

Sam's Tree Services was recommended to us by someone who had hired them before, so we asked them to submit a bid. Their bid was very fair and we set a date and time for them to do the work. Sam Sr. and Sam Jr. and Juan showed up exactly one time and completed the work perfectly and actually did some extra work without charging us more. Sam's Tree Service is top notch! Great communication, great service, and honest and fair prices! We have a heritage oak tree on the property line between our back neighbor that also hangs over our side neighbor's property. Sam's Tree Service coordinated with all 3 of us and did a wonderful job removing some weight from the canopy and thinning out the branches to reduce the risk of breakage in these crazy storms. All 3 of us neighbors are extremely happy with the job that Sam's did. They did a great job of cleaning up afterwards too! Highly recommend, and we will use them again for future tree maintenance.

The Sam's team took down a 75' redwood right next to my mother's house. It was so big it had become a hazard to several houses in the neighborhood. Definitely a challenging job only for the most competent professionals.

Sam's team is very well equipped, highly experienced, careful and efficient. The result was that there was no damage to any people or property, no drama, no surprises. They are fun to watch, though! Taking down a big tree is not cheap, but they offered the best price we could find and they absolutely earned every dollar.
