I had the best experience with Sam's tree service. They removed a very large oak tree that was situated over my house. I found them to be very professional, on time, friendly and very capable. Sam Jr. was quick to respond with the estimate and answered all my text questions. I highly recommend them, worth every penny and more!

Sam and his team did a fantastic job trimming some large limbs and branches of trees around my house. Sam came to the house about two weeks before the job started, gave me a full understanding of what needed to be done, took photos, and then sent me a estimate. Sam's pricing was excellent as compared to other pricing we received. On the day the work was completed, Sam's team arrived at our home with four technicians, and with two trucks, including a wood chipper to dispose of all of the limbs and tree trimmings. The team did an excellent job, appeared to adhere to all safety requirements, completed the job by the end of the day to our satisfaction, and did an excellent job cleaning our driveway of all wood chips and debris. If you are looking for tree service, then you should stop looking now and call Sam's Tree Service. They were simply the best - I've never had a better experience. From the beginning, Sam and his team were extremely responsive. I sent out a request for a quote, and Sam got back to me via e-mail the same day. He came by to take a look, and within 24 hours gave us a quote that was extremely affordable. The best part was that he called me the following day saying that his team had a little extra time available, and got the job done that day. His team was very professional, and Sam was fantastic. We had a tree removed as well as several trees trimmed, and everything looks great. Thank you to Sam and your team - we will not hesitate to call back the next time we need tree work done and will never look elsewhere.

Sam an his Son have been coming to our home every 3 yr to prune up our Oak Tree. They are safety minded, haul away the brush, an clean up the area. Very pleasant family to deal with. Would highly recommend there tree service. They also keep up my Moms much older Oak tree as well.

We had one tree that was leaning over or house and needed to be removed. Another tree had grown too large and needed to be significantly trimmed. We got three estimates. Sam’s was the best communicator and had decades of experience. They arrived on time and worked efficiently. In a half day, the work was done including complete clean up. We highly recommend them.

We had Sam and his crew clean up four large oak trees and take out sick redwood. They couldn’t have been nicer or more professional. We will definitely use them in the future and would highly recommend them.

Sam’s Tree Service removed 3 large Eucalyptus trees from our front yard in Healdsburg. They were on time, efficient and protected other plants whenever possible. We were quite impressed that they were able to remove all three trees and debris and grind out the rather large stumps in one day.

My only suggestion for people using their service is to find out more about the details and equipment for the stump grinding before deciding to have the stumps done. We knew that removing the sawdust would not be included on the project, however we did not realize the sheer volume of sawdust it would produce, or that a small vehicle would need space to drive from the street to the site of each stump to do the grinding.

However, we would definitely recommend Sam’s Tree Service for any tree removal jobs in the future. A family owned business, they worked with great safety coordination and camaraderie and in spite of the height of the crane, we were fascinated, not frightened, at watching the whole operation.

We needed a couple of large trees removed and several others trimmed to comply with our insurance company's requirements. Sam came out the same day I called to provide a competitive quote, and then a few weeks later the team came out to do the work. They did an excellent job and were very friendly. The large trees were on the boundary line and they also addressed the neighbor's concerns prior to removal. Definitely will use them again

Let me just start by saying that we are thoroughly impressed with Sam and his crew. We had a 45 ft cedar that needed to be removed. We shopped around Sonoma county companies and got some pretty expensive quotes. Sam was the only one who came to our house to look at the job. He gave a reasonable estimate. I told him we had an estimate that was similar but with a 20% off coupon and he PRICE MATCHED the coupon. Communication was clear and prompt. He and his crew showed up exactly when they said they would. They worked efficiently and thoroughly. They got the job done to perfection. Afterwards, Sam and I shared picture of our kids. He really does care about his clients and the work. I cannot recommend Sam’s Tree Services enough. You will not be disappointed.

Very happy with Sam's tree service. They came to look at our job this past Saturday and were able to fit us in by Monday. We had three trees on our hillside that we were not comfortable to fall ourselves. We are very grateful for their hard work, their professionalism, and their cleanliness. I had one dozen thirty year old cypress trees in my front and back yards that I wanted removed. They got the job done including the cleanup in less than a day and a half.

Our experience with Forest Tree Services was fabulous from beginning to end.

Starting with Forest spending almost 2 hours walking our property with my wife to evaluate the health of our trees and to explain in detail which trees he recommended trimming, pruning & removing dead wood, even indicating what percentage of trimming would be done for each tree, so as not to stress it. We have oaks, redwoods, Japanese maples, & olive trees on our property, so it was important that an arborist that was knowledgeable and informative about the different species be involved in this process. Forest did not disappoint.

Then when his crew came to perform the work, they were all very professional & considerate. They carefully moved outdoor furniture and potted plants out of harms way, cleaned up all debris and leaves, and put everything back in it's place, so that our yard looked better than before they arrived.

Felix, the project manager, was a great communicator and when my wife told him she'd like to learn how to prune our olive and Japanese maple by watching, he kindly gave her a step-by step tutorial as she watched him prune them. Their whole team was absolutely wonderful and they will be the only ones we use for tree work going forward! My trees look the best they've ever looked thanks to Forest Tree Services.
