I called this morning when the first cold spell of the year hit and the furnace in our 103 year old home would not come on. Alex was here in a few hours and had things up and running in short order. He is always takes the time to explain it all to me and show me how things work.

We have used them in the past and the experience always leaves me feeling like I have made a great choice.

If you want a company that is dependable, honest, and takes pride in their work, you need look no further than Carswell Heating and Sheet Metal. These guys went above and beyond just replacing heater ducts. After dealing with rodent issues for 3 years that had eaten through the old ducts, these guys found all the entry points and sealed them, something 3 rodent companies did not do. They are just the best.

Carswell installed our furnace a few years back and do our annual maintenance. They are very professional and responsive. This month we had an emergency situation with rats chewing through our heating ducts. My wife called Alex and he scheduled Taylor and crew right away. The crew was friendly, professional and very thorough. The problem was diagnosed and fixed in one day. Not only did they replace the ducts; but made sure that any openings in the crawlspace were sealed and disinfected the whole area. I highly recommend Carswell.

Carswell HVAC is a 3rd generation business. 30 years ago Rob and his boys installed a new forced air furnace and ducts through out our house. It’s been quietly working ever since, until a couple of days ago. Called Alex who responded immediately. No waiting. He had the parts in his vehicle. From installation to service Carswell is there.

SO glad I found Carswell Heating! I live out of state but have rentals on the Monterey Peninsula, so I can't always be there when work is done on those properties. So, understandably, I worry about the quality of work done in my absence, and how my tenants will be treated. Turns out I had NO reason to worry about Carswell. I was SO impressed with how quickly they got to the house, how thoroughly they analyzed the problem, and then how professionally they fixed EVERYTHING. Plus they were really kind to my tenant, and that meant a LOT to me. I thought their charges were fair, and they are some of the nicest people I've dealt with in quite a while. The next time any of my properties need help with their HVAC systems I'm calling Carswell!

Very pleased with the level of service and the willingness to fulfill a couple of request. They were very knowledgable and they worked efficiently. I had a new thermostat installed, and not only did they fulfill the request of the new position of the thermostat, they removed the old one and patched up the holes in the wall. Will definitely be a return customer when needed.

I received a call back the same day I left a message in need of diagnosis and repair of an old gas wall furnace that wasn't turning on/off without manually adjusting the thermostat. Alex explained the most likely cause over the phone and what to expect in terms of repair costs. He was able to successfully repair the issue in 1 appointment and the invoice explained the details of the repair. Very happy customer!

Everything about this transaction was fantastic. My HVAC unit was turning on, heating up, but not blowing any heat into the house.

Alex came over within a couple days to tske a look. He showed up exactly when he said he would, and quickly diagnosed the problem. Once he fixed that, he removed a bunch of filters from all of the heater vents (free of charge). He explained that those extra filters were creating a static buildup in the heating system, which would make it less efficient, and possibly a fire hazzard. . When he went out to his vehicle to get some tools, he noticed that my front door did not close without considerable force. He fixed that as well, also free of charge. There was a reasonable and modest price for the HVAC repairs, of course. Another company told me the unit was too old and I should just replace it...for 8 thousand dollars.
